Very bad experience. Wish there was an option to give negative ratings here. It's been more than 2 months that I've moved out of a Nestaway property and I haven't received my refund yet. Would recommend to rent out a property directly from owners, you might have to pay more deposit amount initially, but it will save you the hassle of struggling to get back your refund once you move out.

App is no longer working. It never opens the property details. Just a plain white screen and then it hangs completely till I force close it. Totally useless. Plus, when it used to work, I noticed that the rent, deposit, etc was way too expensive. Not like a small difference, but significantly higher than rental rates of a particular locality. I have been able to find better properties through a competitor app. Their app works, too.

From yesterday, 16th March 2019, the app has been crashing everytime I launch it. Please fix this issue ASAP. Edit (19th March): The app crashing issue is still there, even after installing the latest update. Everytime I reinstall the app and launch it, it works fine the first time. As soon as the app gets removed from memory, it starts crashing on every subsequent launches. This is very annoying. Please make a comprehensive fix for this issue.

i would have given the old app a 4.5/5. the app had a feature of showing all the houses in an area on a map. that was really convenient. and now it doesn't even have a sort feature. there are a ton of bugs in filtering the results. there's no option to save or share the house details. it's a degrade, instead of an upgrade.

You have to be behind them once move out for your deposit, they don't refund until unless you try for it. I have spent 2 difficult months with them to get my money back. There's no contact info, the area manager or Hub manager won't help, don't pick the calls, the multiple tickets which I have created and escalated till level 4 are useless. The home stay was okay with few issues. I will never prefer nestaway even in worst possible scenario. Thanks!!!

I don't know how people are using this platform. Visited just one property. 1. Rates mentioned on the app were deceiving. There they quoted double the rate 2. Property was poorly maintained. 3. Images shown on the app IS NOT AT ALL of the place. After going through a lot of properties on this platform, I realized that they are not using the actual photos of the properties. Again deceiving the user.

Extremely pathetic service. There have been serious electrical issues at the place nestaway provided and they never solved it. Technicians came by once in a while, they will check the issue, will go back and will never return. Do not choose nestaway in places where there are frequent powercuts. I have raised multiple requests in the last two months. This is the latest one - NF_02298170. No resolution found yet. With frequent powercuts in my area, this couldnt get any more worse.

The app is not upto the mark. To list the property it takes me to the website. Then what's the use of installing this app. Moreover at the website it feels further frustrating as I can't list my property and ther is no error message too as to why I can't. On top of that when I click on 'Get Help' it's of no help and does not allow me to post a question as an owner. Frustrating!

Very bad experience. Worst customer support. I've moved out before 2 months but haven't received my security deposit yet. The call center number doesn't work. Don't know whom to reach out to to get this resolved. Very much frustrated with them. It is almost 2 months before I have raised the ticket CC_08455311 but haven't received any update on the same.

One of the worst apps there is with no customer support whatsoever. I have not even moved into the house and they're already showing some pending amount which I've no clue about. There is no way to directly contact the customer support even (not sure they have one!). Because of some technical glitch, I'll not be able to use this app ever again, even when it's not my fault!

The app looks all good and fancy on the outside but it's the worst when you start using it, it doesn't provide any particular contact details or accurate information about the property listed or the place. I feel this is one of the worst platforms to find a place.

On the first banner itseof concerning COVID19, the app becomes unresponsive and crashes. Editing my ratings The new update is pathetic. The search function is completely useless, the earlier map search was such a breather, I could easily see whether the flat will be close to my office. Now, for each flat it takes you to google maps. Doing that is not feasible at all. I loved the previous version.

I have been mostly using Nestaway on my Mac. I have had a good experience using it there. That's the reason I rated it 4/5 stars. I had some issues though with certain months' bills. I think there were certain bills that were added erroneously and upon clarification with their customer care, they were removed. Also, there were some typos in descriptions of certain bills. Apart from that the experience has been good and I would put forth a similar recommendation to other people to use Nestaway.

It has an option called "schedule move in" when I click on that it keeps loading whereas the other options like "pay security deposit", "Pay rent" are working awesome. When it comes to paying money it works fine but when we try to get the service which I paid for it is not at all working. I don't know if it is designed like that purposefully.

the worst experience ever! To be honest I would never recommend this to anyone! They deducted a humongous amount from my security deposit claiming we stole the TV!! which was never provided to us from the get go! The agent kept changing his statement a million times despite knowing the truth! Suddenly the checklist that they had made in the beginning about the items provided was also not valid! Oh! did I mention it took almost 3 months for them to transfer the security deposit, for which I had to call them every single day! Frankly speaking from my individual experience, it feels nothing but a scam! The overall experience was so bad, that me and my roommate literally counted days to get out of that, the six months was painful! Never ever!

Rent is just one small fraction of the total cost. A number of service charges follow, so many things fail, most of the items in the item checklist are missing, some not working- if you report you have to pay for it. Property manager will hardly pick up your call. Really bad experience. Would definitely persuade everyone to not take Nestaway

Nestaway App recent update is poorly designed. Most of the options shows unusual errors and it is not making the tenant to check out. It's like locking the tenant once they check in against thier will. Plus the utility bill (Electricity) they don't update in dashboard on a regular monthly basis and suddenly they charge for 3 to 4 months utility bill to be paid in a month. For month of May 2019, I paid the rent for month of May and utility bill for February. That's how inefficient they are.

the app has deteriorated ever since its look & feel was changed recently. two major problems which now generally comes up are: 1. the app crashes or goes blank the moment more than 10-12 properties are scrolled one after another 2. if search criteria is selected for "room" than app shows those properties also which either have rooms sold out or which have one out of two bed available in the room, which actually is wrong search results. Don't know why these faults are not rectified till yet

Most pathetic service I have ever felt from any company. Please rent a house by any means but do not ever choose Nestaway for it. Area Manager never pickup the calls . Customer care confirms call back for every issue but never expect call back from them. Even if you are lucky enough to receive a call back, they will disconnect the call without listening you. Once you move in, Nestaway stops responding. Worst App...everytime it hangs, route to website and doesn't work.

Frauds of the highest degree!!! I had taken an apartment for rent to utilise as storage since we had to move out of town during the pandemic. Got the keys, moved in the stuff and closed the apartment for over a year. Now when we are moving out, they are sharing a maintenance charge that is twice the advance amount. It has absurd charges such as 8000 rupees for "geyser repair" and so on. All this for a house that has been locked up since the day I received the keys from nestaway!!!

My building got acquired by Nestaway. Although I thought that the app will be useful and convenient. Unfortunately, it is not. Their turn around time for services is pathetic and you will start missing speaking to your landlord and get things done done quickly and properly instead. I have raised multiple tickets and rarely would they resolve queries. So, the point of the app is just show-off. Will recommend Nestaway to anyone.

An absolute nightmare of a system! Unresponsive team that will never be able to fix an issue with the property. A flawed app that always manages to add extra charges and fines to your dashboard. Clueless persons in charge who's only response to a query/problem is to 'raise a service request' which doesn't get answered.

App itself isn't bad but service is very poor when you want to list your property. I have been trying for a week to get in touch with the Area Manager. Probably, there could be a messaging feature within the app to reach out to the Area Manager or the onboarding team.

DO NOT USE IT!!To be honest I have been using nestaway service for the 8 months, it has been easy and quick to use when moving to a new area. But recently it has been the worst, it is almost like they don't want you to continue their services. Once we had 4 days without power, with no explanation and their customer service team doesn't know anything and can't do anything. They don't have a proper notification about the bills, I have never gotten a due notification JUST DON'T USE IT! IF POSSIBLE

My stay experience is fine. But when vacated the flat, I had a very very bad experience. They give something or the other excuse but does not refund you your security deposit on time within the committed timelines. It took nearly 2 months of follow up for me to get my security deposit. Moreover they charge you additional amount which they deduct from the deposit amount without any prior information to the customer. I couldn't find any lower rating available other than single rating.

Worst customer service ever seen. I raised a ticket regarding correction in rent agreement renewal fees, I have already paid the fees but app is showing me the unpaid amount 3 more times. Ticket has been escalated till level 4 but no one has responded to it yet.

I have had good experience with the customer care executives. They were quite reasonable and proficient. There have been trouble connecting with them for me in the past, but they were more responsive later on. I have lowered the the rating, because I keep getting charged extra repair fees and maintenance charges. This can be fixed by raising a tixket. But the number of instances of this issue has been quite a hassle.
