New Romance of the Three Kingdoms

Would be great if it didn't keep glitching. When you close out and go back in it will keep doing the log in countdown and glitch over and do it again. Sometimes it will tell you that you finished a challenge and to collect your reward but when you go to collect it will give you an error stating you didn't complete it. I love ROTK and have hope this will be a great game when debugged a bit

The game just came out and some people are already waaay front from others even if building is really slow, some controls needs to be looked into ( everytime you want to delete a message from your inbox you need to try and tick the box many times until the game registers, as well as with other controls, mobs on maps) graphic is nice, combat system is different a bit. But you need to reach for your pocket to advance further into the game so I wont be playing anymore.Thank you devz!

The game started off well, played about 2 hours, shut it off and came back only to be caught in an auto-login loop. Tried force closing the game, cleared cache still will not login to google or guest account. Provides auto-logon countdown, loading then back to auto-logon. I would be hesitant to spend a dollar on this game with the potential for this error.

New update: Seller admits there is an error for this purchase. But instead of refunding, they substitute it with an item that I do not want. I do not pay to get those item, it is only fair they refund and void this transaction. Seller just push it to Google and tries to scam your money. Previous review: Still playing after 2 years. I want to like this game since I'm a big Rotk fan since the Snes Era, but after playing this game for 15 minutes, it gave me a headache and I wanna throw my phone at the wall after I'm forced to watch 2 guys on horse back chasing , stall and continue to beat the same opponents over and over again. Why must I need to be lvl 7 to use the 2x speed? That along make me wanna quit, uninstall and never to return. First impressions is everything since there are so many great Rotk games out there that completely got me hooked. Take Dynasty Conqueror for example, their game interface is clean, beautiful background and upgrading building is snappy. This game feel lag on upgrading buildings. I also don't need to see the reward popping up on my screen after an upgrade is completed because it's very annoying seeing dozen of them to pop up on the center of my screen. The city I'm at is dark and depressing, the worst part was seeing the same long announcement about X player getting X general from the long..... X place, while I'm trying to figures out what I need to do next in a gloomy city. Don't get me start with the constant loading of new campaign maps. Finish a quick campaign? Load the map, start a new one? Load the map. Now repeat it like it's your job to staring at loading maps. My top two favorite Rotk mobile games will always be Legend of Cao Cao and Dynasty Conqueror. Ive now put a good bit of time into this game now, and i love ROTK, but this game is exactly what i was afraid of. This New ROTK is virtually identical to all of the other resource collecting/city building/war games. While there are a few things such as story quests, and general management features that differentiate it from others just like it, it just doesnt do enough to make it honestly worth the time. The actual gameplay is non-existent with the exception of simply managing your city. Battle is either automatic and/or is a little scene that plays out that, again, is automatic, even if you can press some buttons to perform simple skills. This game presented itself as something inspired by the awesome ROTKXI ...i played ROTKXI extensively and the ONLY thing taken from ROTKXI are the General portraits, literally. Anyways, i love ROTK, but this mobile "New" ROTK is just dissaponting. "New" isnt the tag it should have been given in the title, because it in the end is a clone of the old.

After the last update I can no longer log into the game. Cleared cache, no effect. Cleared data, no effect. Reinstalled the game twice, and still nothing. It keeps telling me that their servers are not sending out data properly. I feel bad for people that spent hundreds of dollars on a game that they can't play because the developers screwed up an update. Also in game chat does not allow apostrophes, which is silly.

If it were any other cookie cutter, wait timer, City builder nonsense mobile game, it would be pretty good. However, it is advertised as a reboot of the ROTK RPGs. As such, it is terrible. The only leftover scraps from the original, is a bland and pathetic attempt at making the battles more interactive. This is a shameless grab at the name, and should be avoided just like every other city builder mobile game out there.

This style of games has become obsolete and somewhat undesirable, in addition to the presence of many and many games in the same style. I propose that the game be the same as it is on the computer and when you take control of the country you start online battles with other players, whether individual duel between heroes or between two armies

Just another war game where it comes down to 3 or 4 guilds that totally control the game. If you aren't in one of those you're just a farm for them. They level faster because they play more and cooperate so the power disparity grows larger every day you play. Maybe you'll get lucky and get into one of these guilds, but chances are you won't. It requires a large amount of your time and money if you want to contend. Less pay to win than most I will give it that for sure. But the element is still there. I mean this is a cash grab off a popular series after all. The graphics are beautiful, but in the end what does that really matter if the gameplay is basically the same mmo war game that's been around since the opening of Google Play as a thing? Nothing really innovative or different. Just yet another reskinning of a bad game designed specifically to drain you of as much money as possible before you get frustrated and quit. Hope this helps. TL;DR Less pay to win, but still the same basic mmo war game. Time waster.

Very much liked the game and the overall gameplay. The system does need updates. From google auto-login failing, to unable to read certain characters such and , or /. Became so annoying for the login error I have decided to uninstall even though I was a high lvl and leader of clan. Likeiwse the VIP up only by pay is ridiculous, use something like gold up or battle VIP points. If fixed I will reconsider redownload.

Whatever payment you made ingame on whatever item you buy ingame, dev can change it with a notice that there is a mistake. You will not get a refund. It is a trick by dev, they put up a premium item at a very cheap price, then after many bought it, dev will say, it was a mistake, it not the premium that they intend to sell but some cheap item where you can get ingame without paying

I been a fan from the beginning. I still have my NES cartridge and my old PC floppies for the very first game. Though this is awesome it still ranks third for me. Wall of Fire on PSX and VIII on both PS2 and XBox a close second but this is a very close third so far... Might be second but Wall of Fire is still #1. The SNES version wasn't that good though.

Game disconnects all the time and you have to restart to sync. Update 1/10/2021: Uninstalling and going to find something else to play as this app no longer functions properly on either iPhone or Samsung Note 10+. Even after Uninstaller and reinstall on both, it won't load server information and prompts for reconnect.

For those wondering about games needing permission for calls.. it's ONLY for when a call comes through your phone while playing the game. It needs to be able to support that feature without crashing, or disabling your phone. That being said, this game is gorgeous ! Don't be a wimp and try it !

As a long time follower of the story of the three kingdoms this game is a mockery. The support barely speaks the English "necessary to improve and optimize our game" one of the many generic copy and paste answers they provide, no amount of game error will ever cause them to return any form of compensation, I've discovered this as the leader of a high ranking army, and they will only tell you that you can pay gold to fix their errors. dear lord, thanks for your love and support to our game.

Pros: - Campaign is straight forward - Graphics - Variety of characters - Don't need to log in at specific small windows of time to receive energy - Hard currency is not hard to come by Cons: - Turning off push notifications does nothing - UI can be hard to navigate - Help menu isn't very helpful - Text is small and hard to read - VIP system

I played my first Rot3K game back on the good old NES. played almost every other version that came out on consoles/pc. was hoping to bring back the fun and nostalgia. def a pay to win game. S5 was open i think for like 3 hours and there was already a lvl 15 player city. that pretty much ruined it for me.

Made an in-app purchase, gotten what was stated. Less than 24 hours later, developer unilaterally rescinded the purchase. Payment made, gotten nothing! Developer should honour the transaction because the goods/services has been delivered. They chose not to hence the trust is lost because this suggests they can do whatever they want. If a genuine mistake is made, proper arrangements and communication would be decent, not hard-handedly revoke an event or incident. Lousy!

Great gameplay that is free to play friendly. In-depth detail were given to each of the characters. I'm loving the new and fresh idea of a World map where factions of real live players battle it out to conquer the different cities in an rotk game. The game is not stale and grindy like other similar games. But can the developers add extra features such as 1) a "lock" feature for generals to avoid recycling generals needed for bond 2) auto heal and recruit. But overall an awesome game!

Game is severely pay to win. As a longtime RotK fan the idea for an mmo warring states China with clans sounds great on paper, but the execution for this is deeply flawed. Combat against players is basically a numbers game and doesn't require much tact as the battles are played out automatically. Some items like the Peace Token and Teleport token are extremely broken. Game is highly in favor of whales (more so than most gacha). overall this is below average at best, forgettable at worst.
