Neuron - Escooter Sharing

Had a notification from the app that it needs to be updated. No updates available in Play Store. So I cleared the cache, cleared the data, and then reinstalled the app. Still getting the same message. Discovered it was having developer options enabled that broke this. I don't have a rooted phone. I just like to adjust my power and network settings. Really frustrating.

Having changed the Monthly pass from 90 minutes to 30 minutes without any communication, I bought the monthly pass only to find before the trip that unlike before, I had barely enough minutes available to get home. The other passes baffingly stay at 90 minutes, which was essential to actually do anything besides going to and from work (and that's if there's no traffic!). Currently asking for a refund 🙄

The QR scanning functionality was bad, now it's worse. Also, it used to be really easy to add new rider, there was an option to skip the form. Now I have to fill up the information form every single time.... Really convenient! It takes, 3 seconds to start trip and 20 seconds to finish the trip.... Not dodgy at all....good way to earn more money. Shame....

Unable to verify via SMS. Received code on the second try it was 'invalid'. Tried multiple times after that and never received the code. So I guess I can't use the app. I've done this countless times for other apps with no problems. Get your SMS verification system sorted. Terrible first impression for your company.

I've installed the app for the first time but a message tells me an update is required and blocks me from using the app in anyway. I think the CTA button layout is clipped beyond the edge of the screen and is inaccessible.

It's not really a great experience. I walked around to three different scooters located on the map but none of them were there. They go way too slow, it's actually dangerous to ride at that speed with traffic in the city. You're holding up cars on narrow roads. If you ride into a restricted riding area where the engine shuts off, the motor brakes also shut off and you can pick up speed really quickly going downhill. I didn't feel safe on these. They need better engineering.

Unable to end trip. Waste of time to fix the provider's system issue. Yet I was charged the whole duration and other fees. Disappointed first time use experience. Would not recommend to others s they may encounter similar issues

Simple and easy to get started and use. I find myself using them almost daily now so if I could recommend 1 thing, maybe doing some kind of rewards program (example: After 10th ride, 11th ride half price Or free unlock for 3 consecutive day use) I also wish they went a bit faster but I guess that's not really up to you

Generally it all works well. Peak times inner city can be challenging. I have had to open an account with the competition as it gets frustrating walking past sometimes 10 to 15 unusable units looking for an available scooter. Investigate the day passes and save yourself some coin.

Started off great for the first month of usage, now in to my second month, scooters are unavailable when they are clearly within the zone and still have plenty of battery life! Made me very late twice in a week. I won't rely on this service when time is tight and I with be paying for another month in advance again! There are five scooters at the end of my street now, which are completely unusable!!

Downloaded app. Immediately won't work as update required. No option to update. Uninstaller and reinstalled twice. Problem remains. Cannot use the app. Cannot use the scooter. Extremely poor.

Used to work and now it's asking to update the app when there is no update via Google.play store and also uninstalled the app. Fix this!! Lime it is then...

Handy, convenient and safe is used correctly. Really hope this stays as a potential option here in Melbourne!

"unusual activity" can't be resolved. So my account is locked. Repeated calls to the help center just end up repeating advice from previous calls, no real forward movement on the issue. This rating might change after they "escalate" my issue, and the reps are certainly polite. But the support team is anything but, and this will never get a 5. Tldr; great and cheap service until unknown problems lock you out of your account and then you'll never be able to use it again.

Easy to use though the sat navigation takes a bit of time to catch up, though that, of course, may just be the phone playing up.

It is a very thought out app, neuron has the upper edge on tech compared to Lime. Scooters are easy to find and very user friendly.

This is a great experience. Only problem is, the scooter would turn off and tell me I was in a no ride area despite being on a main road. Had to ride on the opposite side of the road to fix this.

Good app. Fun scooters. Lime is better as the prices are cheaper and the day pass on this app actually only gives you 90 mins of ride time. Lime also gives you access to some e-bikes as well. Overall. Good

Scooter cut out whilst crossing road. Would also intermittently slow down and speed up during journey. Edit: they refunded journey, which is good.

It's convenient however for the days and time not used within the purchase need to be able to rolled over to actually be used as we pay for it ..... It is way to expensive otherwise. I paid for 7days and only got to use 3days worth of minutes..,

Downloaded app. Rented scooter and after 200 Meters it wouldn't go any further saying put of zone. Took longer to set it all up than we were able to ride
