Nebula Connect

The latest updates renders the physical remote absolutely useless in Netflix. It doesn't work at all. Then what's the point of remote? Second, it takes forever for mobile app to connect to the projector. It keeps on saying connection failure. I've to clear there cache try 3-4 times wait 1-2 mins and then it connects. Please fix your bugs. Its annoying. Else I will return the projector. What is this. Basically if the app fails I can't even watch Netflix. Nor I can watch any other apps.

I want so much to love this thing but I hate it. nothing ever works properly. hardly ever connects right away. almost all the apps glitch or have things you can't click on. the machine itself is lacking huge things like an sd slot, dual Bluetooth, zoom focus, physical play/pause/seek buttons, USB port etc. as far as software there are just as many flaws. so many things lacking and no updates. at times I find myself wanting to throw it against the wall. save your money and wait a few years?

All I can watch is Netflix. I have a heap of movies on my phone and I can't watch them on my nebula. And the controller doesn't work properly. Can you make it so you can mirror your phone to the projector so you can access more than one app. Would really love to leave a better review but you can't access another on it.

No real functionality. Just a touch pad for dragging the cursor. So much potential to be like the roku app for controlling the projector and they just put out this extremely basic waste of memory. Anker has so much potential that they just waste.

Impossible to use my nebula with this app. It connects for about 2 seconds and then disconnects. Basically can't use any of the apps because it doesn't allow time to click anything or type anything

Wont connect after the update. Remote works badly on the Mars II. Stuck with volume on lowest level

I love the nebula capsule, but this app has the worst connectivity for Android devices. Every time I lock my screen or leave the app, I have to reinstall the app for it to connect to the nebula capsule. The iPhone version of the app doesn't have this issue, but as an android user, this app is unusable. Please fix this!

Projector is top notch quality.. this isn't. I can't connect to my solar projector at all. And it is infuriating because I want to watch Netflix.. YET I'm stuck on this app trying to connect.

I used my capsule a few days to watch movies. Then stored it carefully in the factory provided packaging. It never held a charge again. It won't come on even when plugged in, it always looks dead or pretends it's charging.

Very useful and delivers a far better experience than the remote. My only complaint is that when using the 'controller' function, I can navigate menus, but taps on the screen are not registered. This started a few months ago, possibly following an update? Tried clearing the cache & reinstalling, to no avail. This looks similar to what another user is experiencing on a Oneplus 6T. The 'mouse' function doesn't have this problem, with the screen tap working as intended... but I found the 'controller' one more intuitive, until it worked. This is on an Honor10. Any help would be appreciated!! EDIT: Works great as of the version 1.3.4!!

Appalling design and function. For such a great product, this apps functionality is terrible. It doesn't even pop up your keyboard when you click the search function. You have to use your phone like a mouse pad and select every letter individually. Terrible integration with Netflix, even though the app is there. No Kayo app either. Just an all round terrible app with extremely limited use. Needs a major overhaul immediately.

Love the hardware (the projectors themselves), but the remote app often requires multiple connection attempts to work. The newest version seems to work more reliably (as opposed to lots of difficulty six months ago and prior to that), but my troubles might be because I'm using a first generation capsule. Otherwise, the actual UI of the remote app meets expectations and is convenient to use for text entry and volume adjustments.

The hardware gets a 5/5. I couldn't be happier. (1 gen) The software is ALMOST where it needs to be. Pros: * love the option to go from mouse to control. Excellent idea. * The Android interface is great. I have only used Netflix and Youtube, but I am very happy so far. I look forward to downloading more apps Cons: * I loathe using the mouse to type logins, searches, passwords. If you add a keyboard option to the app, that would truly be helpful.

Fails to reconnect frequently. When it does, common functions do not work. For example, while I was able to use this app to get to the Netflix dashboard, I was unable to scroll and see any content using the app. Had to use the physical remote instead. Hopefully this gets fixed. It's a great projector!

Amazing..Nebula has great image quality and sound system is perfect for a 6x5 mtrs room. Great value for money.

The app is an excellent option if you dont want to use the remote control that comes with the product.

The ott apps are not worikg properly. Kindly send updates to nebula connect device

This software really sucks. Clunky, messy. Forces you to use AptoideTV, not all apps for video are available on the Google Play ripoff site. Suddenly getting network errors and can't download any apps. Did a factory reset and now I lost access to the apps like Netflix that I had before. The software is incredibly unstable and unreliable. Not to mention the controller is unstable. Great little device but the software is not worth the headache. You need to be technically savvy to navigate it.

The first version was great, but it's not as good any more after recent updates. A bunch of dumb issues: - if I turn my phone screen off, the video stops playing - the keyboard is no longer up to speed with the projector - it takes longer to connect and disconnects often

Joke's on me for having bought the nebula device and download the app.. Really, really not worth it.

I've had the Nebula Soundbar for over two years now and never once have they pushed an update. Kind of interesting.

Good features, terrible connection. I need to exit and reenter the app all the time. You got to fix this instead of asking anyone who complains to contact support. Besides, it doesn't work properly with netflix, which is by itself, an outdated app. Using latest firmware version of capsule one...

The app seems to have a really long delay vs what I see from the projector. Not very responsive. But more importantly - why is there still no Netflix support for the capsule projector? The sideload solution this app provides is tedious & requires full reconfiguration each time you want to use it.

What in the world is wrong with this app?! I'm about to return the whole projector. Did anyone test this app for usability? Why have an app if it doesn't work? I can not scroll through the Netflix titles. It sometimes scrolls, and most of the time doesn't. Really? Why doesn't the projector's remote work as a backup at least?

So far the app is pretty flawless. The scroll feature doesnt work on all apps which is annoying (Netflix being a main one). Aside from that its very convenient. One thing I wish it had was a short cut to the settings to set up bluetooth & other settings that require manual toggles.

The functionalities of this app need some work. It is difficult to change and select options while using my nebula projector, the app does not react well with the projector and is delayed. Many times it jumps around and does not follow through with actions such a clicking, volume up or down etc. Please fix !

Works ok on wifi. However, it can be impossible to connect when on a 3rd party wifi network ( like a hotel). Or, obviously it doesn't work at all when offline which to me is the primary use case of a portable projector. To make it valuable to me it needs to connect via bluetooth.

Purchased an oppo phone and works well better on newer phone than my old phone

Pretty useless and non-responsive. You have to drag the mouse around to type instead of letters coming up to make it easier. The tracking does not work because it is very delayed. The projector is fine but this app is complete garbage.
