NCP ReCap: Shopping Rewards

I thought at first that it was a improvement compared to the old way. I had to scan each item and manually enter the information. So I left the program, it took so much time. I was excited to sign up for this. But, I deleted the app. It only scans paper reciepts and all my grocery orders are pick up and delivery. I tried to contact customer service, but the form is so slow to recognize the letters i type. Making it still way to frustrating to use or reach out for assistance. Needs work still.

It's not too bad anymore. I did a review & rated it a while back & had no choice but to give it 1⭐. Since then I've revisited the app & it's a keeper. I use it 3-4 days a week. Night & day difference. I don't want this to get so long it's unreadable but there are small improvements that I think could be made & it would be a solid fiver⭐. Nice job guys, keep it up.

Used this app for awhile, but it constantly didn't recognize legitimate receipts. Sometimes I had to scan the same receipt a few times before it would finally accept it. If it didn't, I contacted support and was able to get my points. I stayed with it until I could cash out and then deleted app. It didn't pay much per receipt and the aggravation it caused wasn't worth my time.

So far ok. App is slow to load and when I tried to send a comment about a receipt that was unapproved, it took so long to load, I gave up. Haven't cashed in yet, so can't give more stars. We'll see.... *UPDATE* Cashed in on my first $25 Amazon GC. All good. Still having problems with crashing and sucking all the life out if my phone. Will keep this, though unless it keeps crashing. July 2020 update! Keep using this app. So far bugs seem to have been fixed! I am very satisfied.

I like this app better then other ncp app, it's much easier to scan the receipt then to scan bar code on every single purchase. I haven't had any issues with the functionality of the app. Haven't cashed out yet hence it only receives 4 stars. It's a slow earner but I am being paid for something I would do anyway. I like it better then ibotta because I can earn points for all grocery receipts and not forced to purchase particular item from a particular store.

Terrible. The options on the left in the app give you nothing. There's no place where I can see the receipts I scanned in, what date, time, amount and how many points I got for it. I scanned my first 4 receipts in and the app gave me 0 pts. It's been 2 days.. still no points have showed up. Then I have a 1 on the outside of the app and a notification on my pull down menu that this app has "new content waiting in NCP" but when I go to it, there's nothing new. Deleting!

I haven't earned enough points to try to get a reward yet. But so far...so good! This one is where you need to take pics of every receipt you get, for the entire household. NCP Mobile is similar; just take a picture of the barcode for every item you bought during a shopping trip :)

I never have any issues scanning. I see many people do. I find it frustrating there is no way to earn extra points for either items bought or for special buys. Other than that it's decent enough. Takes quite a long time to earn even $5.

Rated it 4 because I literally just installed it. No problems signing up, and I loaded my 1st receipt with no problems. So far, it works great and does what it says, which is reward u with 250 points for signing up, then u get 50 pts/receipt/week, up to 500 points. I will update my review and award 5 stars when I get more experience with the app, perhaps after surveys or cashing out points. But so far, this is easy to use!! Great so far!!

Being forced to move to app the CoinOut if I want my points bc this app is merging with them. Been trying to cash out all week so that I don't have to switch to the new app but for some reason the conf. code is never sent to my email. They finally replied to me saying that some email address have trouble getting it & did I want to switch my email address?... I replied yes, please. I never heard back & now it's too late to cash out conveniently. What a bunch of BS. Totally don't appreciate it 🤬

Apps been working great, now when I take a picture of a receipt it returns back to main menu after the first picture, 3 times now LG Stylo 4. Otherwise app has come a long way. Its pretty fast to upload and all. Compared to the other "receipt apps" i currently use, id say this one is my 2nd favorite, i prefer not to sit anymore than 1 minute before continuing on to the next receipt for upload and you guys are on top of it.

Too many times I'm told my receipt is too small, even when it's pieced together. Other times I'm told it's not a receipt. I'm getting fed up with this and am considering deleting it. Fetch seems to be much better. EDITED ... Still having the same issues. Will cash out when I have enough points. 5-9 still having to resubmit over and over until it's accepted.

I've really enjoyed doing this it's been super easy to understand and easy to use. I've been using the site for a while now. I thought when it told you to submit your receipt and then it says it was successful was i thought it was successful. But instead of saying what the problem was and giving you the chance to change it. They put down it wasnt a receipt.

One of the best receipt reward apps. I have used all that I can find, and have deleted some because they just are not worth my time. This one works great every time I use it and I haven't had any problems with receipts being denied, like some other apps do. This is a keeper!

Only Amazon rewards are a waste, and you only earn points for 10 receipts a week. While this process is a step up from NCP's old way of doing things, they cannot compete with other apps that provide better reward choices and the ability to earn more points more quickly.

I use multiple receipt apps and I'm not overly impressed with this one. I don't seem to be getting all my points. When I look at receipt history, it doesn't tell me how many points I've received. It just says "it will be 2-3 days to receive points" even though some are weeks old. It also tells me that some of my receipts are not receipts when I try to submit them, even though some from the same store counted as receipts. I'm giving it 2 stars because I'm still hoping points will come through.

This is the worst app ever to come out of Russia. Crash rate is 90 percent. Even crashes when you try to submit feedback. Uncaught exceptions, hangs, 5-10 min latency before a crash. Don't waste your time no matter how desperate you are for cash.

I use NCP and I like the app, so I decided to try NCP ReCap to see if it enhanced my experience with NCP. Well, I haven't been given access to log on to the NCP ReCap app! I emailed NCP and their response was that they were only granting access to people from a certain demographic at this point in time. Apparently, I don't fit the profile. But it seems, other new users have successfully been granted access. This app chooses it's users and not the other way around. First time I've ever seen that!

Before installing I read at least 50 reviews and was reluctant to install app. My curiosity got the best of me and I went ahead and installed. The install went smooth. I kept waiting for a "freeze" The application and scan of first receipt went great. Here i was waiting for something to go wrong however everything went just like any other application I downloaded and registered. I received 250 points just for downloading the app and 50 points for scanning my first receipt. I like it so far.

It was working for me for a couple weeks, then all of a sudden when I scan a receipt I notice I'm no longer getting points. I've been stuck at 2750 for a week or more now. I'm afraid of putting any more in and lose more points. For now we are at a 2 star fix the points and it will go up.

Love it...the only reason why i gave it 4 stars tho....is becuz i wish they would except more reciepts...i use 2 other apps that are basicly the same and it seems like all of them basicly only except a small amount of reciepts for the week or they stop excepting them becuz there is a limit to the amount of points u can receive per week....it feels like the limit is very low or its just the same as the other apps.

Can't get passed the join/login. I've never used this app, nor have I used the other one that is just NPC. It tells me that my email is already in use, then when I go to login it tells me my account is inactive and to call them. Very disappointed as I wanted to see how this app worked 😔

Worse than the others. Says you can earn points towards rewards by taking surveys. However , since I installed the app, no surveys have ever been available. Also points are not always issued. Kind of a waste of time

Initially this app was great then recently it stopped working whenever I would submit a receipt. Customer service was no help. I tried everything to fix it - uninstal, install again but nothing worked so had no choice but to delete the app.

Was only doing this app because I had others I was doing anyway. But you can only get 50 points for the first 10 receipts in each week. I always have more than 10 in a week to upload. They are now changing to a different app that has horrible reviews, so it looks like the points I've earned will be going down the drain on the 1st as I will not be downloading the other app.

Keeps Stopping after I scan the receipt,immediately closes by itself,then after a few days later it works for a few receipts then it stops again. Nice app,only that issue that makes it difficult to earn your points when not working.

If you have short receipts it works ok but if you have to take more than one picture the app crashes over 90% of the time and you have to forcefully shut the the app and restart many times before your successful.

Excellent offers .. getting app to accept pictures can be quite frustrating at times. Over time I am getting better at figuring out what the app will accept in conjunction with how I scan it. Remaining frustration is when I get a receipt that is not dark enough...and am told by business another one cannot be printed...then NCP says "image blurry " not acceptable... grrrr

Love using this app & accruing points. I scan all of my purchases & take the surveys for points. Sometimes the surveys take a really long tune to answer, but it's free points so I do it anyway.

This app is a bust. They don't allow everyone to join. I went through the process of joining and signing up and after doing all that, they said they weren't recruiting anyone in my area for this. Who knew you had to be recruited to get grocery discounts!!!! The add is a flat out lie, I should have known because this is a survey company or something like that.....so basically they are probably not paying you as much as they would for doing surveys through the grocery reciepts. It's a bust.
