The North Country Public Radio App allows you to listen to North Country Public Radio live, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the North Country Public Radio streams at once! It takes very long time to finally load. When I press the arrow shaped button it used to create acircle indicating it was starting and made a click. It started broadcasting right away. For the past several months it no longer makes a noise or draws a circle and itakes 8-10 seconds before starting the broadcast. Often I have to press arrow several times. I don't have this problem with other NPR stations on my phone.
Very stable so far, no drops or conflicts yet
Not able to immediately place it in background. Have to jump to another app and exit from there to get that to work. It's a minor annoyance.
Opens quickly, easy to navigate, usefully and interesting content. One of my favorites. Well Done NCPR
Stops working all of the time and I have to press play again for livestream, drives me nuts. However it's the only local npr I have. So I tolerate it.

Lots of drop outs when streaming. Very frustrating

My home NPR station on the net! And I'm still stuck in Hot, Steamy Fl.when I should be back in Heuvelton. But I'm coming home in a few days, finally. I miss the founding mothers is my only selfish complaint.

Wonderful way to stay connected to our local community
I experience what other reviewers do-- the audio stream stops suddenly for no apparent reason even on a stable Wi-Fi link. Sometimes it comes right back, but usually you have to restart the app. I didn't think it would bother me that much before I started using it but it gets more annoying and frustrating the more I use it. I like ncpr programming. This app seems to be an npr app with a custom skin for different stations. Npr really needs to figure this out. Podcasts don't do this to listeners.
