LOVE THE NEW MAP FEATURES! I'm really liking the ability to see which tower I'm connected to, it is showing I'm connected to a tower in central South Carolina. I'm in central Florida. The update didn't fix that wither. Verizon is sooo bad, so I use this app to check my speeds, tower number and RSRP/ASU. It all helps me with pointing my cell booster antenna toward a better tower when one of Verizon's inevitably goes down for days out of every month.
Excellent tool for cellular reception evaluation. I used it before I bought an amplifier for cellular signals. The app helped me detect where I had the poorest reception and where to locate the internal antenna of the amplifier. With the app I was able to check the improvement of the signal after amplification.
Found it very useful in dealing with my cell provider, cutting through their standard BS they tell you. I finally got to speak with one of their supervisors in technical support and had a long insightful, informative conversations. Unfortunately discovered there's really nothing I can do to improve my dropped calls & lack of data signal issues. Can't tell if any reports have been sent by this app as of yet but keep it running constantly & granted extra permission & doesn't affect phones opperat
Used it when I put in a new cellular booster in my home in the country. Screens are easy to read and interpret. Very helpful in placing the interior antennas.
It was good until they started to aggressively ask for permissions. Additionally, it doesn't work anymore on my phone - doesn't detect the network signal.
Used to be good . It used to work it used to find your cell tower .it used to keep itself to itself until you launched it ..now it does none of these things. Can't find tower, consantly nags You to do stuff even though ive notifications turned off . Won't recognise a dual sim but very good at finding your neighbours wifi! Total didsapointment and of course no way of undoing update . Just about to remove it from my phone but thought id give a review first .
Fantastic app for displaying cell network data, and signal strength. Would like to see some online help information to explain some of the data we are seeing.
Great app - irritating pop-ups The data this app provides is really useful, but I get daily pop-ups exhorting me to turn something or the other on or off. Irritating behaviour that I can't seem to stop. Decided, on balance, I can live without the app, so uninstalled.
I like this app. It is what I was hoping to find. I live in a mountain region where some parts of the area get very little or no signal and you never know when you might need to make an emergency call or get help from a tow service. This app very quickly showed me the best places in the house to get a better signal. Thank you for making a good app that actually helps.
while the app has usefulness, it still forces push notifications on you when the notifications are disabled and the app isn't running. this is a big no no. there are alternatives like NetMonster that give the same details without being so annoying.
The app helps when you are wanting to check why your online devices aren't working. But it is difficult to know how accurate it is, the readings between different applications is never the same.
Feedback: 1. Old dashboard was good under GAUGE with two network meters only, now it looks cheap with three and uncomfortable to see, 2. Shows wrong band 4 for Airtel in India instead of band 3 which is actually allocated, this need to be improved and accurate.
Gives useful information, but in confusing USA date & time format. Pse allow to choose date & time format in settings or rather display date and time in mathematically logical format, eg yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss. AM & PM is confusing. Wi-Fi speed test very slow to start and gives wrong results.
Before the most recent update, I would have given this app 5 stars. But the most recent update spams me with notifications to check my wifi status and there's no way to turn them off except to disable notifications for the app in Android settings. Not cool. Note: I'm not talking about ads; I expect them in a free app.
Very poor service from rain ... the service provider..hence the app ... just indicates that the connectivity is poor ... I have constantly complained to rain the service provider ... but still no improvement ...
Love it! I have used it to setup 5 networks, and 2 cell boosters and all for free. I will definitely purchase this app to show my appreciation for a great product even if I never have to use it again.
What's the deal with all those bullsh!t notifications, lately? A cheap attempt to push in app purchases or upgrades. Please stop, it's off-putting.
The app can show the signal strength. Knowing the signal strength at that spot, I don't have to expect a higher speed performance, less frustration.
No longer works. Ads work fine along with the Wifi but no network detected. Bummer.
A sweet utility, do your research though to better understand the workings of it. Very helpful with troubleshooting in my case.
This is an awesome app for Android. I can able to see where I am on low frequency band and where on high frequency band. I Use Ookla to see speed accordingly. Love it. Any plans to bring on IPhone.
How to get people to uninstall your app! Have it send random, stupid, notifications, even when it's not in use! Bye!
It's kind of a cool app, but you can't shut it down. You can force stop or reboot your phone, but it starts sending notifications again. I understand there is value to constantly collecting data, but I want to be able to decide when that happens. Uninstalled for now. "to exit the app, simply swipe close" - I said I want to shut it down. If it is still sending notifications, it has not been shut down. I want to be able to stop it from running (and collecting information) without rebooting.
Used this app too locate my nearest cell tower. The best way I found to do that is by just using the strength meter to determine where the strongest signal was coming from. A lot of the tools are above my pay grade so I didn't use them except for the speed meter. The app looks great, is accurate and easy to navigate. The best app to locate where your strongest signal is coming from.
