Hands down one of the most problematic apps to use. You would think such a big bank could figure out how to create an easy to use and dependable app but no. The app is like their general services, really really bad.
As you know every 6 months you have to change your password. The problem is that this function works only through the website. Inside the app your login is being declined without user knowing what is the reason for the unsuccessful login. (Does not say you need to change your password or wrong password or anything) As a result of all the above your account is silently being stated as suspicious from the bank side (due to failed login attempt) declining any online activity unless you give a call to customer support to unblock the card.
The app is working well, but I do have one issue with it. It's ALWAYS stuck open in my recent apps. I tried force stop, uninstall and install, nothing works. I always have it in the background, it's impossible for me to clear it from my phone's memory. Anyone else with this problem ?
I bought a new phone specifically to be able to use contactless payment. NFC works perfectly with Google Pay but DOES not work via the app I have tried it on several POS and it just hangs- it just does not work. Why can't you just allow the card to be added to Google Pay like other banks do. The app itself is fine when it comes to doing transfers payments checking balance -My bad review has to do only with the contactless feature - please fix it or allow cards to be added to Google Pay
I have a great experience from this app, the UI is very friendly. My main issue, is that Everytime I open the app the pop up for biometrics doesn't open automatically as it used before. Only if I uninstall and reinstall the app this is resolved and only for a limited period.
When using the English version, many of the texts , icons and descriptions are still totally in Greek, very annoying...
NFC support would be nice... if it was 2015. And even then, it's problematic: you have to open the app, hide the keyboard so that the "Contactless Payment" button becomes visible, tap the button, then enter your PIN, then tap to pay. This takes so much longer than using the native Google Pay with Eurobank or Revolut that it kind of defeats the purpose. It's almost faster to just pull out the card. Please, please add support for Google Pay so that we no longer have to suffer with this app.
The widget for NFC payments is not working. When pressed it opens the nbg mobile banking app. It is useless to be pinned on the mobile screen
Not the best ... limited options... not message support for customer services.... and not so user friendly app ither ...
For some reason I do not have the option for contactless payments despite my phone having an NFC chip and Google Pay working flawlessly with other cards. Very poor development
Solves a lot of time, good experience but I miss the human contact that I was used to it (been 74 years old now). Thanks.
The mobile app shows up "Unexpected error" everywhere and displays zero funds in your accounts. Also, setting up a pin doesn't work, and neither does connectivity with investments.
It is useless. It is not like in Europe. You must visit bank for almost everything. They don't have services online.
It tells me that my password has expired, asks me if I want to change it (no option but to change the password because it only has cancel and yes options), I try to change it and then it gives me an error message of "object reference not set to an instance of an object". What does that even mean?? I've sent an email to the developer and still no response. This is a banking app that I use CONSTANTLY and it's broken. Very disappointing
NFC support is mandatory these days and I can't even enable it in my bevice! I get a message "The process was not completed successfully. Please try again"...for several days! Not recommended on my end for everyday use!
Simply the worst! Crashes frequently, slow at everything, OTP never arrives...
It is crazy that every month you lock me out of the app asking for all the credentials all over again. What is the point of using a secure pin and the biometrics if you are going to ask me to log in again. It's not safe to carry this info with me. I was on vacation and it locked me out. Couldn't access the account info through the app at all. This is something that needs to be corrected. Extremely disappointed and annoyed since it keeps on happening.
Very usable. You have to make the fund transfer process executed from the app a bit clearer and correctly informative. I had to transfer money internationally, to the uk, thus a non eu bank anymore thus a fully international transfer, and the app showed wrong transfer fees (10€ instead of 35€) without ease of understanding regarding which of the two parties of the transaction would cover the transfer.
I cannot pay contactless with the app. When I add my card to contactless payments it just adds a random card that is not even to my name so I cannot use it. Just make it work with Google pay!!!
The app is redeem useless by the bank . It has happened to me repeatedly whenever I approve a transaction through the app by using my fingerprint to need to call on the customer service because they have froze my transaction. Just useless
The worst banking app I ever used, or actually never used, because is almost impossible to register....
The best e-banking app I have used so far with regular improvements and fixes.
Perfect but they keep changing the process, which is tieing. They will say we are sending a code and you can wait for minute.

After the update I cant pay using the app. The app also crashed frequently
The part where the user can change his current or other address just doesn't work.There are five separate boxes to put street name/number/postal code /region/city. which is not practical ,what is region ?.It should only say in capital letters at the top : input new "current address" OR input "other address, if the user is changing one of the two and allow the app user to put in his full address in a blamk open space.Unable to change my address in it's current input format.
This is the worst banking app. There is no log out button and I cannot get to my account with my pin ..overly complicated and lacking with regard to English.
It used to work fine, stopped working a month ago for no reason, no errors given, when I try to pay it just keeps loading forever, I sent an email but received no response, I checked all permissions, everything is in place, so it's utterly useless, I asked other people, some have no problems, others have the same problem and they just don't use the app no more because they couldn't find a solution
