It was a excellent app, until recently! The Local Radar screen that I see now is like what you would have seen when AOL 1.0 arrived. Yes, I mean back in the days when you had to sign in by a Dial up service! They took something that wasn't broken. I have been a loyal follower, & supporter of Pinpoint pictures. But I can't honestly step down from what you had, to this. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note8. Had this comment box allowed me to share pics, you'd see what I mean... Sorry Tom
Absolutely the MUST HAVE of weather apps for weather addicts to hurricane prone areas! I have had just about all the most popular apps for weather, NONE compare. Even the pay for apps dont measure up. Sorrels and company have really put the time in to make sure this is your one stop news and weather resource to cover every angle from local sunshine and temps, to tropical forecast models. Its well worth installing! Two thumps WAY up! 💥😁
From a FL native: This is probably the BEST hurricane app I've seen. It includes Forecast, Updates, Radar & Spaghetti Models! The only other thing I'd like to see are the Invest areas in the tropics that are being monitored for development. I still have to use NOAA NHC for that.
Best free hurricane app there is! It's updated frequently and shows the key maps, charts, and forecasts needed by anyone who lives in a hurricane prone area. This one app is on all my devices, both Apple and Android.
Useless. Very little useful information given. Posting a new headline on old information is not an update. The weather channel app is vastly more informative and far less annoying. Don't waste your time with this app.
Its been 2 years that you have not fixed the black screen on the video, what is the problem. Everything else I love about the app. I would give it a five star when you fix the black screen problem.
New 6 PINPOINT Hurricane Tracker is a very good app. The app. always keeps you informed of when there is a Tropical storm or Hurricane. I like that it shows the path of the Tropical storm or Hurricane. I would definitely reccomend this app.
Very descriptive app, new bulletins frequently. I would like to be able to mute alerts of storm systems not in my area though.
Living in Central Florida I depend on the Channel 6 Hurricane Tracker app. It is very reliable to send updates on pending storms & especially alerts on local activity. Thanks Tom Sorrells for a good job.
My go to app for hurricane news that is right to the point with the information I need about my Central Florida home. Light on annoying advertising that you find on all other general weather apps.
I like that i can see maps of where the tropical storms are, and i also like the hurricane prep section, as well as the weather videos.
Appreciate the global models. Wish they were larger to separate easier . an explanation of models on site would allows us more info on site. Keep up good work.
Very helpful during multiple storms. Many other weather forecasts only covers the one closest to the area! Well done! 🌊🌪️🌀
It was informative. Got so tired of TV all day. Trying to find something to talk about the storm. This app did the job. No trivia yak.
Updates all the time. Gives cone, satellite, and models. Explains where the storm is located.
Same as WPLG Miami, good WX app. And you can't and won't please everyone. Your app, Max Tracker a long with Storm Radar, WX got it covered. Thanks, nice job.
Very helpful and current. Only sometimes the radar doesn't work. I find they a right on with the strom
great app, a little generic. hurricane models should have moving paths to make it more realistic
Other than the ever constant updates which may have nothing to do with your area, it does give accurate accounting of the weather.
Always accurate and informative. Let's me know when I really need to pay attention to the Tropics!
Tom and the crew are professional and precise. If your not watching news 6, your not getting the most accurate forecast.
it is ok the notification show only part of what is happening with the hurricane when i click on the notification i still have to huhnt for the update or more then not forget it
Really like the simple and informative layout. I get all of the information I need to see what is happening and what's coming.
Always depend on Tom Terry. He's the best! I couldn't make it thru storm season without him!
This is the best free hurricane app I've ever used. I still use it even after moving away from Florida up to NC. It's small and loads quickly, info is accurate, and ads are unobtrusive. Obviously you'd want the NOAA site for mega details but this is perfect for keeping up with basic conditions and relevant forecasts/warnings as well as tropical storm development throughout the Atlantic.
