Neighbors Mobile Banking

This is a terrible app. It's unreliable and unresponsive. It has errors every single time I attempt to use it. I can only access my account about half the time, regardless of how strong my connection is. And you can forget about trying to look through old transactions. If the app worked the way it's supposed to, it would be a solid 3- to 4-star banking app. I guess being a local credit union rather than a huge banking institution doesn't allow Neighbors to create a reliable functioning app.

Feels like it was pushed to production way too early. The UI looks nicer, but does have some quirks (see other reviews). From a functionality standpoint on my Samsung S10+: things are 2-3 times slower vs the older app, takes more clicks now, fingerprint registration never works, using the login normally prompts to do a 2FA (two-factor authentication) with my cell. 2FA is nice, but I would like the option to join in, instead of being forced. Especially since my phone # wasn't right at first.

To me, nothing us better than opening my account information on my computer, but I enjoy the remote check deposit feature and the ease of making quick transfers from my phone. The updated version of the remote check deposit doesn't auto capture pictures of the check, which is what I liked about the original version.

Second best banking experience I have ever had, behind USAA. But the benefit is access to your money quickly and securely after opening an account, unlike Capital One and Hancock Whitney. The app is intuitive but feels clunky like an excel document.

This app is absolutely terrible. I can never check my balance because it's always "experiencing intermittent connection issues". I have tried deleting and re-installing it again and it still doesn't work. Neighbors needs to fix this issue because it occurs way too much.

I was hoping things would get better when they moved to a new tech company to run their app and upgrade their software, but it's just worse. Don't try checking your balance and night because it's not going to work but 10% of the time. Website reliability it's a while lot better.

Great app! However it fails to show due dates for payments to credit card accounts. Adding this feature would make life so much easier. App currently only shows the balance due on autos. Balance updates when making transfers between accounts has huge time-lags.

Appearance not as comfortable as older version. Worst thing is I can't see what I am typing in "transfer amount" until I am done and close the keyboard. Good thing is reminder about excess transfer fee but you should list the amount as well as we all know cu's can change charges to customers without informing them.

Functional but sometimes unreliable. There have been several times when a "Unable to access your information at this time" message appears for several hours. However, the app is constantly improving as is all services at this financial institution.

The app won't allow me to input my login information. It's all gray, and none of the icons work. The only information I get from the app, is if I hit the back button it will close the application. I have tried to install twice. Also I am using a Samsung S10 with up to date software.

The update has been a nightmare and I hate it. The old app was more convenient even going to the website I cannot get into my e-statements. Considering changing Banks January 5th 2021. Still terrible wouldn't let me make a transfer because I had a comment listed in the description. Kept saying error. Had to make the transfer without the description. This is a terrible app

I love Neighbors but this update for this app is terrible. I try to log on and it won't let me. It's telling me invalid username or password, all is right. So, I can't access my account. I hope some of the issues are being fixed and that's why I can't access my account. I've been with Neighbors since 1996. Please get these issues corrected.

This app is extremely frustrating. After I scan my fingerprint, it asks me for my password THREE different times! This is ridiculously absurd. It's quite cumbersome, and it has been a problem for quite some time. PLEASE fix this!

There is an option to deposit checks however the feature doesn't actually work. Also, unlike other bank apps, this one does not allow you to transfer to someone else's account that may also bank with neighbors.

Been with neighbors for years and this app pails to meet standards. picks random times to not sign in. and load times are ridiculous. the UI is something from 2001 it's old and dosent do half what it could.

The app won't even open on my phone anymore. When it did it needed a texted security code every single time I logged in. It's making me consider switching banks. Extremely inconvenient and fussy.

This app is so limited. I can't look up old transactions or make my credit card payment. There are errors half the time. It just can't do what it should be able to do and I hate it

BUGSSSS! The main issue is the same others mention about not being able to validate you and ultimately not letting you log in. The other issue is ever since Zelle has been supposedly added to the app, I am unable to use my Zelle account linked with my account PERIOD. My Zelle app forces me to this app and I am ASSUMING (bc the sh** doesn't work) that the payment/transfer area is where it would be located. This area in the app says the payment is down since the partnership w Zelle.

When it works, it's just fine. The problem is, it doesn't work way way too much. Wont load, wont let you sign in, just will not do a thing. Usually fixed and running within the same day, but if it's your only bank, it's a problem.

I really enjoy the app. I'ts very easy to use and extremely convenient. I like the ability to lock a card and deposit checks right from my phone

This is a very convenient app. to use and I love the mobile deposit. I can just deposit a check from my phone with out the inconveniences of waiting in bank lines.

I like the app; the only thing is I don't understand why a separate is used to unlock/lock my card. With Capital One, it's all done within one app.

I had issues with the biometric login registration for my phone, come to find out it was because of the password I was using. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Who knew! Note to the developer, you may want to check on this issue.

The app is very limited and is non operational a lot on weekends. No alerts on payment due for loans and purchases either. Its not good as a primary account and thats why I use Chase for my business and investing.
