Would give it a zero if I could. I can't stream any music from my galaxy S20. All I can do is change from AM to FM and raise and lower the volume. Deleted the app. Worst part of I can't pair to the device directly with my phone so I have a brand new RV with no ability to use Bluetooth. Very disappointing!
If I could rate this app a ZERO I would. I have tried it with both a Samsung phone and a Samsung tablet. I can pair both with our iRV-29 in the Bluetooth settings but when I open the app it says disconnected. I try using the app's Bluetooth setup and it can't find the iRV-29. Also I receive app stopped working system notifications as well. This happens on both of my devices. Worthless app and uninstalled!
The app worked good for a week then it wouldn't connect 6 hours after using it in the morning, but the bluetooth said is was connected for audio, I had to cycle power & press BT button on radio inside the trailer to get BT link display, then it started working again, app also displayed message stating that is for older versions of android, message hasn't come back now that it is working again, it's great being able to control the volume while sitting or cooking outside my 2019 rockwood mini lite
This app cannot find my irv 63 Radio in my new camper. I have a Nexus 10 tablet. I have sent a "btsnoop_hci.log" file to the developer. Hopefully the developer can come up with a fix. I am camping again for 3 days, the app cannot see the ,irv 63. Did you find anything in the log file? As of today (July 8th 2021) I have not heard anything from the developer why the Irv 63 does not show up in the app as a device.
Can't get this app to work. Have tried everything. Even looked up the online manual, which tells me to press the VIDEO button to navigate through the operating system. THERE IS NO VIDEO BUTTON on our iRV34. Ridiculous!
Apparently doesn't work with Note 20's. App won't stay running and cannot connect to irv66. The other irv command app for TP33 is also exhibiting the same issues. Worked fine on my previous phones. Please release a patch soon!
Horrible app, only offers Spotify or you tube as streaming options. What about pandora or xm...? Doesn't even connect.. why mess up a perfectly good stereo with this junk!
Tried it in Aug of 2020 and it didn't work well at all. Gave in another chance in April 2021 and it works perfectly on a Android 10 tablet and a Android 11 pixel 3a phone. So I'm revising my review to a more positive one. All in all it's pretty good but nothing fancy about it. Been using the app now for 3 months and it has been rock solid. So I changed my review to 5 stars.
Why am i only able to use spotify, musixsmatch and youtube music to bluetooth????? How about being able to cast amazon music or any other app??? Ridiculous app, not useful at all.
Works on my 2019 rockwood with irv stereo. Awesome to be able to control from outside. Paired easily with stereo. Added a echo dot and now have the ability to tell alexa what to play and then control the rrst from this app.
Worked fine for a few months but now the app won't even open ive Uninstalled several times and reinstalled it but still nothing and my phones its connected but what good is it if the app won't open to control the stereo??? POS!!!!
Garbage app. Went to stream music and it only allows streaming from YouTube music. I contacted the developer and he said it can stream any platform. Mine is defaulted to YouTube music and cannot be changed.
What is up with this POS app!? It doesn't work. Why in the world do I have to download this garbage app to play music through my Bluetooth?? This is soo awful!!
Useless. It just doesn't work. Last update was 3 years ago. New Android phone connects to unit, but app refuses to even recognize the IRV66.
If you select Google play it no longer exists and the app wont let you change. Won't allow BT link with phone Samsung Note9. Will only control radio and dvd now.
Works well for me - easy to connect and will stream whatever my phone is playing be it Pandora, Spotify, Amazon, etc.
Why? Why? Why?!!!! This app won't even open? What? Why? How can you create an app that doesn't even open? What? When!??? When will you fix it? When!!!!!! Who do I contact to fix this???? Why do I even care? I just want to turn on the BT while drinking a beer. Update: Thanks guys! This app is now fixed! I'm drinking and rocking all while stuck in my chair poking at the fire!
I have a 2016 VLite 30 equipped with an iRV Technoligies stereo. The remote quit working. Sirius is connected and playing but no luck with the useless app! One star is generous.
Easy to use. Bluetooth was alreasy setup for playback so all i did wad install the app and it just worked.
This app doesn't work for my Samsung S20 Ultra. Very upsetting being we just bought a camper and I can't get it to work. Hope this gets fixed very soon!!!!
Absolute junk. Wish my Arctic Fox never came with the irv product. App will not work with my galaxy note 9 or iphone. Will be replacing the whole unit soon.
it will not connect I have a S10. the old one worked with my apple. this needs to be fixed please guys do something the reviews are terrible!
Worked fine for awhile but now it will not open. Uninstalled and reinstalled and now it says it's built for an older android.....
IRV is junk. Just replaced the old one.. remote doesn't work and this app doesn't work either!
Can't connect with my new Android phone. Bluetooth pairs just fine...app just will not connect with irv66
App works great but when selecting Bluetooth only Spotiy opens. How can I select Amazon music to play over bluetooth?
No feedback from the app. Makes it difficult to know if you selected a speaker output or not or if the volume is down. Can't tell which input mode you select. I end up having to go inside my trailer to look at the display to make the selections I want. Completely rendering the app useless unless I'm sitting at the kitchen table looking at the radio. Since the app is from 2017 I doubt if it will ever be updated again.
