New VISA credit mobile interface is even clunkier than the old one. Stuck transactions, saved payment methods forgotten. NEFCU used to be a leader in online banking. Please do better!
Very convenient and practical. Many subtle but effective improvements over the years, adding fingerprint log-in, one-touch log-out, better cheque photography for remote deposit, and faster screen responses. Clear page layouts with no blah-blah-blah 'did you know?' inserts or adverts. One of the best financial sites out there.
App freezes when mobile deposit is attempted, saying something like "Almost there: Make sure the images on both sides of the check are legible". But the screen freezes. After "force stopping" the app on about 4 attempts and attempting the deposit again, it finally worked. I was only trying to deposit a $10 check. I feel like I should send the developer a bill for $100 for my aggravation in trying to get their stupid, clunky app to work. You broke it, dummies.
Camera has a few bugs. Pictures can be tricky. Otherwise. This Is a very useful and intuitive app.
Easier this time. Whenever I have tried in the past, it frustrated me to the point that I sent the check via US Mail.
bill payments should remain on a list so that user can check off when they are paid. as it currently stands, a bill will go out for payment, and the user has no record of that payment until it is withdrawn from the account, thereby risking overdrafts unless a separate list is maintained. it would be so useful to be able to remove scheduled payments from the list manually, not when they go out for payment. this would close a large gap in the app!! Update 5/25 same as ever. Oh well.
Great companion app for NEFCU accounts. We'll designed--visually and intuitively.
I've used other bank apps (via my wife) and they can't hold a candle to the ease of use and functionality this app provides. Their staff continue to update to provide stable and useful additions, haven't seen an update yet just to mess with (and probably wreck) the UI. Keep up the great work!
Check deposit could be much better. I usually get light pink checks. They must not photograph well. Never had a successful transaction. My phone is 8mp and it comes out like a shot worse than an 1850s box camera. Otherwise the app is fine.
I had to draw a line with a black pen around the edges of the front of the check to get it to accept the picture for check deposit. It used to accept checks for human review if it was confused. One month later: now it's gone to auto-capture instead of me triggering the picture-taking. It took over 20 tries to get it right, even when the check image was perfectly aligned and totally clear
App is responsive, stable, and easy to navigate. It supports fingerprint login. Overall I think it might be the best mobile banking I've ever experienced.
It basically works, but taking pictures of checks in order to deposit them can be a pain.
I really like the NEFCU mobile app. I use it regularly to check balances, deposit checks, make payments. It's easy to navigate and not cumbersome like too many similar apps.
The only thing I can't do from my recliner is pull out cash. It has made retirement banking so easy.
I have been a member of NEFCU for years and I have never experienced one situation where things were not made as simple, clear and smooth for me as possible. Reps in person and on the phone are always personable and professional. I didn't give them up, even when I moved out of state! Thank you NEFCU! Keep up the good work...
Very easy to use, fully functional, banking app. I love it! I've been a member for over 20 years with NEFCU and never want to leave, this app let's me fulfill all of the banking needs I have even though I've recently moved to CT. Definitely recommend getting and using this app if you are a member.
Does everything the laptop does. Can't go wrong with the Credit Union's great service.
Pleasant, easy, convenient. On an occasion, the app has failed to connect to the server, but thats happened maybe 3 times in 6 years.
This app is reliable and continues to work smoothly if any problems do occur calling the bank and talking to a representative they're able to walk you through any problems you have all in all it's an amazing app and works great
I like this app, but you really need to add back the option to transfer money to another NEFCU member.

great app. the mobile deposit auto check recognition really helps with keeping the camera steady so you don't have to shift your grip to hit the button.
Love the new Check Deposit feature that does a self count down to automatically take the picture of front and back of the check. VERY NICE !!!!
Wonderful Bank App! This app is reliable and runs very smoothly. I love that it has mobile Deposit and that I can make transfers within my NEFCU accounts that happen immediately. Love this app!
Very convenient, especially during the COVID shutdowns. My only note is that it's difficult to deposit a check with a perforation at the top. The app rejects it. Update 3-24-22 Now that I'm more accustomed to this app, I like it even more. I'm also having fewer problems taking pictures of the checks. Either you worked on it, or I got better at it.
