This would be an awesome app. The idea is there but the execution is sorely lacking.
I like it make life easier especially if you try finding interesting stuff.

This app is awful its called nea jobs yet every job offer i see is in another state and i cant figure out how to make it find jobs in my area. Horrible app.
What most people don't realize is, when asked to spread the word, there's actually a SKIP on the bottom right corner that will actually allow people to NOT SEND emails to everyone in your contacts list. Also, it would WONDERFUL if there was a distance converter to miles as well as a USD option for those of us living in the US. I understand that this app is still fairly new and hasn't gotten around yet, but everything I've seen has been either in Toronto or Ohio.
This app would be fantastic as it already has categories for things I do, however it is a major bummer that they only have support for Canadian Dollars. That tells me they don't currently have any advertising in the US to get people to use them here, which means I would never make any money. :-( Please expand to the US!
Sends emails to everyone on your contact list by default. I'd you don't want to look like a tool dont bother with this app.
Really wanted to try this app, but then I saw several reviews about how it auto texted everyone they knew with some "get this great app!" message. I don't want that to happen to my contacts, so I was afraid to open it, and I just uninstalled it immediately instead.
No listings close to me, denied the permission to access my contacts, and everyone on my contact list recieved an invitation to the app as if I sent it
The layout is nice but nothing is close to me, not even a major city (Cleveland, OH). Additionally, the postings are old, some from a year and a half ago.
The app auto emailed everyone on my contacts without asking me. I now know the 'continue' button on the share page emails everyone you know.
No jobs in a city of a million plus people.
Live in Alabama. But only lines up work from Cali. Oh and some foreign language places
This app is great, I am a highschool student and it lets me find jobs easily and apply effectively. This is great
This app will ask you to invite your friends (OK) but it will also by default select all of your contacts, so cheers for that I just sent about 300 texts telling them to get jobs walking a dog. Consider selecting NONE by default.
I've been waiting for a job like this. I'm from high school and this app provides me with ways to get money for working.
NearJobs is so easy to navigate and looks great, with a little more development and advertising it could get big along kijiji
