NeoPixControl

If you have Neopixel stripes or shields from Adafruit you can control them with an Arduino Mega. With this App you now can control them from your android device with Wifi or Ethernet. You can set all Neopixel LEDs to one color or a colorgradient (select HSV, rHSV or RGB gradient). You can even design your own color pattern and transfer it to the Neopixel stripe. Then cou can applay effects to the pattern: cou can start it movin on the stripe or make it change colors and brightness. You can save and load patterns.
Then, you can set the whole stripe moving, forward, backward or alternating. Or you can make it change color or brightness, speed adjustable.

You can record sequences of commands, save and reload them, and play them back
- fast or in real time. Command sequences can be repeated automaically.

This application is not endorsed or supported by Adafruit, the term NeoPixels used with permission from Adafruit.

This is a beta, the development continues and I plan more features for the future. If you have suggestions or bug reports, please mail them to [email protected]

Please note that you need additional hardware to use this app: You need an Arduino Mega, Neopixels, a Wifi shield or some other shield for communication between the App and the Arduino. And you should have some knowledge how to use the Arduino IDE to transfer an Arduino programm (called sketch) to the Arduino. You will find the sketch and further instructions at www.aschenbrenner.com/en/neopixcontrol.

Please note further, that the app and the Arduino are not synchronozed. That means, the app knows nothing about what's going on on the Arduino, what patterns are being shown, what effects are active and so on.

This app needs bluetooth support and web link no work. Not popular.

There are very few apps for Adafruit Neopixels, but this one is by far the best. No other app comes even close to this multitude of effects, gradients and patterns—you can design them down to the pixel level if you want. OK, the pattern editor is very simple, but at least I got one. I spent hours playing with my Neopixels and this app. Fortunately it is possible to save patterns so I can reuse them later. Not perfect, but still the best. Highly recommended.
