With ND Filter Expert you can calculate the exposure time super fast and easy if you use ND Filter on your SLR camera.

That's not a problem. ND Filter Expert helps you get started in photography with ND Filters. The app provides comprehensive information and simple step-by-step instructions on what a Neutral Density Filter is and how to use it with your camera. In addition to the extensive tutorial, we offer you additional information and give you recommendations for suitable accessories. ND Expert offers you a complete package from start to finish for the use of ND filters.
Head calculation or writing?
Do you have all exposure times with ND Filter in your head or do you always have to write them down? That's over now. Save the calculated exposure time as a favorite and quickly access it again.
Problems measuring the exposure time?
Do you also never know when the calculated exposure time is over or do you have to have a stopwatch with you? ND Filter Expert has a built-in timer function that allows you to accurately measure times greater than three seconds. The app informs you with an alarm and vibration as soon as the timer has expired. In the settings you will find different types of tones and vibration schemes to choose from.
Can I combine filters?
Yes, of course, because ND Filter Expert gives you the ability to calculate the exposure time of up to five combined filters. For each filter you can choose from the total number of filters (ND1 - ND19) and combine them.

Best free ND app I've used. Ive tried several. Easy to use and straight forward. Easy to add / remove filters for when stacking. Wish it had the option to show the time in total seconds, instead of minutes and seconds so it would align to the bulb mode.
simple app but I why not allow manual input for the filter. Anyway it's a good app with timer, I do however prefer the Lee way of setting up as you can see relationships easier. Either way you can't go wrong here
nicely designed but i experienced 2 problems: 1. it only goes upto nd8192 13 stops. i use a 10 stop and 6 stop filter often so of little use 2. does not beep or vibrate after time compeleted even though both are enabled on samsung s9+ please fix. 20.5.2019 - 1.2.11L update fixes both issues for me. Thanx.
I've tried a number of filter exposure calculators and this is by far the best. Easy to use and the ability to stack filters is superb.
As soon as I installed the app, my galaxy s9 froze. Tried several times, had to uninstall it. Only app I have ever downloaded that has done this. For all the reviews, I find it amazing how bad this app is.

I was watching a video by Billy Kyle on PolarPro ND Filter calculator app walkthrough. This app is nothing like what he was showing. I bought this app for the Mavic Pro Zoom and was totally disappointed. I will simply take the loss.

Ummm. Why does doubling the iso double the shutter time?
You could include aperture setting with this app what if i want to use aperture on lets say f6.3 or f11.0 this all has tge effect of altering the time value
More flexible than other apps that I have tried. Still learning how to use properly.
The timer stops if I background the app and do something else with my phone.

As good as the Lee app. Whats not to like
Just downloaded the app. Looks good and easy to use. A good improvement would be to retain the last settings instead of going back to the default if you want to try a different filter or speed. Now updated, and keeps the last settings to adjust for the next shot 🙂. Now 5 star rating 🙂
