The day after I installed this app I started getting daily spam texts/calls. From 'Vern, your Neighbor app Success Specialist'. I never authorized my number to be used in this way! They mention 'we don't share your number until a reservation is authorized/approved'. But they leave out that they're going to be spamming you every day at your phone number.

I downloaded the app but did not complete it, then they started calling me while I was at work. I told them to call back later they never did. I finally took the pictures and posted them. I have a huge grass field with security cameras and a locked gate I thought why not try to make a little money. Well I am not comfortable giving out my bank routing number account number and Social security number to someplace in the Phillipines that manage this app. I can just post on Facebook to rent it out.

Neighbor sends out "fake" requests for storage to make users think there is demand for their storage space. Signed up but did not completely finish process. Got a couple phone calls from Neighbor pushing to finish set up. Did not finish set up. Immediately after got several requests from what are supposed to be viewed as legitimate users requesting to use your space but really it's just Neighbor sending them out to get you excited enough to finish set up. Any company doing this is a total scam!

Spent almost 2 hours setting up a listing only for them to deny it! I adjusted it and they denied again for another reason! I fixed that and resubmitted and guess what happened?! DENIED! Worst part is they dont tell you the exact reason can only schedule a time to talk to c.s! Wasted 3 hours total 4 nothing! BYE!!!

I found a two car garage it was listed for a reasonable price it was clean private and just what I wanted. I contacted the host and he told me it was The loft in the garage he added $50 more to the price he did not show The loft so I turned it down I wished he would have been more honest with me

The app is great.. having to wait 30 days to get paid is not great and was a deal breaker for me. Best of luck to those that can afford a month to get paid.

I'm new to this app, but aim to provide a safe location to store what ever is needed. come check out the location after contacting and setting up appointment.

Good Experience There were some bumps in the road but all was good in the end. I'm making 2,200 from one location a month with this app. BUT....I do wish Neighbor would do 2 of the following to build more trust. 1: Create more advertising. Many people who I have referred Neighbor never heard of it, thus, they walk away. 2. Stop hiding behind screens by trying to solve problems with text. Cater to those who prefer to call right away for questions and emergency.

read the reviews after i downloaded this app. realizing that all the responses from the Devs are generic responses... is obvious what is going on here!!! so NO THANKS! im sure there is a more secure, caring app out there! jus not this one!<

Haven't been happy with the quality of listings and hosts. Have sent six messages to different hosts about their listings and only one has responded (and even then dropped off). Don't know what I have to do to connect with a host and see their spot before reserving.

I thought this would be great. But I kept receiving messages to either live out of my driveway or make my driveway bigger. There's not a lot of management or review...and they post your phone number for everyone to see instead of encouraging comminication through the app...Despite their response, they require your phone number to sign up and your phone number WILL be posted (believe me, i tried to remove it).

*SCAM WARNING* I have had 6 total inquiries about my space and only ONE has been a legitimate human since starting this last month. The other 5 have been scammers running the same scam scheme. They ask about your space, offer three months in advance, then ask for all your personal information to then send the payment through certified check. They ask for your email, phone number, bank you use, etc. Developers need to fix this so the scammers cannot use their platform.

Let me try to be confidential. In Phx, Arizona, I've been renting my carport to a guy who bounces back and forth to Colorado. The goal is to keep the price CHEAPER than regular storage rates. Had a consistent deal at $50/month, pays off my streaming channels. $450 total earnings. If you got a lot of space, you got a lot of passive income potential. On forums, I see that less populated spots have trouble getting booked. Be their best logical value. Good luck to you.

This app is a complete SCAM. In the two weeks I have joined all 5 of the potential renters have tried to convince me to arrange renting my space thru cash app, and I reached out to customer support no one ever respond back. For some reason people are reaching out to me asking if they can use it as a body shop!! WTH, That's not what it's for.

This app has scammers and the app it self might be. I reserved a storage but never got a hold of the host . I still never got my refund and on top of that they charge me for a 25 dollar late fee. Not to mention I had to pay 400 bucks on uhaul waiting around and trying to get new storage. I ended up getting a new and regular one. Plus I don't have a storage with them and they continue to try to charge me. Night mare trying to get in contact with a real person. Wrote emails and called non stop

This site is a scam. Customer service number appears a potential scam when they call you. People that look for storage will send you checks that are fake, ask for Apple gift cards, and then you will be out the money. I did not fall for it but almost did. ***DO NOT USE THIS APP***

Immediately after signing up for this app with my phone number I started receiving a huge spike in spam robo calls to my cell phone.

need space for pricing when different things are offered like my pricing is between 80-300$ depending what is needed an that was not available

Host by Ann Arbor, uninstalled after a month. ALL SCAMMERS 100%. Unlike other sites-THERE IS NO WAY TO BLOCK THEM! Keep harassing, asking for email & phone # "make communication easier." Rent out garage 6 months pay by "work cheque," "business account," "out on holiday." ALL SCAMS. Told CS, said flag, I did, means nothing, keep bothering, 24/7, CS says you didnt answer Scammers FAST enough! Read reviews. THEIR INSURANCE COVERAGE IS FAKE-THEY DO NOT HONOR CLAIMS. Rented garage out on CL=No Fees. And their response here? I already said I reported the Scammers - nothing was done, they bothered me over and over, as I said in my Review.

Application needs simple improvements. Also needs more people using it.

Neighbor is a awesome app. It's nice that you can earn money on the side without even having to do anything.

lots of kids but they're nice, and sometimes they bring free cheeseburgers.

No traffic on this app, waste time setting up listings, still no customers. It says 50k downloads no wonder. This company does no advertising and the app is kinda goofy. More traffic from Craigslist.

Generally pretty good. Today I received a request from a prospective renter and the system wouldn't let me approve it. I have a ticket open with support.

Great idea. In a few steps you can setup your garage share. Unfortunately only working in north America, for the moment.

Well I just started using the app. I am clueless as to figure out how to find renters. Also I noticed that there is a lot of complaints about no being able to contact someone if there's any issues so can I ask to work for you guys to be that someone to talk to costumers and try to help make this a better app?

Ads very misleading-Exp: ad states large lot for x amount, then when you contact, amount is for ONE car, even though 3 may fit in that space. Was renting large lot and was told I had to vacate. This only happened after the owner figured out that I had a male partner. He "said" it was because he was building a structure. None of the other renters had to leave and my space was rapidly filled. I called customer service and wrote long email to Neighbor. So far no response and I have been blocked.

I love neighbors too great way to make some passive income on some unused spaces

i was pretty excited to try this site but people are charging the same amount as public storage when its its not nearly as easily accessible. worse, i clicked on many that said one price a month, but when you click to reserve its twice the amount. there needs to be a better settup. something more secure and settup like airbnb. i will change my review when people are a bit more reasonable and app doesnt allow for extreme price changes.
