The app does not update the points automatically. It still shows the same points as when the greenbacks were transferred from the Nedbank Money App. Also, when I choose an affinity, it's says that I was successful but unfortunately, it's not updated. With regards to the coupons, I had used mine at Jet this month but it did not cancel off on the app, it shows that it is still available. I have queried directly via the app but have received no feedback.
My previous review was met with a generic copy and paste response. Just off the bat I log in to see that I need to add 1 more package to reach level 1 even though I'm subscribed to 2 packages already. The add more packages shows there are 4 levels but for months I'm greeted with the "you can only opt in for 1 package per month" there's no way to see the packages. What is level 3 and 4??? These are basic labels not being updated to reflect what data I stored on the app. Simple dev
Other than all the other complaints on these reviews, which I agree with. And the way AVO is being shoved down our throats, the main issue I am having now is not being able to login in because after accepting the updated terms and conditions, the app logs off automatically then the cycle continues.
Nothing wrong with the app. Does what it says, but Nedbank sent me an SMS this morning to say they had updated it with new features. I went in: no new features. There is a message in app to say update your app, went to the play store: no update since May. Either their communications department messed up and sent the message early, or their IT guys messed up and didn't post an update. Either way it was disappointing because these were new features I was excited for. Get it together Nedbank.
As a long time client (registered with a Nedbank profile), I have been once again underwhelmed by the lack of skill employed by your application design team. This time, I cannot log onto the Nedbank Greenbacks application, because the options available for forgotten credentials just do not work. I have already have a valid Nedbank online ID, so it's not a case of user error. Other bank applications can automatically sent secure OTP's to the registered cellphone. Pointless complaining.
Good Day I have been trying to log into this app since past year, keeps telling me something went wrong on 2 phones. Last year I called the bank and they said it was due to me having an old greenbacks account number. But almost a whole year has passed and no migration to a new account number. I have been losing out on the app. Please can you fix it.
I have taken this up further. The response was that they are migrating users to some new system hence the reason why I cannot login. I find it very difficult to believe that more than a year has gone by and yet I still cannot login to the app. They further stated that this was an automatic process and there is nothing they can do. If you give me your email address I will forward all previous correspondence to yourself.
Absolutely useless. I have never been able to log in. It keeps telling me to call the call centre and every time I do they can't help me. I have been trying for two weeks to get my greenbacks shop card activated but no one can help. They keep redirecting me to the app which I cant log into.
Utterly useless - you cannot buy a thing apart from electricity or data. You cannot register on the merchant store unless you fit into their categories and what I do is not listed. Signing into this app signed me out of the Money App, it has taken me 45 minutes to get back into all my banking profiles. Nedbank just cannot get their digital footprint right.
From an app perspective, its not bad. The program itself is terrible. After 10years using my card for many purchases, only have a lousy grand back in GB. The support to query why points are not allocated for many purchases are nonresponsive.
The app is good, however the login process is a bit frustrating. The option to use a pin or the fingerprint sensor would be a great addition.
After contacting the helpdesk they were extremely efficient and quick to solve the login problem on the new app. I have not used it much, but I appreciate the willingness to assist as quick as possible. Thanks.
it's a pretty standard app as it stands currently.futher enhancements might influence my rating in the future. personally I would prefer to have been able to access this content from within my Nedbank Money app.its easier n cleaner for me as a client to have had it centrally located rather then as a separate app

I had the same problem with my money app. It took them 4 weeks to sort that out now let's see what happens with this app. So frustrating. And now they have moved over to a so called better greenbacks platform and the app doesn't even work. What a waste of time.
During registration I had to take a guess by clicking the active register tab for email registration in order for me to register using my ID and Cell phone number. When I first logged in a screen was presented to me to change my Nedbank profile logins, I don't know why that's there as this app should not have functionalities of the money app nor should a user use their money app ID profile details to login. I had to logout and log back in to get the terms of use screen shown.
It has been almost 3 years now since they said they will migrate me from the old number to the new number that i can use the new greenbacks. Numerous calls and escaltions and just standard replies. How can I enjoy the benefits if I cant use the greenbacks new service. It cant take 3 years and going for a migration. Why dont you just close the old account and crrwate a new one and I can enjoy the benefits. Always stabdard useless response from Nedbank.
I have to agree that this App is USELESS, takes me to a blank screen. I have been trying all day. . Definitely closing this Credit Card account. All they do is Charge fees, even when you owe ZERO. . .
Unreliable. Unable to communicate with client. No feed back on issue. Still missing points earned. Unable to upgrade levels
Impossible to access. I've forgotten my username & password. The app takes me to a page where it requires my ID & cellphone number. I insert same & the app freezes at that point!!! Every time!!!
Old greenbacks had some ok deals ,but this new app is useless,and avo is worse! There is nothing to buy,just savings and hardly any decent worthwhile savings,what a waste of time.
Nothing to rate.. no action on this app.. I was requested to download the app the next thing you are experiencing a technical error.. am I paying for the download😔😔😔
Easy to use app, it gives you info with regard discounts, specials & promotions etc. Which makes it the best app to have on your phone to be the one to witness those deals🙌🙌🔥🔥. Now go to your ▶ store and give it a try 😉thank me later coz we see things differently 😎☺️.
Absolutely useless, I downloaded the app coz I wanted to see how many greenbacks I had. Upon loging in, my main money app's login details were reset. I've been trying to log in again and I can't. I have since uninstalled both app. I regret downloading this app seriously!!! I give this app no star.
Useless nonsense. You have a far way to go to your competitors! Tried to log in went to gibberish. Logged back in blank screen. Old app... Nothing worthy of wasting your time and energy on. One day maybe in 2022 this app would be where fnb been for the past 5years
This thing doesn't work, i tried the shopping feature . Placed an order and nothing happens. No points deducted. Levels are all disabled, i am mot even sure which level i am on. This thing is just a big confusion ya sphinya fela. I always knew this points thing was a scam.
Is this app broken? Have not been able to log in to it since downloading it. Keep getting "we can't log you in right now" msg. The call centre number is of no real help other than things i have tried already viz reinstalling the app again and restarting my phone (SamsungS10+). Is this app a scam? Please help
There's this function to move up levels... But it doesn't work. Tells me I can only opt in once a month, but the last time I did was since I originally downloaded months ago.
'we can't log you in right now', followed up with call center, app has known issues. I don't know why you release an app without properly testing and debugging.
It's a fantastic app to use! Makes everything easier to view and understand. Maybe also have the option for your finger sensor or app pin to log in. 🙂
I think it is way down the scale from the original Greenbacks programme. There seems to be no photographic options. On another sight there is a waterproof camera as an option, then when I click on that picture/icon, the camera disappears and there is no other indication that it might come back at some point. I just find this app to be basically useless for my needs and I want to spend my Greenback points. What to do?
