Neuroshima Hex

Thank you for introducing requested features. I still think that the previous interface was more clear but the developers are constantly improving this new version. Waiting for the upcoming updates with some of the armies that are still missing (purchased by me in the previous version).

The old version felt graphically better to me. However, they've added most of the missing content back in the game. (I believe 1 or 2 are still missing.) So finally after recent updates, a decent game again.

A classic game that was fun and easy to play on the road got completely butchered with terrible new UI and updates no one beta tested, in addition lost all existing expansions and stylus input on my Samsung Tab. Any smarter developer would offer a classic version in the app store in parallel to this abomination, way to go in alienating existing owners.

Finally, an update. The game looks better and would perform better was it not for a bug that freezes the game during tile selection. Other than that, disregard fools who give bad reviews based on previous purchases. Armies are (and will be) available to those who bought them in the past.

Fun game, with a few glitches here and there. The big let down is the UI, the inability to see what specific tokens do during the game makes it hard and the lack of 4 player is odd. The interfacte has the acreen for 4 people, but you can only do 2

I have changed my review from a 1 star to a 3 star due to the fact that they have returned some of my armies. However, Neuroshima Hex vanished from the app store for a while and that confused me. I'm happy that they are working to fix, update and remake my favourite boardgame and app, however, the transparency scares me.

Where are all my armies I used to have? There seems to be a whole lot less than there was, and they weren't cheap to buy. No jungle, dancer, vegas, sharrash etc. If they don't come back I want a refund.

On the plus side, the game mostly works. There are a bunch of problems with it though: 1. The AI isn't just bad, it's playing like it's trying to lose, even on the highest setting. That makes it near-useless as a practice tool 2. Getting information on units using the built-in manual requires so many taps it's not worth it 2. You can only undo the moves you're currently making and you can't even rewind the last battle to see what happened exactly. 3. The UI takes some getting used to and is not the best on small screens 4. The app doesn't follow the recent rule changes that allow the player to replace their tiles if they're all action tiles. 5. It could really use online multiplayer. Side note: the game comes with the base armies only and each of the expansions costs more than half the price of the base game, so prepare to spend much more than the base cost if you want to use them too.

The latest update isn't an improvement. What was clear and immediately understandable in the previous graphics is now unclear and confusing with overly busy graphics which don't readily show the properties of the combat units. And that's if you can get it to work - only one of the games I've played since the update has made it to a conclusion, the rest have crashed before completion. Very disappointing, and unnecessary, change to what was a great game.

The update ruined what was a 5 star game, the new tiles are ridiculous and impossible to see what's happening, the jumping from screen to screen between turns is horrible. It's so choppy and NOT fun anymore. All my purchases have been removed. Thanks for turning one of my favorite 'go to' games into something absolutely unplayable. The only update this game needed was an option for online multi-player. Maybe just give us a new army instead. PLEASE PLEASE revert it back to old version.

The developers are a bunch of bed-wetters. What a colossal screw up by forcing the old version to update and not offering a way to go back. New version is horrible. Art/Graphics now make it hard to follow what is on screen. Nothing works right. When is my $ being returned for the expansion pack that doesn't work anymore?

AI needs work. Multiplayer modes need to be fleshed out.

The old version was far superior. Easier to use, better sound effects and artworks. And the new "improved" ai is a joke. They ruined it for absolutely no reason. Not to mention they took away all additional armies for the time being. I wish I could go back to the old version. I guess it's still technically working, for what it's worth.

I loved this game at the beginning. Then very much disliked it after the forced update came along. After some months it is looking/running better, so ill raise my rating. The way the background and tiles look are better, not so confusing. Getting better definitely. Interested in seeing more.

I don't like the new version, it's hard to see which units I'm using and there's too much interface space taken by the artwork. And I've lost access to all the armies I purchased - no idea when they will be restored. The only positive thing is online play.

The update is completely broken. All past purchases are gone. I can't select more than one AI opponent. The graphics and animations are just a massive step down across the board. Please revert to the old app until these glaring issues are fixed.

Very possibly my favorite strategy game on the Play Store! Definitely worth a download!!

Great app! Really enjoy playing vs the AI.

All DLC lost. One star until I get them back. (Planned for some time in the future, it seems)

Ridiculous downgrade to a great app. The new graphics are way too busy, there was no warning that they were "upgrading," and, worst of all, the money I spent on the DLC armies is gone because the DLC armies are gone. Give me back my money!

They have finally updated the app, and done a good job. My only complaint, but it's a big one, is that they completely changed the tile art. I can no longer recognize most of the units at all. They need to give us an option to choose the old tile art, which was great & most people will be familiar with it.

This was one of my fav apps. New update removed purchased content and changed icons and animations. Game had clear icons and clean animations, but now art and animations are too busy. I got a headache during play as things zoomed in out while panel's open and closed. Only allows 2 player now as well. Ruined a great game.
