The primary objective of NEA is to generate, transmit and distribute adequate, reliable and affordable power by planning, constructing, operating and maintaining all generation, transmission and distribution facilities in Nepal's power system both interconnected and isolated.

Responsibilities
In addition to achieving above primary objective, NEA's major responsibilities are:
a. To recommend to Government of Nepal, long and short- term plans and policies in the power sector.
b. To recommend, determine and realize tariff structure for electricity consumption with prior approval of Government of Nepal.
c. To arrange for training and study so as to produce skilled manpower in generation, transmission, distribution and other sectors.

Looks like the app was launched without doing any quality check. Too many issues with the seld meter reading functionality. An app that is supposed to help not hundreds but millions out there, is not working properly. Whoever is concerned need to make corrections immediately. The issue was there when checked more than a month ago and it still exists.
I suggest no one to set meter reading from this app. I set number for my meter and bill showed higher amount than it should. I had to call nea to fix the issue next day.And they passed the call from one person to another whole day. It took my entire day to fix the meter reading for the issue in their app.The app created more hastle than providing facility.
There is no synchronisation between NEA bill payment databases to central database. Although the bill has been paid, this app shows months old records without update. The features are so disorganized and full of errors.
The result of Bill payment enquiry appear so small like it is some bacteria . You have to use microscope to see content. Worse app. It become useless after latest update . Plz fix this problem in app. The content can't be zoomed.
I will built my own app for calculating the bill. This is useless when you cannot calculate bill amount from the meter reading with option 1phase ,3 phas and inside them number in meter and generate total bill .....I hope u got it .get out
If there will be register (either from mob no or email id) and person can check their electricity bill on the same time when it is generated which is happening especially in banking sector that will be more helpful rather than waiting for meter reading. Because meter reading date mention 8, but concern will upload on the web either 16 or 17 that happen to me last month and cause I miss to get 2 % rebate. Understand this will costly and need more modification in apps. But more profit will come to NEA.
Please release an app only after you've fully tested it. There is no proper login page. No way to choose feeder. Everything from design to functionality to usability is sub par for an organization like NEA. Please update the app soon. It's better to not release anything than to release an unfinished excuse of an app.
Useless..doesn't allow me to change my passwords..it says records don't match, even though the entered records are correct
Wrost and very bad app this app can't search DCS and not registering new account and other many problems so I had unistall this wrost app I think it was launched by a team of donkey without self testing
No error message. If there is an error while filling up a form, the user is supposed to get a message for him/her to know. Validation for most of the forms is very weak.
Still no gallery option to put image taken from the camera previously and second issue is about the latest meter reading number,it says below than previous reading. Is it some issue from your side or from mine..But listening issue and working for betterment..i give u 3 star
Even after latest update there is problem in reading meter. Chanauli DC is not in the list. Even previous registered consumers list also not visible. Fix this bug asap.
Can't see my meter reading. It says not available after providing all the data. Why are you releasing the app when you are not sure about app's functionality?
It doesn't work. While i put the current reading it says it doesn't match with previous reading.what does it mean. Then it asks image.while putting image again says unverified. What does it mean? I think this apps doesn't work.
I had added by sc no and consumers no but it is not display for meter reading. Its on latest application after update. I had added again it says it is already exist but can't see for meter reading..
More need to do. Password recovery is not available. Self meter reading is not accepting though it is already read by their staff. Should accept all nepal bank rather than few bank posted on their web for paying. Though payment from various bank can accept but in NEA web few bank logo r available
What happened Self meter reading feature in this app?? I sent picture of meter from web and still cannot find my bill amount. Get up NEA !! No more sleeping.
worse app ever try..... if you can't fixed the issue regarding this app then its waste of time for consumers to try this app and try to pay the amount that is on the meter. just waste of money to built this app and they dont bother to check that this app is working properly as said...🙏🙏🙏 Jay Nepal!!!!!
Seems to be very poor. No use, it's worthless to install. If you want to have mobile app installed and give service to people, plz make good improvements.
Poorly developed app, doesn't even launch. App crashed on first click. Hope fixed this problem ASAP.
Very very poor, needs huge improvement, it still shows pending although the bill has been paid. It is still showing verification pending of bhadra meanwhile it is Karthik
self meter reading not working . month not selectable and the payment. done through cash should also be updated
Should show all the details of our payment for at least a previous fiscal year . Self reading error while posting from camera.
It seems Nepal Electricity Authority released must needed app for people. But It need a lot of improvements as i see. I hope improvements in near future. Good Luck NEA TEAM.
Sorry, reading date has not been reached. Then why it is showing to enter number in nea mobile app.
when choosing the feeder the app crashes automatically.please release a stable version and why DOB in needed to login the page??
Need lot of maintenance. Selfmeter reading not working. Statement not generating. Etc. Update soon!
