Newegg Mobile

The mobile app is pretty bad. 1st, theres a problem with page caching. I can click a link to a product with one price and see a totally different price. If I refresh the page (by pulling down on the screen), it shows the price I originally clicked to see. If I refresh again, it goes back to the other price. 2nd, there is no queue for hot items. You can click "Add to cart" on an item and get the green check telling you it was added. But then when you go to the cart, its empty, and item shows OOS

Only reason it's not 5 stars now is because after a recent updates the apps been like laggy. Like things load up but the page doesn't go down as fast as it did further up the page when scrolling. Sometimes it over laps within the scrolling. Which makes things blury af when it's scrolling. even though I'm only scrolling past 2 products at a time if that. the most recent one is making it happen all over the place even on the main screen. Idk if its something not being optimized or what?

I have been doing business with Newegg since 2005. I've always been super happy with their products and services. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the app has been a bit laggy on my device, even after several reboot cycles. No other apps have that issue so I know it's their software and not my phone. Will continue to buy from them, just do your research and always read the reviews; especially if you buy from a third party on the marketplace.

So far so good. Looks just like the website. Operates mostly the same. I was a little disappointed that the coupon online specifically for use on mobile app didn't work for me but it seems there are stipulations for use of those and that are not made known such as having to work at a specific company and such. I went through customer service to find that out about 2 other codes. I figured this particular code would work as long as I used the app. Not going to waste MOREtime contacting them.

I like using the app as much as the web browser version on a PC. The thing is it's nicer for quick part searches. Not good for multiple parts view only because app view layout but is great to just scroll and enjoy. Im contradictory but you understand when you use a computer. The difference between apps and real webpage views.

Way too busy...To much onscreen at once. Also can't edit reviews I've done when a seller solves an issue after the review. Pictures and text way too small as so much info is piled onto one screen. Then menu navigation is difficult and app is frequently exited as app doesn't respond so you do the press again and then it suddenly acts on every press. Can't use phones back key to go back. Have to use apps controls only. Many security issues, can't disable cookies or 2 part authentication.

Good design can be described as "easy and intuitive," and I think this app does it. The absence of issues and ability to perform as well as their website says more than nitpicking ever will. If you like buying stuff from Newegg, you might as well get the app.

At first found it difficult to search by components. But there are 2 ways to go to this feature. I do like that's it's as fluent as the website. I do not like that on mobile, the website forces the use of the app.

I must say the Newegg app has come a long way. In the beginning it was a bit stuttery and more like a full pc website, now it feels much more like a mobile app store. Much easier to navigate and page transitions are quicker, my browsing time is short enough I can actually check pirces on various items within minutes. Thanks Newegg, good work.

Can't use the app with a VPN! I keep getting an error that "your current configuration may not be compatible". The Newegg app is the only one that has issues.

Way too overpriced I was looking for pieces for my controller on my Xbox I had built one whole shell and all buttons and everything for around $65 on Amazon I was looking for prices on here cuz I wanted to see if they have anything different and the same products that I'm paying 15 bucks for on Amazon are like $35 do not waste your money go to Amazon instead

The app is very clean and easy to use. Their website is mobile friendly but this is even better when you're on the go. Being able to shop for expensive computer components easily and one-handed is dangerous but awesome simultaneously.

The app works great. It's just like most marketplaces, functionality is nice. In fact, it is like most marketplaces! Bought out by a parent company, I feel like the Egg has lost its values. It is an eBay alternative at this point. The lowest rating I've seen in a seller was 50%. Didn't see many. I won't shop here anymore though, sorry. Thank you for being a great company in the past. (Other places have WAY better protection offers too) Much respect to the founder, that stays in my heart.

Terrible cancel order system. I was looking at a specific brand of headphones and it showed a refurbished pair of that brand on a sale with only 4 minutes left because i saw that new they sold around 200. Turns out it was made in 2014 and is E waste there is no way to cancel the order with out contacting this random seller and its 3am its still in processing but there is no way to cancel things on this app. How can i not cancle an order i made in 20 minutes after ordering.That guy isnt even up

When I had ordered a product from "Newegg" the app was very helpful and easy to use. The compare option is VERY useful for finding the best products and sort through the sea of items to choose what's needed at a great price. I'll only be ordering from Newegg as an electronics provider for all my present and future needs.

Lowered my rating due to several issues with sellers recently. My recent order has 2 items with issues, and the worse one was $60 of magnetic blocks for my daughter. The payment went through, but after 12 days, my order still says "in-processing". I can't even leave a bad review on the seller through the app, so Newegg gets my bad review instead. Update - The order was voided, I just still cannot leave a review for the seller. At least I believe I got the refund though.

Probably spent way too much money with Newegg. Even amidst the whole 'open box' debacle; they've never done me wrong. Returned a MB and upgraded to a new one, no issues. Quad-pay makes things super easy to get too, perhaps too easy. Thanks Newegg.

Most apps feel a little clunky when going through their market places, but this one is smooth, on point, and you get plenty of info on the products. I always know what I'm buying, and with the reviews, I can make a customer-to-customer informed decision.

I have been using the Newegg app for years now and love how easy it is to find what I need and get product information. I used it recently to buy all the parts to build 2 new computers and upgrade a third computer for my family. This app made it a pleasant experience.

Solid alternative to Amazon. I've used Newegg for over a decade. Not as great at customer service as they were before the Chinese Corp takeover, but they've made recent strides thanks to some noteworthy YouTube tech stars making a big deal of those c/s failures. If you hate Amazon and it's business practices as much as I do, Newegg is a solid alternative for your electronic business

Update for my last review. Package showed up earlier than expected as first package showed up near dinner time second one showed up right at noon. Impressed with the condition for being open box it must have just been an unhappy customer or a wrong color zero damage looks 100% new not a scratch. Thank you Newegg I will be ordering more in the future possibly building more computers as I did decades ago

Has a few benefits over the mobile site. It's snappy and you get notifications on order status. Cons: the very top slice of the screen is cutoff on my pixel phone, which inhibits using the search bar to edit a search.

As both a Technician and a Programmer using this app has been an absolute need for whenever a client or me needs parts to fix whether it's a computer or even a simple IDF cabinet in a server. Newegg always supplies and provides on time! Heck they even supplied me with my most recent desktop; custom ordered parts but already pre assembled and built! Absolutely love it! For anyone in the IT Industry, Newegg is a must have!
