It is a well designed app and has most of the functionality you would need but it is restrictive having to set a time so that the habits will be arranged in the preferred order. Some habits don't have time associated so it feels like having to hack the app. It would be much better if you can drag and drop to customize and also colour code for categories. There are many other habit apps which the developer could check out to implement ideas into this one and could easily be the best of them all
I was previously using a bullet journal for habit tracking but prefer the ease and flexibility of this app. It lets me choose different frequencies and types, such as doing something every day or a certain number of times a month. I find it quick and easy to use and I really like the habit ideas. Two suggestions - I'd like to be able to group habits, for example into Morning and Evening. Also, it would be nice to have some kind of categorisation with that broken down in the stats.
I like the idea of the app with adding habits from successful people. However many people, in order to use their system, need and want a view where you see your whole week (similar to other apps) and the option of a more simplistic UI in order to see more habits on one screen. Update: Turned out it was my fault since I didn't check all the options with advanced view. Still one star less for the bad dark mode, bad contrast with the colour, unclear so I had to switch back to the white version.
I have downloaded multiple Habit tracking apps to try, this is the one I chose to stick with for multiple reasons. The UI is very clean, user-friendly, yet easy to set up with just a few taps. Has a ton of habits to choose from. The reminder function is also very helpful since I always forget to mark it done after I finish one. The founder has been kind enough to offer 6-months of premium during Corona virus - a very generous act. Will keep supporting.
I love this app. It's the best scheduling/ new hubit app I have tried. I like its flexibility: you can choose how often and when you want to practice a new activity e.g. going to the gym 4 times a week (Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat). It also allows set reminders and goals, for ex., keep reading 14 days consecutively. It helps me a lot not to lose control over coronavirus. well done!
Outstanding app. Not only does it help to track your habits but it also gives you suggestions and motivation, resources, all kinds of things. Not what you would expect from an app. With this app there are no excuses, just results! It's definitely worth trying and even more worth supporting! Only one suggestion: a widget. Get that and you're definitely sky rocketing! Editor's Choice potential for real! As for the rest of y'all, $5.00 a year is not breaking your back. Stop being so damn cheap.
Very useful, still has things to improve. For instance, having the hability to skip days, add notes to self of why it was skipped, without breaking the chain, or with another emoji or another color. Also being able to create habits without time label, because there are some things that you might want to do at any point of the day without wanting to have a rigid schedule. Also the ability to disable past habits so you can still watch your progress in some past habit you made.
Target system is the best thing! I can't see any other app can provide this function! There are some recommendations which I hope the developer can consider. Add up sub-tasks in a goal. For example my goal is to build up exercise habit but I would not do the same exercise for each day. If there is sub tasks function which can allow me to set 100 push-ups/ 100chin up/ 20 reps of resistance exercise in which either 2 is regarded as successful. Then would be more user friendly.
Loving the experience so far. I love all the different types of Habits you can select. It is something you don't find in other apps. For example the "Only No" that helps you build a chain automatically just by continuing the desired habit. One thing I would add is more colors and a compact view to see better all habits together.
I've been researching and testing out multiple apps to keep track of my habits and I'm very pleased with this one. I recently saw this listed as "Rookie of the Year" by Productive You on YouTube. I love the simplistic interface. It's very user-friendly when adding different types of habits you want to track. It even has an added note feature which a lot of habit tracking apps lack.
Wonderful app! I've used tons of habit apps and this one is my favorite. Love the different options for types of habits. Super useful. One desire - when you set a goal/target with in a habit (which is another super cool feature) when you reach your target a screen comes up that says goal acheived, but it doesn't say for which habit. It would be better if it said the habit. If you have a few different habits it can be easy to not know which goal has been achieved.
Definitely one of the best habit tracking apps. Many features and great design. One thing missing for me is to see the time for each habit in the list. It's not available even when switching to advanced view. If you could add this option under advance view+let users decide what details they wanna see in advance view this would be great.
On the main page we really need some sort of grouping to our habits. Time based (morning,mid-day,evening), or user created expandable sections. It would be the only way to organize when we like to track a lot of different habits. Expandable sections also help to make a "routine", which consists a lot of small habits, which would otherwise clutter our main page.
This app consists of a very slick design along with all the customizable features you would need for habit tracking. I love that you have the choice of either creating your own habit or choosing from an assortment of life improvement habits listed by category. Not to mention there are widgets, which is a must for me. Statistics for habits along with lots of helpful tips. The developers definitely put their heart into this app, it shows. May be purchasing the lifetime membership
Nice app! However, I think it would be easier on the eyes if for every habit there is at least a second color within the list( every single one currently is in color blue). This also brings the opportunity to provide different themes. So each theme includes the blue color and another one.
This is a nice app that can support almost all the types of habits (positive and negative).glad they added widgets now. A few additional features are needed to make it worth five star, like : 1. From the home page one cannot mark a failed habit. 2. Translation between days on home screen should be doable with swiping left or right rather than clicking on a date like ancient times. 3. Each habit should be customizable with colours. 4. UI needs to be a bit more fluid.
I really enjoy this app, it helps me keep track and guilts me into doing better. If I were to offer a couple of suggestions those would be: to allow tasks to be moved and switched around vertically and, perhaps, allow multiple tasks to be put into a folder, else you can have too many. 😄
Probably one of the better habit trackers for Android. I've downloaded them all. The smiley face is creepy and ugly. They need more colors and a way to group habits. I think a serious look at aesthetics of the app world help immensely. Also the main reason to download the app (different app types like count, timer, etc), are wasted because you don't get data on those. What was the longest you abstained from a bad habit? What is the average count? Is it going up over time?
Good because of customisability especially with timers, daily frequency counts, and negative counters. The design is good but could be great. Dark mode is overdue, the compactness of each task card can reduce by half at least, the famous people part can be removed for simplicity or reduced to a single weblink. Feedback of pressing buttons should be satisfying. Reordering apps not based on time but drag and drop (not everyone wants to set a time for each).
It is a really nice app but i would love to see some improvement. For example i would like it to store my time in the chronometer when I track my habit no matter if it is less or more than the target. So i could know how much time I spent specifically with this habit in the duration of the week. In addition to this, the statistics are not that clear to read and understand your progress. Also i love the sounds you can choose while you are tracking your habit.
Good UI and very responsive. Lots of stats and graphs for your habits. Gives you suggestion of habits as well. Bad part is on the free version even Dark Mode is locked and you get a nice banner ad at the bottom. I wish premium would enhance the experience and not make the experience tolerable.
Perfect Habit app, but new features needed :). I love this app and I would like to suggest some future improvements: widget // stats: show numbers/time (If I set that I want to read 20 pages or minutes/day, I would like to see how well did I perform - not only if it was successful or not) // skip - There are habits that from time to time needs to be skipped // Simple view - if I have to many habits, I can't see all in the list - one habit takes up too much space! Thaanks for the work.
My goals are becoming my habits quickly with this app. It is a simple yet customizable way to track your habits. It will remind you daily and (even 2x a day if you customize it that way) to complete and track your habit. The founder of this app emailed me to make sure I am enjoying my experience. He is very personable! This app is great, I've never had technical issues with it.
I actually considered the premium, but opted out and here's why. Unlike most freemium habit trackers, this app has many habit types to choose from, BUT the widget doesn't reflect that unfortunately. You can only track yes or no for a habit that's tracked by counter... This is a huge turn off. Also the stats report can do some more work. I love most of the other features like how you can take notes, and edit your history. Would definitely reconsider a purchase if the widget is fixed.
Quite picky with apps in general and I was in the lookout for an app that would conveniently help me reach and track my goals. New Habit is definitely that app! And besides a nice user interface and customization options, being able to compete with friends takes motivation to a whole other level. 100% recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My favorite habit tracker so far. Can I request that for habits I create myself, please put more the ability to write more Notes like the ones on premade Habits. I'd like to be able to write the benefits or my whys, some tips and progression plan as well. It would also be great if I can go back to Habits Dashboard while the chronometer continuously runs. Thanks in advance!
Really like this app. It has motivated me to consistently do some daily habits that i had let slide. I love seeing the monthly view, where i can see how many days in a row I have done the habit. Easy to use.
Very beautiful app. UI is nice, it's very easy to navigate and create new habits. Preset habits are very useful as well. App is reliable so far. The only things missing are widgets (really need that one) and ability to make a lifetime purchase.
App's concept is good but organization and handling is pretty awful if we have dozens to track via Homepage . We don't have ways to group habits together in terms of Morning, Evening or using Colors. Or show like a Timeline to be able to remain updated in a more comprehensive Visualizations. They are all kind of messed up together. Good concept but still poor implementations.
This is best habit tracking app I've seen, I have tried 7 different appa and none of them was giving ability to COUNT good and bad habits, all of them were YES or NO. Really appreciate your work 💯. Edit: it needs a simple improvement, even when the habit type is set to counter, it has ✅ button on its home screen widget which adds the count up to the target, I think it should provide option to let the user to select between ✅ or (+ and -) to be shown with the counter on the widget.
