Nertz Solitaire: Pounce the Card Game

Good, but not for beginners. The easy level is as hard as the Medium level. Makes it harder to learn. Once learned can be fun, except the part where the computer is already playing the card after what you are in the process of putting down at times leaving you no chance to follow-up with the next card you have. Still fun!

Overall the game is functional enough to be playable, but there are certainly issues. The snap-to sort of function is extremely lacking in that it's difficult to get cards to go where you want them to and you have to be more precise than is easily possible on a small surface like a phone. Cards will also randomly stick in the middle of no where instead of drop and I've even had cards go to an opponent's hand. Like I said, it's playable and fun, but needs work.

Computer cheats...a lot! ie: I have an ace. Before I have finished setting my ace on the table, the computer has a 2 down. Tested multiple times. As soon as I would touch a "potential card" the computer could have the next card ready and I didnt even have to drag it. I did not get to change my mind. No room for strategy. Very frustrating in a speed type game. Also it 4 players. No options to do 2. All the settings are very unfinished. Coding numbers everywhere. Needs to be cleaned up.

Great game and I love that the ads don't take very long and don't interrupt the game play. The only frustrating thing is that sometimes when you throw a card in the middle, it glitches and freezes. Then, by the time you swipe your card again to try and play it, someone else has beat you to it. Maddening. Other than that, it's great!

Games is good. Some things handle a bit slow and feel weird and sometimes cards dont set down properly. Had one glitch where i set down a card in the center and it got pulled into one of the computers hands. The deck shuffle button sometimes wont appear even if there is nothing you can do with your hand. Sometimes the computers react unrealistically fast after you set down a card in the center. In all still fun game to play.

fun game, functions SUCK the cards don't snap into the decks. the gameplay controls just feels so annoying. idk why they don't just fix it somehow. also the shuffle function needs to be overhauled, I'm literally sitting there forever waiting for it to pop up just waiting on the computers to move the game forward.

Absolutely love the game Nertz (or as my boyfriend's family calls it, Demon). My boyfriend's family showed it to me when we first started dating, I could not get enough if it, so I downloaded this and WOW. My skills went through the roof! The next time I played with them, I wiped the floor with all of them and they we all so curious as to how I got so good so fast. This app is really fun and addicting. There are some glitches and the adds can be annoying, but definitely recommended.

Would give it 5 stars if they made it possible to play against your real friends not just bots. Other than not being able to play against friends, it has a great lay out and easy to play and see. I love that you can see other players cards.

Got to a point where no one was done but no one could play, everyone was stuck, and the computers are just randomly going through the decks over and over again forever. This is likely the last hand of the game and I can't even finish it.

Can't edit my rating. But wanted to add: This give the feel of playing it with friends. My mom taught my sibling this game as kids. I was doubtful they could replicate the rush and frustration that come with playing with people. But they succeeded in that respect. You have to get the cards close to where they go before they snap in place. That is just like trying to play a card at the same time as a live person and they beat you. This is not a game to relax with, it will challenge you!

No option to pick the number of players. It's always 4 players (yourself and 3 bots). I'd like to play against just 1 bot. Since dragging can be tricky, it would be nice if clicking a card would play it in the lake / score a point area. All the avatar icons are male, and not all in the list are selectable.

I am in my early 40's and my BFF taught me this game before it was popular 20 years ago. I couldn't find it in stores. However, I managed to find something like it for the PC, but you played with squirrels. Now you can buy a set of 6 or 12 decks of cards in a box that has directions. On this game you're able to move the top card of the stack and move it into another card without having an open spot to move to. That's my only issue, is moving off your stack because it'll play on the row.

Thanks for making this an app so I can practice. Buggy though. Opponents cards start on the field at the beginning and the input does not register every time when moving cards.

Fantastic adaptation of Peanuts!!! (Always love playing this game in real life but rarely can find enough people to play it.) Four different skill levels, impressive gameplay and layout. Very addictive... you've been warned. Great way to keep your mind sharp!

Love it and spend way too much time playing. Played the card game for decades. Compete with myself to keep my winning percentages up and would be fun to compare to others. I'm at 89% for easy, 82 for medium, 72 for good and 58 for crazy. 5 stars for sure.

The swiping action of the cards can be slightly temperamental, so it takes a few rounds to get used to how the cards move. But after that, it's a great game. The difficulty levels are true to life.

I love playing this game! It keeps me in good practice for playing with friends. Although, the animation for placing cards could be better, and I really wish this had a pause button.

I used to love this game. The motions have gotten a little rough. Used to be able to drag a card near the desired pile and it would select it. Now it feels clumsy, the dragged card doesnt seem to know to attach to the pile if youre not 100% on top of it.

Great game, love the play of it and all, but it KILLS my battery. One match (typically 4-6 rounds) will drain at least 10 percent of my charge, and no other app does that. Optimization please!

Great game. Needs better card control. Sometimes when I drag a card to drop it doesn't drop it and sends it back to my stack. Could also have some better graphics.

I kinnda wish I was playing with eal people and not AIs but because I don't have data I am glad it doesn't require internet. It's kinda hard to get used to it and it's hard to place everything at first but it's really fun once you get the hang of it. I'm excited to play nertz again irl and be way better than everyone else 😈

Super fun to play but glitches when I drag a card across the board. The card kind of jumps backward. Would like this glitch to be fixed and then it would be perfect.

Takes two or three times at moving a card for it to stay in place therefore computer players get there cards in before mine can be placed, otherwise game is set up well. Fix the card placement and this game would be a lot better.

I still love this game, but the recent update bothers me. The card movement is no longer smooth, but is jerky. I tried to uninstall the update, but it uninstalled the whole game. Please fix the jerky card placement. Thanks

I really like this game. It's an old fave childhood game so it's great to play it online now, I miss the feel of real cards though, sitting around the table with my family.

Frustrated - got a new Pixel 6 pro and the cards are so close to the edge the game closes. Android 12.. but the beveled edge of the phone (when you slide left to right will close the window you are looking at).

Very good, but buggy. If I throw a card too far to the right, that player takes the card. Also, sometimes cards I throw don't get accepted by the pile, even with no other cards competing and I throw it close enough to be accepted.

Great app on the whole, formatting could use some work though. Maybe a double tap to send to middle function too! All in all very enjoyable to use

Impossible to play. Dragging cards becomes difficult, and when a smartphone has an option to drag to go back, constantly backing out of the game

I hate that I can't play against players I know and I also hate that it has no sound whatsoever. I want to hear the cards clicking.
