Great visualization tool for the NCDX beacon network! I'm afraid many (all?) of the negative reviews are from folks who just don't understand what this is actually for.
not sure how this is supposed to work i had it for several months to a year and the beacons never changed nor could i ever hear them. It must have worked for a few, just not me.
I didn't hear a thing, or I couldn't figure out how to hear anything, even after following the map. Uninstall.
Better than MFJ beacon indicator and this one is free.
Does the job well. Includes WARC beacons too.
Busy Downloading Beacon Arturo Zr1uro Cape Town South Africa
Wasn't very helpful in finding propagation to the North and South. Maybe in the future when more beacons are online
Pretty much useless only has a few beacons listed
The timing seems perfectly matched in my android app, and this mobile display and timing is better than what I get even on my macbook pro or win10 computers. Tnx & congrats for the nice app.
This app makes it easy to find what beacons are currently transmitting. I find this app extremely useful to determine what propagation conditions are like. I recently had a problem with this app crashing. I emailed the developer and he was able to push out a fix in less than a day. Great support from a great developer.
The best beacon service useful to check propagation. Thanks, Luigi IZ7MSJ
Use it often.
Never worked.
Rapid dev support leads to errors!!! Click on OA4B and it says LU4AA Buenos Aires. Click on YV5B and it says OA4B Lima. Click on 5Z4B and it says ZS6DN Pretoria. Click on VR2B and it says JA2IGY Mt. Asama. Approx. 50% errors in code. Needs a lot more work and attention to detail.
Had an issue with Galaxy Nexus, and dev responded immediately with help and resolved the issue quickly! Note do not use force gpu rendering and app will work great.
Works great on Samsung Tab 10.1!
Works perfectly (Samsung Infuse 4G). Thanks for making it available.
Needs SD card support.
Great app. They even put in a fix for the Droid UTC vs GPS time offset bug. Nicely done.
Wish it covered below 20 meters and 6 meters. I use those bands a lot and it would be helpful to see the propagation on those bands. Are there not beacons on those bands??
