Disappointed with the update. Lost all my favourites, hard to plan an itinerary. Some things seem to be missing now. But I like the map feature. Sightseeing pass app is much easier to use, and you might want to check it out. I used this pass and app last year and it was fabulous and easy to navigate. Change isn't always good
Can you please fix the brightness! Whenever you access the app, nearly every screen is blown up into ultra-bright mode which is completely unnecessary. It's also a major drain on battery, bad for OLED screens and quite painful on the eyes. Bright node only really necessary on the ticket tab.
Early indications seem OK thus far with one exception. Why on earth is the brightness so high on every screen? It's only needed turning up on the tab that shows the actual digital pass, nothing else. This is really bad for OLED screens and a real battery hog. Totally unnecessary. Please fix.
Service seems a good value for money (haven't used it yet) however the app isn't particularly great, screen brightness is extremely bright regardless to what setting your phone is on, and have been making an itinerary for 20 mins or so, only to not be able to find the itinerary to view..
Great app so far, makes it easy to plan your trip! It's much better than flipping though a booklet. My only issue is with using the search function. I have to exit and restart the app each time I search something new, otherwise the app doesn't respond.
Unusable. App changes the phone brightness to maximum when using and changing the brightness option has no effect unless the app is turned off. Eyes are painful after looking at it for a min
Planned my whole trip and now my itinerary is gone! I don't know what days I've made reservations!
App closes when try to use map on my Samsung S10. Appear to work on iPad. However, although even then it is not practical to choose an attraction by name and see where it is (takes you into Google maps instead)
Wouldnt sync my passes. Tried mulitple times. Just kept refreshing as if i did something wrong. Double even triple checked order and confirmation numbers. App is usless. Dont even bother downloading to save time
Constantly crashes. When clicking on an event for more info, app freezes and then crashes. Not helpful when touring.
We got so much use out of it. If you use the bus pass make sure to keep the ticket they give you with you. We thought we'd have to get a new one but they couldnt print us a new one so we were out of luck. We got our moneys worth just know you have to show the code to get actual tickets so you still have to wait in line but all in all I'm so glad we got this. Saved us a lot of money.
I downloaded the app to sync my physical pass, but app just kept freezing despite multiple attempts. It was practically useless, waste of data.
Cant sync my pass... I bought a physical pass but haven't redeemed it yet. The confirmation ID received by email doesn't work in the app even though the NY Pass support has confirmed that my pass is valid.
I am a techno-phobe, but have tried multiple times to download the app to my old Samsung tablet and it doesn't download properly. I need to activate my pass but it doesn't give me the option to do so. Not too sure what to do as I fly tomorrow.....
Great concept, but the app crashes on me every time after about two minutes of use. Makes it unusable.
Clear, interesting, informative and fun - so much easier to plan our itinerary with this app, so that we make the most of every second
Just decided to stop working. Stuck one thing. Sent the company an email but so far have not got a reply. Will make it rough to use the pass without the app working.
Can NOT ride after 4pm. According to the drive. They don't scan your app ticket, and won't let you ride the bus. Just a little tip.
great app bit you cant see the popular times correctly? You can see the graph but not the actual times.
App continuously freezes and stops responding on my S10. Another review also stated problems using the app on the S10.
Cannot bring up the my favourites screen I have been able to once or twice but don't know how I did it? OK I have worked it out so upped to 4 stars
Back button doesn't work after I open the list of my favorites. Rest of the things are good.
Not intuitive and doesn't calculate est time's for you to understand how many attractions you can visit in a period of time.

Just freezes when entering pass code, just hope it works by the time I go to NY.
The best went a few yrs ago was fun but the child age should bee increased to 15...a 13 to 15 is still a child/dependent...
Buggy app, terrible customer service, pass not worth the money, descriptions on some of the activities in the app are lies. Avoid!!!
This review is about the app but also about the pass itself (the app is useless without it). The pass is ok, you can save money if you were going to do the stuff it offers anyway, but be warned: some things didn't have any tickets left when we tried to book (and we didn't even go during busy season), so the value you get can be greatly reduced. The times posted are also sometimes wrong (we weren't able to do one thing because we got there when it was closed) and the descriptions are misleading
