Please allow dictionary to be on external card. Takes too much internal storage. Navigation not great. I can click on a noun & get declension info. But no conjugation from clicking on verb. It's possible to go one way. teanglann app can go both ways (but has its own limitations).
Helpful, useful for going through Irish studies. Only improvement would be to allow the user to type in English words to discover what they are in Irish. Maybe it is already a feature but I haven't noticed it. Would recommend.
Great app. Sometimes it just crashes and I'd also really like it if there were plurals, if there was more about grammar and if you could search for focail na gealige! 😊
Wow. Three variants of Irish language pronunciation. This dictionary is a visual of hard work. Only catch is about 3-4 audio pronunciation before I have to restart the app.
Tried to install to android device. It failed and gave warning and the required file could not be obtained from the play store, please uninstall and retry again. I am a learner and believe that this is way better than google translate . Any ideas? Luther (dot) haynes(at)yahoo (dot) com Thank you
This was working great for me but has recently been showing a "download failed" message and I can't use it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no good.
I never could get the app to work after download. It just kept saying, in a grey box, that it was installing downloaded dictionary. Let it sit for an hour. Fail.
No option to move the (huge!) install to SD card and only translates in one direction. You're far better off just using something like Hermit to make a web app from the focloir.ie site itself, which offers far more functionality
Its ok, i guess. Problem is it seems to only go from english to irish and doesn't go the other way in case i run into an unfamiliar word. Or maybe i'm doing something wrong
The speech pronunciation seem to freeze up it seemed like it would be good with everything that it had to offer when you click on a word you should be able to hear how it's pronounced there is not enough in there to keep me having it
AMAZING app! It's different dialect options are fantastic and very accurate! I'd highly recommend it!
It's great but I'd appreciate it if it could reverse to Irish~English. It's a great effort, though. I love it! ♡
very good but would be even better if it offered Irish to English translations as well
Really useful way to expand my vocabulary and saibhreas teanga with the accompanying phrases. Go raibh maith agat.
Good for English to Irish but does not do the reverse search for Irish to English like the website does
Alright. Would be worth five stars if it had the translation to the month of May though.
Great app, use it all the time. Question: I have changed phone. Is there any way to move my favourites to the new phone?
Amazing app google translate dosent work for Irish so this Is a great tool for a student
Fantastic content but frequently fails to launch
I'd appreciate a smoother experience, but I love it already!
Great app. Great tool for learning.
This app won't even launch on my HUAWEI
It has stopped working.
Declan Ward an Ryan Connelly
Really? SleersQ!
crashes frequently (kitkat). search box too small. May 2018. Recent update seems to have fixed the problem.
Why does this not have the ability to search for Irish words? It's usefulness is extremely low without that capability.
This app is brilliant for anyone looking to learn and improve their Irish. It is fantastic.
When it works, it works well. Occasionally, "downloading assets" pops up when I open it, stays at 0%, and eventually fails. It stays this way until I go into settings, apps, force stop, and clear data and cache.
