I was frustrated for being unable to connect my PC to my Redmi 6a phone through the phone's mobile hotspot. Then I tried out this app. At first, even though I typed in the correct password several times I was unable to connect my PC to my phone . But later I figured out how it should be typed in. The password is tricky. All lower ans upper case letters should be typed in as they're shown. The trick is with the numbers. You have to type in the numbers with the "Caps lock" On. I tried other apps but this is the only app which works for me. Thanks a lot! 😍😍😍
Works fine, but I'm having a weird issue with this (and other repeater apps), where I can't connect more than one device. My desktop connects perfectly, but my phone can't seem to connect even though I'm putting everything correctly. It keeps trying to connect and stops - tries again and stops. Is there any way to solve this? I'm using a Moto G4 on Android 7.0, if it's any help.
Nice app, but after a minute or two, the connection suddenly drops out and I had to reboot the router. I faced this issue only with Redmi device and not in Vivo. Hence, please provide a miui optimization option for that. I get the required speed as when connected directly. Keep it up. But what is the unlimited plan, I don't understand that?
Works Perfect. My Hotspot connectivity was blocked by a service provider. Tried all other apps but nothing. I had given up. Tip! Read the help section. One thing though, the instructions for Mac connectivity could be written a little better, so that its clear that the only tab that you have to tinker with is WiFi / Airport and not Ethernet.
My biggest complaint is that you have to Google "Connect android using the proxy" in order to use this on anything other than devices that have this app. Also, the app sometimes doesn't even connect and I have to do this. I would suggest this app to those who know how to Google. Other than that, I would suggest avoiding this app. It is not that user friendly. Would also be nice if this can connect via Bluetooth in order to get the app on the other device if it's not installed nor have internet.
This app is useless and netshare softwares doesn't even take responsibility and give the app a new update that is better instead they tell us to read the help section that does not respond. I would rate 0 stars if i could because this app is not worth installing and please don't buy the full version it is also useless and options have disappeared. My problems with the app are my windows 10 cannot find the network, it always disconnects and it keeps changing the password. DO NOT INSTALL !!
I'm not sure what happened. The free version let's you have whatever SSID and password you want - and WORKS, albeit timed. The paid version has a pre-selected SSID and a password you cannot custom configure. I've also not been able to get it working since I paid for it.
Set it up on an old PC with limited wifi usage. I was a bit skeptical about the proxy config in the settings at first, but it seems to work fine without an issue, even on my phone that, for whatever reason, has wifi tethering disabled. I like it very much!
5 stars definitely worth purchase. was using another tethering app that suddenly stopped working regardless of the full version being purchased. almost thought my device was going to be unable to tether up until netshare. I had netshare on my old Android device and totally forgotten about it (forgive me) so happy I remembered!!!
I could not get this app to consistently stay connected to the host phone. Connecting often took multiple attempts and then, once connected, would slow down over time and then would lose connection. Bought the premium version so it should not have been timing out.
It works but partially. First No internet available message pop ups. Then I have to disconnect vpn and add proxy and port I discovered from other apps. Then it works but cannot use all apps. for expample whatsapp is not working. PUBG not working. Pls give a solution. I will update my review then. I can only browse using chrome. Nothing else works.
It is working. But there are few things can improve. 1. Reduce power usage. I noticed the master phone had 80% power used by netshare+. 2. Very often the Play store on secondary phone will stuck at pending downloading forever. I have to clear the user data of Play store to continue.
Utterly useless. Was trying to use this to make my device function as a repeater, which did not work, despite the device having a crystal clear connection. Any devices connected would simply act as though there was no internet connection. Do not install.
Own RouterNet Pro, this seems to be it's successor. Works as expected and I have been using my RouterNet Pro still on newer verisons of Android. Only problem I have is trying to connect legacy (2.4GHz band) devices (like TV/Blu-ray players) to use streaming services or update. On newer devices, the Wifi Direct group is created on 5GHz band and not visible from legacy devices. Please add a band (or channel) selection so we can create the group with the desired frequency.
App used to work as described but with recent updates the root version no longer works correctly without changing the connection and LAN settings. Looks like i paid for a dud. Hopefully they get it up and working again.
I purchased Netshare Pro for 9.99, now youre advertising this app, saying it can connect to Xbox and PS4 when in fact it is literally no different from the aforementioned app, Netshare Pro & Netshare + are the same app 😡 Dont get me wrong, the app (Netshare Pro) is awesome, it works as stated, just upset you try to pass off another app (Netshare +) as being able to do something different when in fact, it cant. (RouterNet is also one of these apps that are a duplicate and does nothing different)
This app is great! I use this to make my wifi coverage good as in some places its horrible. The only complaint I have is on Youtube for iOS the "No internet connection" banner keeps apearing but besides that everything is working. I have been using a cheap $30 phone to share the connection and I'm having no trouble. Thanks!
I love this app since day one. My carrier was charging me a ridiculus price to have hotspot services enabled on my phone line. When I installed the NetShare+ Wifi Tether app on my phone, the setup process and connection was seamless and easy. Very reliable app for the price. Will recommend to anyone that cannot afford monthly payments for hotspot services.
No connection to Internet anymore. Since last upgrade the hotspot shows, is connected to wifi and internet and client connects but netshare+ does not provide internet sharing, even when manually setting proxy to values in the manual. Tried uninstalling, resetting wifi and apso using wps but never got a connection to internet from client phone. Was a great solution but is useless now.
works as described my last phone allowed hotspot but broke so i bought a cheap LG and it blocks the hotspot features even though I use the same GSM SIM in this as prior phone w/hotspot... this app saves me from rooting or other extreme forms of unathorized bypass.. also the fact it hides the use of this apps feature is half the value of the app otherwise a carrier would throttle the **@P out of any one caught using this without "permission" at the least.
Bought the activation key. Absolutely cannot get the XBOX one to connect. It gives me a DNS server issue. It works great for my roku TV when it comes to screen mirroring,that I am thankful for!
I changed my review because now that I've used this app for awhile now my printer stopped working with this app & the NetShare no root - tetherin app my printer was my main reason I needed this app so u can imagine how happy I was to find this app now I'm sad about it.:'( (OLD REVIEW: Was what I was looking for works great yes it took a little bit to figure out how to get it to work WiFi direct after I figured it out works great on everything I phones, tablet and printer. I use it all the time
It really does work it did great the first month but now get sluggish and really slow loading pages. I've even paid for the upgrade don't it it works just like the free one but I never got the extra stuff that was to come with the paid one
It works perfectly! Now I can watch with my small WiFi beamer series in my bedroom. My mobile has much better WiFi quality and I can use it as Wi-Fi tethering and even using it at the same time. Great work! It deserves to purchase it unlimited
netshare+ works great on Windows 10.... for sharing wifi internet connections from an entry level 10 dollar Android phone The only part i don't understand is the apps name .... How can netshare+ be a lite version of netshare?........ That does not make any sense in the naming style ......(as the description says) Many thanks for the free app
Good been using for years with use of my unlimited mobile to stream on PS4 depending on model phone it wont work with older models - have been using it on a Pro since. Only issue is it can't sign into PSN or other secure sites through the proxy Otherwise excellent app to update games, stream videos for endless entertainment
I am amazed. it works. So you have to install it on both devices, but I had no hotspot to add it, so I got 'appshare' too, and shared them both via bluetooth, and literally within moments I was in business. Very nice app -- both of them! This was a fun learning experience, I can duplicate this procedure anytime, not sure how it would work to set up a PC, but I think it would work fine.
