NetHome Plus

Can not get the app to work properly. When I try to activate it I get the following message: Activation Failed! The link has expired or is illegal, please try again. Tried several times and the same message come up. Tried a work around and when it asked me for my router password it hangs up because I have no password for my router. I live too far away from anyone to worry about a password.

It's an OK app but it keeps turning on the LED on my ac. Cannot turn off from my phone, only from the remote. It would be cool if they added a way to turn it off permanently.

Horrible wasted an hour. I can't get it to work. If I go through manual setup, I can get all the way to "connecting phone to network' it gets to 99% and fails.

Please add the ability to turn on/off led back lighting. My Danby AC unit is so bright at night, and the physical remote let's me turn the AC lights off, but the app doesn't. This is my only complaint.

Just discovered that the Cielo Thermostat I purchased does not work with the Nethome Controller. Both do much the same thing, so it would be absolutely wonderful if Nethome could work with Cielo to allow control of my Senville Heat Pump via WiFi from the Cielo Thermostat. It seems fine on my Phone, but will not install on my Tablets, which greatly reduces the usefulness of the app. I had hoped to use it in my bedroom, and that is not going to happen. I really wish the app would work on older versions of Android, or perhaps Tablets if that is what the issue is. Update: They informed me that they are working on a Tablet version, so I updated my rating. There is one other feature that would be nice - if the app sees that the Device is on the same network, no login would be required. This would be more convenient for local use.

It works, but it's rather clunky. The AC units sometimes takes up to a minute to respond. The buttons often need to be pressed repeatedly for up to a minite before the action registers. It's got "vertical" and "horizontal" mixed up. It will use a a mix of celsius and Fahrenheit on the same screen, ignoring your preferences. It appears to communicate on some indecipherable protocol to some low-tier AWS server, so an alternative app or self-hosted sever would be difficult to achieve.

1 of 3 Aircons not able to control... The problem follows the usb wifi dongle. If I move the dongle to another Aircon and do a swop and setup on NetHome, the problem follows the dongle... 3 identical aircons are hooked to separate AP units, so not a wifi problem... Tested over a few months now, but no lasting success... Mac of working units C4:39:60:xxxxxxx - the unit giving problems is 04:D6:F4:xxxxxxx .... Any help would be appreciated....

Google Assistant stopped working after working for an entire year without a problem. I tried removing the device, readding, reconnecting to Google but I just keep getting an error that Google cannot connect to net home plus. *Edit* started working again! Good customer service with fast response times. Only giving it 4 in hopes it pushes them to integrate with Smartthings. That would simply be amazing and SOOOOO many people want it. Just Google Smartthings Nethome Plus .

My experience with this app is excellent which gives you a four star ⭐ rating, however it would have been given a five star 🌟 rating if there was a eco mode in the function settings of the app. This is something to be considered whenever updating of this app.

Very difficult to set up. The auto set up does not work on Senville minis. I had it connected until the power went out once, now it doesn't want to connect.

It's ok but I hate the fact that you can't turn off the led on the AC. Please update and I will give 5 stars. (Update* 2022 still can't turn off the led -changed from 2 to 1 stars)

Not working. Lost an hour on trying to set it up. Setup fails at last step 'connect phone back to wifi'. Bummer!!

Can't set Schedule! I can't find any way to setup a schedule! Many reviews indicate that app is capable of doing it. New Pioneer Mini Split

The app works okay but it frustratingly doesn't follow system rotation settings. Even if I have rotation locked, it always goes sideways.

It is amazing for controlling my A/C i have media air conditioner windfree and i like the new update where the silky cool will always turn on the option on the A/C

Doesn't work for my Danby DAC120EB3WDB. Times out at 99% on the last step. I've tried all troubleshooting tips through the app as well as google.

Garbage. Refuses to work without ridiculous unrequired permissions. Device storage and camera? You do not need this. Go away. Uninstalling.

I have problem with my vivax airconditioner. First i had the application on my Samsung note 8 when i changed my phone to redmi note 10 pro i can not conect to the airconditioner.

Decent app, but there seems to be no way to create a schedule utilizing the eco feature of my mini split

it needs a lot of bug fixes as we can't add it with google home and devices shows offline and they are not when change the temperature it changed in a strange way as well as the mode of the AC and fan speed please rebuild this app to succeed

Update: I add my device and then after a hour or so, it disappears from the app. I've tried to delete and reinstall the app, but I can't get the mini split to stay connected in app. I can see it's still connected to the wifi without any problems. Original review: App works well for me. The only thing I can't figure out is how to set vacation mode from the app.

The app doesn't have the option to turn the sound off. This A/C's beeping is so loud it drives me crazy. I know the remote control has the option to turn off the sound, but once the A/C is off it forgets and starts beeping again. The app won't even allow me to give my feedback, so here you have only a part of it because I did notice more things that could easily be improved.

There are a lot or functions missing. Like silence, sleep, fresh, led, etc for Vivax AC.

I cannot add my AC. In the step "Reconnecting Phone to Wi-fi", it stops at 99% and show the message "Find device in router timeout!". I have a TP-Link Deco at home using 2.4Ghz/5Ghz at the same time. Can you help please?

I love the idea of this app. I can turn on/off from the app. BUT. I'm having a terrible time with the SCHEDULING option. Sometimes it works & most times it doesn't. I've spent tons of time trying to figure it out. The first problem I notice is that if I schedule it for Saturday, sometimes it shows Sat in the schedule & sometimes it shows Sun! ??? Sometimes it turns on & sometimes it does not. Very unreliable. I tested it on Friday & it worked. I set it up for Sat & it did not work at all. Help

I had the same problem as others at first - it would either get to 99% of the first step or get almost to the end of the second step (pre-configuring device), then fail. After several failed attempts, I turned off my carrier network to ensure the phone wasn't switching from my wireless network to the cellular network. Once I did this, it installed perfectly.

All my devices just suddenly disappeared. What is that about? Now none of my devices will connect again. 5 Mini Split A/C units. Edit: After trying with 5 different Android phones, and miserably failing, I tried with a friend's iPhone. I was able to add 1 device. Having said that, it is evident your Android app is broken. I will add the remaining 4 devices via the iPhone and hope they don't disappear again.
