I have been trying from yesterday to set up the app without no avail. It just stops at the security set up and when am trying to continue it says error. These are simple things I think can be fixed immediately you guys need to look into that. Another thing can't you guys set the app that we can use our finger prints as an option for extra security instead of having to get a token everytime downloading another app is just unnecessary
This is a very good and secure App, I would prefer if there is an option to use more biometric instead of password, and finger print,this would help some of the older people who have a problem in remembering their password , this would help to allevate the situation of visiting the bank for customer service to just help to get a new password more over its not a fast way to get out of there and it could be an emergency situation especially on a weekend when the banks are closed.
My blood pressure has gone sky high trying to do what should be a simple task of resetting a password. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Definitely will be Uninstalling and will never never recommend to anyone until this problem is fixed.
What's the point of an update if it doesn't fix anything? I've been trying for days to sign up on both the app and the website and I keep seeing a message saying that you're sorry for the inconvenience and that you'll fix it so I thought, "Oh, they're working on it" but seeing as there was a recent update and after that update I'm still having the same issue, I guess not much has been done to fix it. What's the point of keeping this app when I have no use for it.
It would be nice to be able to purchase call credit from the account and I wish it was more user friendly. This rsa token thing is a bad idea. I wrote this 2 years ago and fastford to 2022 and NCB added the option to purchase credit from this app. Thanks NCB
NCB I am so DISAPPOINTED it's been months now since I have been trying to create an account and after putting in my information and then creating a username and password its telling be there is an error and I should wait awhile until it's fixed and it's been almost a year now. I fooled myself thinking the problem may have been fixed now, so I downloaded it again a few days ago and its the foolishness. look the idea is good but u guys need to go back the the drewing board.
It's funny how there's always frequent maintenance and upgrades to the app and it still doesn't work properly...it's been 2 weeks since I've been unable to log in the app it doesn't go pass the log on page
Experience was okay, but there's a problem with your "SESSION ENDING SOON " that reminder should not come on while you're actively using the App. It should come on when there's no actively for a while, maybe 30 seconds are so give are take . This App., seems as if it is time for a certain amount of time so if you are doing multiple transactions it just comes on a set ⏲️ time. Fix this problem l give 4 🌟 for the App., and (0 0) zeros for the time out session.
Credit Card statement download doesn't work on one of my devices and I dont know why............ Good but needs more refinement. Please give us the ability to see how the total balance changes as each transaction is posted to the account. Also, I'd like the ability to see pending, unposted transactions for my credit card. Do same for the web platform too.
It is very frustrating at times using this app I have been trying to access my account from Saturday and it is not working, when i try to access it using the Google platform it is telling me that i have entered my password too many times, which i did not. If the password has expired shouldn't the system indicate that instead of not giving me access to my account. The updates are not working its making it worse. Please fix your system.
My experience is easy. However I wasn't sure if the NWC bill that I paid went to my Customer premises number as it didn't show that on the screen like I saw the first and last time that I paid. It is possible that it is saved in my NCB account however I need that to be clear.
I haven't been able to use this app for months now. The app kept shutting me out and then finally I was unable to log in as I kept getting the msg stating that my password was invalid ( even when I know I was selecting the correct password).
Good app to use for managing finances. It usually gives trouble when a new update is released. I hope the developers are aware of this issue. It does not allow me to log in after updating the software.
This app is pretty easy to access once you get the hang of it. I don't know if it's a downside that it locks you out after two tries at an incorrect password but that's the only issue.
The app keeps shutting me out, by saying my session has ended even when am using it. I have been trying to add my payees over two months now and it's not going through. I even uninstalled the app and downloaded the updated version and still no changes. Imagine you want to transfer funds and pay your bills and it's no use. Also, I am only able to see a limited amount of deposit and withdrawal transactions, while other banking apps provides up to a month or two with detailed info.
At this point I'm really tired of the app because if it hasn't encountered a problem it's something else, like don't you guys have person's from IT or somewhere fixing or checking on the app to make sure it's running smoothly? Now I'm unable to send funds to someone because the request has been submitted for processing, when you guys are taking out your processing fee I don't see that been submitted to be processed. I'm really sick, tired and frustrated with you guys.
I haven't been able to use it, i downloaded it a month ago and it told me they were fixing an error about the security token. I downloaded it again and it's telling me the same thing, smh
For the past weeks I have been trying to access my account through the app and each time I enter my password or use fingerprint to login, all it does is twirl and twirl then goes back to the login page. What the heck is wrong with the app all of a sudden kmt😡😠This needs to be fixed come on man, people don't have time to waste! I need to access the app!!
The app doesn't work what's the sense of having a bank if u can't do online banking. I transfer money to my account 1 week now and it not there but was taken from my Scotia account. The system is down so frequent it doesn't make sense right now I want to close the account this is trash!!!
Honestly I've been trying to use this for the past few weeks. It's been telling me about error and it won't let me set up for the token. Tried uninstalling and installing it back but its the same result. I went to watch the videos on how to sign up but it's the same result it keep saying error. I am so lost to what is happening with the app.
Very convenient. Eliminates having to wait in long lines. Only draw back is i am not able to transfer to other bank. This would have made it excellent. Update Now I can give 5 stars as I am able to do transfer to other banks.
This token issue is the worse thing NCB have and the fact that we can't get anyone "Customer Service" which is another mess because it's either you can't get them or they give you instructions to do and when that is done it's the same problem, just to get a token for my phone due to the fact that my previous phone was lost, and until this day I can't conduct my business/transactions which is very ridiculous and the worst thing too the bank cannot help you as they gonna direct you to the phone.
My account is disabled after 2 use, more than once and the sad part is when u call for assistance no one answered. Then u have to wait in long lines at the bank for hours only to go to be put on a phone to talk with the same assistant that u cud just call from ur home. Even now it's disable so I can't do anything online kmt.
UPDATE!!! I am still unable to view my transactions. I've sent a number of emails to the technical teams, called customers care like a million times and nothing. Why is it so damn hard to fix. I NEED TO SEE MY TRANSACTIONS!!!
From I download this app and trying to set it up, its not going through. It keep on telling me there is a problem and you are fixing it and all a now. Y'all need to fix this.
From 2 days now I am trying to set up the mobile app and is getting an error, saying we have encountered an error sorry for the inconvenience while we fix it..Can't manage this in this time and age.
The new update brings more stability to the overall experience. Updated- The apps is getting better with each update. Continue with the improvements.
I've been trying to log in from last week and everytime I punch in my password it keeps twirling and then nothing happens 🙄 like what tha hell, people have online banking for a reason. Please fix this system
Very convenient!!! even thou I wish I could add credit from the App itself but I see new features adding so I hope that's in the pipe line
*Update* Since getting it sorted out, it works fine. Still has some kinks but it's useful for transfers and balance checks.* I thought this was supposed to be an easy alternative to going into the bank. The set up was painstaking, I eventually got to the security token section and realised I had to install another app!!! Then I tried to do so and the thing went right back to the very beginning of set up. I didn't even get to add the other app. And I was not about to start all over again.
