I like being able to read the news whenever I want but it doesnt always have the latest news. Its annoying to see an article in facebook, go to the app and its not even on there.
For the past two months the app keeps freezing up. After 30 seconds it completely stops
It is very irritating trying to navigate this site. I can't get them to stop charging my card $10 a month, meanwhile I also can not sign in !
Cant even open up. The ad to get subscription is all that comes up. Fix this please.
Too hard to navigate without it saying for subsriction only but i pay for it and cant use it
Glitchy. And the repeated sign in for subscribers is annoying.

News about 2 days late.
Was happy with the app as I cannot afford to buy the newspaper but now I am getting "You have viewed 21/25 of your alotted articles"... I have had this app for over 2 years and now they do this :-( Not worth keeping if I am only allowed to view 25 articles a month when I usually view 5 or more a day...
This app has top of the page stories on it for days. The ads are intrusive, & there is way too much sports stories in it. The news is old after 2 days but is still the top story.
Want classified section.

Good app- just could use an overhaul on UI. Seems like you have to dig around to look fore specific stories & the drop down menu --- most of the sections stories aren't updated very often. Would really like to see more about my towns history under section of same name
Quit pushing sports as breaking news! I'm about to uninstall due to the constant obnoxious push notifications about local sports. It's sports new not breaking news, I have no interest in sports news

No comments. No obits. I use the mobile website. I keep this only for the push notifications.
Push notifications are nice, but that's about it. App crashes frequently, not as up-to-date as mobile web, no obits. A good app replaces the mobile web page. This one does not meet that criteria.
Does not have all current local news, no link to Advocate website, no search functions, no link to help, no link to Advo contacts. Stick with the full website.
Didn't run well on my LG and not being able to search by page for a memorial ad was a drawback..
It's okay, but I don't like push notifications because they drain my battery. I wish we could comment on articles. I'll just stick to the mobile website.
I have subscribed for a few years. It was always 4.99 a month. I just found out that in April this year they jumped to 9.99 without my permission or without me adding anything to it. Totally has gotten away with it because I started having trouble getting into my pnc account. They finally got it fixed and now I can see my statements. Very upset with them.
