New Bright DashCam

The app works well. The quality isn't hd but what do you expect from a fairly cheap toy from Walmart? In order for the camera to work, you need to first press "Camera On" on the remote control then find the Wifi on your phone. I have a Note 8 and it worked fine. I was also able to control the car from my phone too with a slight delay but hey it's not 3019.

It seems that NewBright put no thought into updating there app.. Only works with very old phones, luckily I located a phone I had 3 yrs ago and was able to get it to work. Come on guys get your act together, you should be embarrased. It's not like people should be expected to find old phones just to work a RC car. If it can't be fixed then you need to include your own viewing device.

Works great with a Samsung s5. The camera on the car pivots so you can adjust your view. However, the camera wouldn't stay after I adjusted it (other users have complained about this as well). I wedged some thin cardboard behind the camera while adjusting and now it holds the view wonderfully. My son loves this.

Fast & entertaining. Doesn't turn very well. Also, connecting to the cameras wifi isnt an issue but can't "connect to device" or get the live stream to my phone. At 1st i thought it was me but i uninstalled & reinstalled the app several times & followed the steps in order every time only to find out that MANY other customers experienced the same problem. Returning the product 1st thing in the morning!! #NOTWORTHANYSTARS

Video doesn't work with galaxy s7, although the controller in the app will. I was able to get it to work with an old s4. if you want video to play on your new phone you're going to be upset until there's an update.

First off, the app looks cheap, second on the other apps you didn't even bother changing the pictures, third if you want the vr part maybe make your app connect with internet so it doesn't disconnect(just make it to where you cant use the internet)and forth dont get the app and dont buy the product the instructions are hard to read and downs all the things that rc cars are made to do like going outside is the main one, and you have the audacity to put things concerning as"normal" Ruined my B-day

It works exactly like it's supposed to, pretty cool I have to say. I have the galaxy S7 and it works great! The app works really good too, whether it's the screen on the remote or the VR goggles I've had no issues

I am unable to use the app at all. My son is very disappointed as am I. New Bright needs to fix the issue. these toys were bought purposely for the ability to use the dash cam. if the app does not function then we were sold a non-functioning toy. It seems to be that they know about the issue and have an updated it yet I'd be curious to hear from somebody if they have in fact updated it.

use the controller lot of lag and not good video quality at all. also for a heads up if the battery only lasts 15 minutes or less just buy a new battery. I got mine for 18$ and that sounds like why would it be that much but there is a big difference. and if you go forward and the car makes a grinding noise that is not damaging it endless you are going in reverse for a substitute as the brake. but otherwise cant do much about it.

Followed instructions and the app would not recognize the camera when installed on my android phone. Downloaded it on an iPad and it worked fine. Tried it again on my android phone and still doesn't work. Not cool.

note 9, app won't connect phone and cam. gonna try older phone and see. will change stars if works but I agree with another user that's crappy to have to find an old phone, but good that you don't use a new phone.

Turn data off/airplane on, then connect to the dashcam. Phone will not use the WiFi because there is no internet. Also forget your home WiFi so the phone doesn't reconnect to it. It should now work. Hopefully this will help everyone. Maybe New Bright should state this in the directions.

I've had no problems with downloading or getting app to work properly. So far it works great with the added bonus of being able to record video as well as taking pictures. My son loves it.

so far, it does not work on my pixel. i have reached out for support. I may change rating if support is useful. I have read instructions.

This really needs to be updated. To make this work with newer phones you need to Google New Bright DashCam version v2.3 .apk and download the file. I have had no issues running that on my Note 9

I loved the game but now it doesn't work.. my phone is s8. It does work with the controller. It used to work on this phone but for some reason it never connects. Please help

The app only works of we turn the phone to the side so you are looking at in landscape. If we turn the phone upright, we get the message that DashCam has stopped and the app closes.

It works like it should of my car is two years old now and camera still works fine The alliment is kinda messed up a little after using it for a while but that normal even in real cars alliment goes bad driving for a while I hoped it was little faster tho and had much stiffer suspension but not a bad product for 50 bucks

This app was great... Until I encountered a problem with connection. I'm connected with my Dash Cam RC Car via Wifi, but the app does not connect to the camera on my Dash Cam RC Car, so for now the camera on my Dash Cam RC car is useless until I find a solution to my problem.

This app doesn't connect to either or my New Bright RC Jeep Wrangler green remotely at all it connected one time I played with it for 10 minutes and then it started going wonky so I charged the battery and tried it again and it connected and gave me a confirmed notification or even saw the cam was working when I went to put the jeep down it never connected back to it at all and I own a Moto e 6 now I also had it on a ZTE Vantage 2 and also a HTC the only time it ever worked was with my moto e 3

this app is GARBAGE!! I connected to the WiFi, i see the camera, it works, but as SOON as i move the forward joystick, it disconnects from the WiFi! so angry, wouldn't recommend to anyone else

I'm returning this one and getting a different brand. I have repeatedly tried using the phone app and followed tons of different ideas offered on different websites. nothing works. my son is disappointed

it's very cool and for all of you guys who commented saying it doesn't work on newer phones it said something about old phones and tou just didn't see it. overall i love how you can see with the camera 😁

Your app needs work. Cant connect to camera at all while connected on the DashCam Wifi. Im on a style 4 please fix. And your app never asks permission to use camera.

To connect it to your phone you turn on your car and go to wifi settings there should be on that says dash cam on it with a few characters then go to you recent apps and discard the new bright app then go back to that app and press start

the truck runs great and is fast but i cannot get the app to run on my Google Pixel 2xl even though ive followed the steps and unistalled and reinstalled the app numerous times.

Will not work on note 9. Phone wifi hooks up perfectly but app will not work. Delete and return device to store!!!
