New Revised Standard Bible (NRSV) Offline Free

The best Bible app! The narrator feature makes "reading" simple when my eyes are tired or I'm on the go. That convenience surely encourages me to "read" the bible more & retain The Word because I can easily go back over verses. The narrator can be adjusted too. The highlighters and notes features provide easy ways to save & comment on specific passages. It remembers where I left off and I can jump around easily. I tried a few other apps, but this is the best and it's free!

Too many adverts and and often embracing when I go back to read a verse, an advert plays loud. It's hard to stop immediately, it just plays, not impressed and it's very sad... 😠😕 the good thing is its easy to refer the book, chapter and verse. A plus point. 👌

Just downloaded. Had NRSV installed on previous phone. Some chapters had verses misnumdered. When pastor would read he would be 2-3 verses behind. I thought he was reading before the starting verse listed in the bulletin. After comparing to our pew bible (NRSV) I found the app to be incorrect. It is not all chapters, just some. It is disconcerting when it happens.

Very helpful and convenient to read and study the Word of God. The user interphase is friendly and easy to use. Checking cross references of verses is extremely easy and fast. God bless all those who have worked making this app live and enlighten all those who use this app.

This NRSV Bible Version App was free. It is online, offline and has a daily Bible reading. I've only just installed it tonight but so far so good. I like this version. I was brought up with the Authorised Version and know numerous verses by heart. This version doesn't seem too far away from what I know and love but the advantage is that it is in a modern language. This is also the version which we use for the Bible readings in our Church.

It's a good app... Only thing is there are ads in between. It creates a little bit of irritation. If this app could function without ads, it would be better. Otherwise I would recommend the readers to download this app... It is useful.

Wonderful app. I learned to navigate by clicking the book I was in at the top and it was a drop down menu with all the books to chose from. Very easy. It also remembers where you left off when you exit.

It's a good app...but we have to choose each time the chapter...it would be good if we are able to choose a particular book and continue to read...its a great opportunity to read the bible any where in our own convenient time

Can you please fix the daily reading, appears to be stuck!! Nice app but not very easy to choose versions of the Bible. I changed it once, but hopeless in figuring out where I did this.

Our new Pastor reads from this version of the Bible and i wanted to follow his readings from a similar Bible app. This app is ok but it doesn't have an option that allows you to take notes, copy & paste sections into a notes section. it also has annoying ads in the app. I'm going back to my faithful KJV Bible app.

Nicely laid out. Easy to use and enough features. To those worried about ads..the developer has to make a living too and if your that concerned just put airplane mode on and read offline so your studies/devotionals are not disturbed. Thank you.

EDIT: I'm not complaining about someone making a living. I just want to pay to remove the ads that fill the screen for 15 secs! They would get paid that way, too! Instead, I'm expected to read the Holy Bible w/ constant ads for worldly things after each page. This disrespects the Lord, & it defiles The Bible. Just think: Are there ads scattered throughout your paper Bible? This could not be a better case study as to why it's written that "...money is a root of all kinds of evil" 1 Tim 6:10

Really good app. Am a bit concerned about the ads. You cannot have ads advertising sniper games on an app like this. And other such ads. Deeply concerning. That is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Very accurate and convenient to use for study and as a spiritual reference tool. I would LOVE to see this Bible combined with a Strong's concordance and, perhaps, with a detailed Bible dictionary. As the very latest Bible revision (1989!), the NRSV united with Strong's concordance would be an unbeatable study and spiritual reference combination. Augmented still further by a Bible dictionary (e.g., Vine's Dictionary) would vault it even higher as a study guide and reference source par excellence.

This is 4.75 stars, I hesitate to give perfect 5 as this version was chosen by my denomintion for pew Bibles, which is why I added the app. The version that enriches one's personal faith and understanding may well vary, but all are sacred.

It's cool using the app, the language is superb, the additional biblical literature books are on point but I feel each verse should be distinct and start on a new line for easy locating.

firstly is best to get yourself familiarize the app, once that done, searching for a passage is easier, it is very suitable in a sense that the Bible is your hand and get you started to read and pray the word of god immediately.

I like the Bible app but the daily Bible verse doesn't change daily I've had it for over a week and a half now checked in every day and it's yet have to changed other than that I like the app it's a really useful tool for studying the word

It is really fantastic though i believe if audio inclusion and interpretation/explanation of key words would perfect the operations.

Aesthetically pleasing, simple and fast to find verses, can read whole books quite seamlessly as well.

As someone that reads the bible daily, I find this app and the NRSV version very comfortable and makes for easy studying. I read all of my daily devotional studies using this app. Thank you for this blessing.

I love using this app to cross check verses and to see how the different words are uses to bring about the word we read. I enjoy this version quite a bit.

Too many ads, then can't get back. I have to close the app. I just want to read the Bible. I know ads are necessary, but they are intrusive.

Was able to easily access and search for what I wanted. Font is good and language is comfortable to read.

Add comes with voice which defies the purpose of a Bible app. Bible app is to be used in churches and other prayer meetings. And then add comes with sound completely defies the devotional purpose of the Bible.

Daily verse never changes, even if you update. I know I have the read offline version but was surprised the daily verse wasn't able to be used when online.
