Netatmo Security

If another user picks up the doorbell call after I have opened the app my phone (Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G) then thinks it's on a call until the phone is restarted. The phone's volume button then controls "in call volume" and I don't hear any notifications or alarms unless I put the phone up to my ear. I have missed important alarms because of this and it happens frequently, multiple times per week. I have to check and potentially restart my phone every time someone rings the doorbell.

Limited Google Home integration (can't view video stream in the Google Home app (not Google Home limitation, works fine with Arlo cameras), smoke detector not supported). Disables camera floodlight when you ask Google Assistant to "turn off all lights". Short field of view (100º). Constant issues with included/official SD cards, must constantly get new ones and lose all videos and biometric data. Otherwise great, especially cost (no subscription fees) and support (free replacement SD cards).

[Doorbell] Why is it so buggy after watching for multiple minutes? And after someone rings the doorbell, the image of the call on my home screen isn't loading. If I clear all data, the image is loading again, but after a few times, it isnt anymore... Watching the doorbell in Amazon Alexa app works normal and not freezing/buggy... Watching on Google Home hub is also buggy and freezing HAHA. losers!

Frequent "retry connection" issue in the app. From time to time cameras are disconnecting randomly even though there s plenty of wi fi 6 signal. Kinda dissapointed.. Been using the Netatmo system for more than a year now.

"An error has occurred. Please try again later" every time I try to live stream or play back on my Poco F3 running Android 11. Any fix? It works on my ipad and older Samsung phone with Android 9.

for 200euros per camera i expect more, the app is borderline amateurish. and also "cant connect to server error" renders the app and thus cameras useless. thankfully i found out how futile netatmo products are in time and can send back and get full refund from amazon.

I like it. Reliable, but limited. Only person notifications, not cars nor animals.

Great app, which sends almost instant alerts from my Presence camera to my phone wherever I am in the world. You can choose between one or all of people, cars and animals, and the software is very accurate. It's also useful to be able to set alert zones to prevent unwanted activations. It's just a shame you can't set the app to ignore recognised faces. The automatic uploading of clips to Dropbox is free and again works great. Customer service have been good when contacted too.

I've been using it for over a year now and the facial recognition has gotten progressively worse. At first the Welcome camera recognized everything. Now I would estimate facial recognition works 20-30% of the time, if that. Not only that, but to call the live stream 'live' is a bit of a joke. Most of the time there is a 5-10 second delay which I assume is because of the facial recognition but since that doesn't work great either its just a pain. The geofencing doesn't seem to work either. It did when I first got the camera and app but no longer does. I definitely wouldn't recommend this for anything more than a little gimmick to show your friends.

Great, everything works well, beautifully designed camera. However there is no ability to look back to a specific date and time in the app. I would expect to see that in such a expensive system. At least mimic what's in the $20 wyze cam so we don't have scroll down for ages. Also, no Google drive or other cloud providers except Dropbox. No ability to connect the presence via ethernet. LED light in the presence is not diffused enough so you can still see each LED which takes away from its looks.

This app is too basic and the little it does, it doesn't do very well at all. You can specify a detection zone but you cannot adjust the sensitivity and the zone must be of a certain minimum size so not ideal for covering smaller areas. Also, the number of false positive notifications produced are ridiculous. It also notifies me every time a person or animal walks past a car and is seen on the reflection of the car or if a car goes past with their headlights on.

The camera so far has proven to be very good, my biggest gripe are security features of the app. I live in a shared home and I really like that I can share the app view with housemates for shared security and openness with each other but it does not let you restrict access to settings, meaning anyone can just turn it off or adjust alert window making this camera useless for security application.

Impressive and subscription free. Detection is very good although can be a little over sensitive even when using the improve detection feature it still pings me when it thinks my laundry drying is a person. Not a massive problem, just means I have to turn off alerts for a few hours. Would be great if I could display video on my Chromecast using Google home, but this just doesn't work. Also I would like to be able to delete all from the app. Very happy overall and would recommend this product.

Feature rich and great picture, love how it connects to the electrics and wifi rather than PoE or battery. No subscription needed either, with your own FTP server support, or if you do want cloud storage dropbox is supported. Nest could learn a thing or two, I hate subscription services when there is no need. Fully support this product!

I have already contacted your service without any reply back. On both iOS and Android, the quality of the video stream either live or recorded one is pixelated at 360p resolution. That can only adjusted on a PC. Occasionally it can on the android app when pressing several times on the resolution sign at the bottom right corner , and there is no option on iOS. Quite disappointing when the camera itself is a really nice piece of technology.

I would give this camera a five star if it weren't for the price of them. I had issues with SD cards but have finally gotten it fixed. I just wish these cameras weren't 200 usd or over. I love the online interface and the app. The person detection sometimes throws animals and objects into it. But I have all motion throwing notifications. I wish I could afford many more.

Been a long time user, generally it has been flawless with rare occasional disconnects for 20mins, and odd things which haven't been picked up. Customer service very good, which is the key thing. I have opted same security system in another home as a testiment of how good these are (I've tried other highstreet brands like Swann, Yale, Arlo and Ring).

Cameras keep disconnecting randomly and the app always has network issues

I get each and every Notification except if "smoke is detected". As soon i open the App i get that "alarm" visible.

I like that you can now set the playback resolution, but I can't find a way of it defaulting to 1080p, I have to manually set it each time? Also I'm a little concerned since they changed their App logo, the fact it just says security (no mention of netatmo) makes me think they're going to be taken over or are going under? :-/

great camera . Very easy to install. The only thing i would ask for is to be able to chose alarm sounds when camera detect movement. At the moment there is only one very short sound ( it won't wake me up during the night when something is going on ) . Netatmo team please ad more choice of alarm sounds. thanks.

Started off with a presence camera then added 2 indoor cameras, since then I have had the original plus 2 other replacement outdoor cameras fail, seems to be an issue with the memory cards and the IP rating as water is getting into them, hopefully you will upgrade the external camera very soon as at the moment it is not fit for purpose, also unable to turn the flood light on manually from app anymore, I'm an Electrician who knows how to install these.
