Not getting alerts and it won't follow me. I have to choose the city I'm in. When I choose for it to follow, it just spins indefinitely. Expecting severe weather today. My co-workers phone has gone off twice this morning; mine - radio silence.
The 2x2 widget is horrible looking now. It just looks like a badly cropped screenshot of a website. Is there anyway to change it, or are those static skins? The old dark one with the borders was great.
Love it to check the local forecast videos! I even use it when I'm out of town to plan around storms with the 6 hour radar forecast. My normal phone weather is... EEhh more of a quick check estimate. NBC12 First Alert I can trust to be accurate and on my side!
The app is fine for weather info, except that it has to restart frequently (bad coding).. but don't even waste your time with the videos.. the same 20+ second ad runs before *every single* video plays.. every one.. you can't even unmute a weather video that's playing on the main tab without the app kicking you the video tab and forcing you to watch the ad and then restarting the weather video..... i realize ad revenue is important, but I simply never watch the videos because of the ads.
Totally awesome. I recommend it to anyone. If bad weather approaches. They give you a loud alarm on your phone a head of time to take shelter now in your area. NBC 12 ROCKS !
Whenever I open the app after getting notified by a video alert, I'll get the same notification 2 or 3 more times, and then the video will play twice simultaneously. Even after leaving the application, the videos will continue to play. It started happening after the newest update. Edit: I've literally gotten the same notification 8 times. Wth
I'd rate it 5, except the Map Box is a little difficult to understand and takes a little too much time to load.
I've been using this app for years and love it. So easy to check forecast and radar. The short videos are informative and useful.
It's the most accurate weather app I have found. They go a little crazy with the ads though.
It works well to provide me the information I need about local weather. I really like the weather radar feature

This app has saved us in serious weather conditions from snow blizzards to tornadoes and very bad hail storms. This is our go to app!!
This app is trash! Has more problems than a math book. Half of the time the videos do not play, freezes up, etc. The only thing that works is the temperature display. It's more accurate that your phone. Im deleting this...I like Ch 12 weather reports better than the other locals but I'm going to have to use what actually works!
I don't know when y'all finally fixed it, but thank you so much for changing the app icon so the word "weather" wasn't broken into 2 lines. That always bugged me. LOL! Otherwise, great app! Love seeing Andrew & the gang every day. I'd be willing to opt for an ad-free version if available.
Latest update broke the opt-out for push notifications. I keep turning off the "NBC12 Alerts" feature, but I keep getting push notifications for new video posts. When I look in the app, the feature has turned on again. If this persists, I'll be removing the app entirely.
I used to love this app. Used it everyday. Since the update a few weeks ago it will not work at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times but it won't even open anymore. I just tried again, still not working.. PLEASE FIX the issue, this used to be a great app!
Love the app. I use it all the time for up to date weather info. I use so many of the features including the videos, radar, current temp, and daily to see upcoming weather when planning events.
Love the future radar and vids, but seems like the radar isn't as accurate as others.
Stopped working, used to be a good app. Now can't touch anything on the screen. Tried deleting app and reloading with still same issue. Time to find new weather app.

Easy to use and usually pretty accurate.
Okay, I was perplexed regarding the app freezing at different times but it isn't anymore and it was one of my apps that caused the problem. I was running Twilight as a blue light filter and it was blocking the app I some way. I uninstalled it and everything works much better.
