I've read the Sports section of this paper my whole life and once I moved to NJ I switched to the tablet version and it's horrible. At first it was pretty cool you could zoom making the font as big or small as you wanted, but they continued to make adjustments and now the fonts so small I can barely read it. No longer paying $9.99 for this when I have to read with a magnifying glass.

Cannot SAVE downloaded issues of the N.Y. Post since the app update of November 1st, 2021. Version 4.0.10-Google (on Chrome OS,) the issues are downloaded, however, they do NOT apppear on the 'Saved Issues' section of the Print Edition. Please fix ASAP, I do not want to lose my issues. Thanks.

Better than last iteration. More issues to view than before. Still a better deal than to get that print edition at the newsstand.

New version makes print version harder to use. Screen control changes are not for the better.

Bob. L. Nov 27, 2019

Waaay too slow loading. Terrible experience. Once loaded, content is very good.

Crashes, malfunctions

The new redisgned update has made the news paper edition much worse. It does not change pages as smoothly as the old version and it does not go back to the original size when changing pages. Redisgn is a fail.

I need more experience w/app.

Hil. C. May 14, 2017

Even though I set the print version as my default version to automatically download, it never downloads until I force it manually. Makes it hard to read the paper in the subway.

Huge ads on every page. Not sure a yearly subscription should include this much advertising.

After last update app fails to open, just goes black & freezes. Tried deleting, rebooting & reinstalling app. Did not help

I keep getting ",can not verify subscription" notified NYP Holdings and got no response.

Just want readable that day. Eats up tanlet memory. Type too small. Liked old format better.

not free as advertised

I had actually canceled my subscription because the old app could not handle the Android update. The new app follows the actual format of the paper. It now displays the videos (no big deal). But it also now has all the sports stats, which were missing in the previous app. I would have appreciated a "heads up" that this upgrade was in the works. Customer service is absolutely horrible. But, bottom line, they got the job done.

Hard to believe the Post could take such a huge step backwards, going from an outdated app to one that's pretty much completely unusable. The idea, after all, is to be able to read the paper. How could the editors have allowed this? Please roll back to the old app until you get this right.

Wil. P. Sep 26, 2014

This update is now formatted to my new Android tab and I will renew my subscription which ends next week. I can now read the articles as they appear in the printed version. Great job.

What does the tagline below the stars "For an Older Version" refer to? I see under most negative reviews. My comments are NOT for an older version! I have an android tablet running jelly bean and I downloaded the most recent app. like to download the day's issue first thing in the morning then read on the subway. Half the content now needs an Internet connection. Photos now need to download. I guess I could try to guess which content needs a connection before I leave the house. Too much of a pain

Mar. J. A. Sep 24, 2014

Can't read it. Small print & when you enlarge you can't scroll to see the rest of the page. I will not be renewing. Who thought this was an improvement?

Ric. R. May 23, 2014

I love the post, it's the only paper I read so when this app came out I got the subscription, this app can be great it just really needs to be fixed a bit. Too many bugs, always crashes, or stays frozen on the red NY POST startup screen. I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app quite a few times. Please fix this app for guys like me that pay to use it.

Joe. S. Jan 6, 2014

this article written by the NY Post is very anit-semitic. It is only posting negative comments about the Jewish people

lew. s. May 5, 2014

The content is great, it feels like reading a paper. But the ap is buggy and is never fixed. It stops almost every time the tablet sleeps or changes to landscape. I am amazed that this can not be fixed.

Tom. C. May 25, 2014

Please add support for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. The formatting is way off. Three pages are smashed into one and are not readable. Maybe the 2500 × 1600 resolution is throwing it off.

Ern. M. Aug 25, 2014

All the reviews are true the app is horrible. Don't waste your time or money. Tying to get help is like talking to a robot, canned script after canned script.
