Necronomicon

During a game, players take on the roles of investigators in an attempt to thwart the evil machinations of a sinister cult who have stolen the Necronomicon from Miskatonic Universities library, and have used it to open the gateway to another dimension.
The Necronomicon Horror combines the quick, addictive pace of fantasy card games, combined with the dice-rolling strategy of table-top role-playing games. You can win achievements in the game to unlock new bonus content, and there will be support for downloadable expansions in the future.

Grab your electric torches and revolvers! You'll take on the role of unlikely investigators swept up in a battle against cosmic horrors. With the help of allies, weapons, forbidden knowledge, strategy, and a few twists-of-fate, you'll attempt to stop the minions of Cthulhu from invading our world.

The Necronomicon Horror features over 100 beautifully designed cards
- created by a dream team of talented artists who have worked for some of the biggest movie, book publishing, and game studios in the world.

The Necronomicon Horror will contain the following key features:

- An evolving game setting based on the pulp horror fiction of H.P. Lovecraft.
- Hours of game play a different game and outcome every time you play.
- Outstanding artwork and production values. Play with a deck of over 100+ stunning cards.
- The fast-paced, addictive game play of RPG and Collectible Card Games, play on-the-go, anywhere!
- Free Bonus Content can be unlocked during the game. Expand your deck by winning new cards.

The Necronomicon Horror is a solo player adventure designed to be played in 20 to 40 minute sanity-bending intervals. During a typical game you'll play using an 100+ card deck, drawing various investigators, monsters, treasures, weapons, relics, pitfalls, story cards, and special ability cards, which are all scripted to interact with each other in strategic ways. Your goal is to keep your investigators alive to defeat a Monster invasion which threatens all of Arkham.

Like most trading card and role-playing games, the outcome is driven by an exciting interplay of chance, skill, and strategy.

It's a luck of the draw mixed with strategic placement type of game. Well done just wish there was more to it like quests or level progression.

This is a awesome card game! Im a huge Lovecraft Myhtos fan. Please make a printed version to go with my Fantasy Flight Games collection. I am not easy to please with card games but this is perfection!

It was good and fun at the begining.but after I learned how to play,I just keep winning with minimum challenge and its boring😕

This game is simple, that much is true. However, the way it works out is not quite so simple. The combined aspects of chance and strategy makes for an interesting play. High scores and achievements are rewarded with additional cards so you don't have to spend to win. Kudos to the dev team. Unlike any card game app I've found. \m/

Add for an app runs every time you open it, and you have to click yes/no, just in case you want to install random garbage on yr phone. I'll keep it on my phone for a bit too see if they fix it, but when I need space it's getting deleted.

Could be more streamlined. The graveyard area accumulates many cards if you play carefully, which then become tedious to sort through, as you have to move one card at a time between two piles. Achieving a high score means fiddling with your stack to play all possible cards at the end, even if you're ready to win.

I'm going to say it's okay since I've maybe not spent enough time with it to get the hang of it. I don't really understand how you're supposed to win. I mean I understand the victory condition. The problem is that you draw so many strong monsters, debuffs, and equipment cards. And you can't apply equipment to an investigator before you place them so once too many strong monsters have been drawn and placed it becomes impossible to win because all of the investigators are very weak without equipment cards and they simply cannot win against most monsters without them. It makes sense being based on the Cthulhu mythos but it doesn't make for fun gameplay.

Mechanic is well made and arts are pretty climatic. First few games are really difficult, but you'll eventually unlock few cards more, so later its a bit easier. Only downsides are lack of cards gallery and somehow chaotic tutorial.

Found this very addictive, great theme and graphics. Sadly I think I've got the hang of it now and the challenge is decreasing but I'll still keep it to play from time to time. One of the best games I've so far played on my mobile and a brilliant solitaire game 🙂

Well made. Little bit of figuring out to do, but once you get into it it's rather addictive. Developers one request, can you please allow for the high scores to be manually reseted? Also are more in app purchase card packs on the way and if not... can they be made in future updates? Love the game. Oh for those worried about ads... turn your data off before you start, no more ad's then, simple.

Great game once you get used to the mechanics. A great balance between luck and steategy with a truly Lovecraftian atmosphere. Only issue seems to be that newly unlocked cards and expansion kit don't seem to appear in the deck.

I love the game. Simple to begin with but interesting to work out strategies. Good graphics, nice soundtrack. Two things @ developper: give us the possibility to get rid of adds, I'd like even to pay to get lost of them. Really destroying the athmosphere! And 2nd: hurry with updates, we're longing for...

Great game, challenging, but worth persevering with. Love the Mythos and this really scratches the itch for games in this setting. Watched an ad, got the expansion for it. More than worth it. Thanks Devs, keep it up!

It's taking some time to understand and there is a slightly confusing over explained tutorial involved. But well worth playing.

Please fix the core expansion I like the game and downloaded it on two phones its not downloading on both phones with very good internet reseption.

Random generation makes the game interesting, but not impossible. I'd like to see some expansion, and a few new cards.

Phi. G. Oct 4, 2016

This game is not bad at all , great job all round , I would love to see more card packs in play and would be more than happy to pay for them.

Nic. W. Mar 30, 2017

So much potential! Love the Lovecraft theme and card artwork. Only criticism is complexity isn't really explained through the "how to play function". Maybe a tutorial? And stop crying about the ads. Remember, your playing this FOR FREE. They aren't that annoying.

And. M. P. Sep 8, 2018

The game does not offer enough ideas, story, or cards to be more than a one or two attempts CCG. The base idea is fine, but once more 'someone' is obviously too lazy to develop it into a full game. An ingame tutorial would benefit devices which do not get a manual.

Mas. M. Oct 16, 2017

Super fun. Takes a bit to get the hang of it, but outside of that small detail, it's really good.

Alb. H. Feb 26, 2017

Needs work. Combat system nonsensical, card functions unclear and inconsistent. Players forced to weaken their own position. Gameplay frustrating and tedious. Could be improved but writers need to work on flow and intuitive play.
