Nedis SmartLife

It works, but not great. The smart scenes are not working consistently, which is really annoying. Sometimes a plug will be offline even if it's right next to the router.. In other words, you can't trust this system fully the way it's right now. Also: The weather service they use is really inaccurate compared to all the other ones. Should be option to change that.

Support is inexistent for this app. Don't bother filling up categories, describing issues, sending feedback, feature requests or screenshots. Everything gets automatic reply to visit the website where there is no support section. Otherwise the app is ok. Edit: there are bugs in the app. 'Smart' scenes have bugs. My heaters stay on even if the scene asks them to turn off.

Awesome! Except: Apparently it can't run in landscape! It can't run on a PC without an emulator in my case Android emulator! Other than that it works fine! For the moment I only have a smart plug, with power meter! Only drawback move it form one wall socket to the next. If it takes too long all settings are lost and you have to reconfigure it all! Kind of annoying detail!

Doesn't work for me at all. Took me a lot of tries to get anywhere, now the device is connected to my WiFi but still isn't visible in the app, but at least its WiFi indicator stopped flashing - that was getting annoying. Can't recommend the app - the heater itself is good, although instead of being a "smart" device, it's dumb as a brick.

Good App overall would like to suggest one thing. The shutters wall switch should have a timed feature to open/close a certain amount of seconds and then pause automatically. Some shutters are old and leaving them all day in open or close position may damage them. Also the schedule will help partially opening shutters and close them at night.

Apps a mess, nothing is explained, things activate or don't based on their whimsy, wanted to get some smart stuff to save some money on heating and such, but I'm not sure it succeeded... If you can afford to get something of slightly higher quality I'd recommend that. Also I've got feedback still pending for respons that I submitted in January, it's mid may, and it's supposedly not been read by anyone... (Don't really know why my feedback needs to be logged for me, but it is)

Dear Support, I bought yesterday a smart plug (WIFIP130FWT). I can't add it to the devices in the app. I tried the troubleshooting steps from the manual and webpage without luck. I use android 8 but I tested with 7 too. I tried to restart the router, force to 2,4Ghz only, encription AES only, then I tried without password security enabled. The timer stops after 100 seconds and says failed to add. I start adding when the green led is blinking fast. It seems to fetch the Wifi credentials because the blinking stops and lights up continiously. In the list of connected devices I can't see on the routers GUI. Please help. Silly smart plug. Connecting the plug was relatively easy and it acts as a remote switch. Unfortunately that is all; no voltage nor consumption measurement displayed on the app. Proposed solution is contact Nedis. Why would I buy a smart plug that acts as a regular programmable plug? They were invented 40 years ago, are cheaper and do the same.

Sockets work great but camera is beyond terrible. Regularly won't connect even with 88% connection strength. 5 sec delay on picture and movement of camera is spotty and slow to react. Picture quality is also not great.

Generally very good, can't figure out how to change email address for my profile. Works very essily for sockets, but for bulbs I've found I had to connect to the devices directly first to set them up. Works nicely with Google Home as well although the Nedis app has more functionality. Very impressed with some of the newer changes such as offsets for minutes before/after sunrise/sunset etc. App keeps getting better and I'm itching to buy more Nedis smart devices.

Quantity over quality. Everything seems a bit rushed. Tons of things need polishing. It seems nedis is not motivated to fix any of the problems or even answer any emails because there is basically no other competitor that has as many products. So if you only want smart lights do not buy nedis.

Installed, several attempts before managing to connect bulbs. After connecting 4, and added to a group, how to dim, turn on of and change color temp simultaneously on all 4? App not intuitive, boring and light ui. Dark mode?when make schefo, you have to make 2 separate scenes one for turning on, and one for turn off. Why don't have on off choice in the same window.

It seems like a pretty decent control centre. Unfortunately, the bulb I'm trying to set up keeps on stalling, and I have to reinstall it every time.

They haven't implemented a delay on the motion sensor. It's just on/off. If I use it on the garage light, the light turns it self on/off constantly. It should be a 1 to 30 min option to delay the switch. I will give five stars if you fix this.

What a terrible experience. None of my Nedis "smart" plug I bought for this app work. Keeps telling me failed to connect. I have 3 other brands of smart home devices and the work perfect. I'll be returning their products and remove this garbage app from my phone.

I have a set of scales and have set them up (eventually) using my smart phone as no good for Mac. Scales recognised but when turned on and indicators shows 0.00 on the scales - nothing happens - I must weigh zero ? tried so many times and never got any use from the scales and no help from manufacturers who just say down load app. Really is a waist of money buying scales - totally useless . Deserves zero stars but have to put at least one ?

EZ mode works, if I have a router nearby. AP mode IS NOT WORKING: I make a direct connection to the bulb, and amidst the pairing process, either my phone or the app disconnects from it, thus ensuring the pairing will always fail!

I am unable to add a smart plug. I enter SSID and password and click next. Nothing is happening. The "next" button is not active. I have been trying different manufacturers and this is the only app which is having problems to run. Fail. PS. I am a programmer and electrical engineer, so I know what I am doing.

Poor. Buggy, unreliable. Just keep getting network error after all the lights stopped working and am in a loop now of not being able to check or reset a password perhaps because a server has failed or something but it's all getting binned.

Worst then useless, spent an age trying to set it up and I'm fairly familiar with 'smart' tech. Make sure you can return it to supplier before/if you buy...better to wait until Google bring out a smartplug with decent software.

Schedule for smart plugs stopped working after latest update. Watering of flowers on my balcony was attached to the plugs. After one month of being away all flowers on the balcony were ruined. Unreliable!!!

The hundredth time is the charm, just keep trying for a weekend and it juust might connect. After that it's alright. At least with their smart ir remote.

Saved me allot of trips from the couch, but the app would be even greater, if the buttonlayout was customizable, so you had all the button's in the first screen 😄
