News 8000 First Alert Weather

It's a very unreliable app. The forecast is almost always wrong. If it tells you a light dusting of snow is coming you'll get 4 inches. If it says it'll be partly cloudy overnight you'll wake up and have to clean off your car. It seems the only thing it gets right is the temperature.

Overall this could be a fabulous app if it could: 1) Allow one to clear out old video forecasts, and 2) Fix the strange issue with radar maps incorrectly loading. I currently have about 2 dozen old video forecasts with no means of deleting them. I tried clearing the cache, clearing the history, uninstalling and reinstalling the app... but the old history and settings just keep coming back.

Even after disabling the background data in the settings, it still uses Mb's of data each time I have it open. I had it for a week and it used 150 mb of data. Fix this and I'll use it again.

Horrible app! Keeps stopping every few minutes and draining my battery in the process. Had to uninstall.

The last update is causing issues where even if I turned off certain functions they keep turning themselves on.

I don't like getting weather alerts for nice weather. I didn't want an app that would send out alerts for 75° days.

It keeps turning the extra station alerts back on after I go into settings and turn them off.

The app overrides the "notification" settings option when it's switched off If they fix this I would give it a 5...

I haven't been able to load anything one this app for a week... not the maps, daily forecasts, nor the weekly forecast

way way way too many notifications. that are not severe weather related. until they makes this severe only do not install

Informative amd simple to use. Lots of details. Would like the option to change widget color. To high data usage uninstalled

The app keeps opening on its own in front of apps that I am actively using. Especially happens when I rotate my phone. Please fix. If it was not for this, would be a 5 * rating. Update: I had to uninstall because this got so annoying. Open another app, this one opened. Set my phone down with the screen on, this app opened. Unlock my phone, this app would open. It gets really old having to continually close an app that you did not open.

For what it shows it ok, radar needs state and county lines on map! And what about the allergy alerts and air quality? I have to keep going back to TWC For These...and there is no point in having both apps.

I couldn't be happier with the app. It adds a nice temperature reading to the top of the phone and at the lock screen. The severe alerts and videos are great for keeping aware for bad weather coming later in the day. I switched from a larger weather app because the temp and forcast was pretty far off and I'm glad I did.

This app is Amazing. Has ringtones for weather alerts and very impressed with live radar and getting notified when sever weather is around

I'm loving this so far. I love the notifications of the short video forecast.
