Ok. Got this for weather alerts, tornados, and such. The ability to watch live, from my phone... well and good. I dont like to watch the news alerts, because i mind data, etc.... but the links work... however, none of the headline, breaking news, article type links work. I just get the home page, and can never find the story the alert was telling me about. Its highly frustrating. Dont put out an alert, without a landing page for it.

Read the other bad reviews. The notifications dont always take you to the proper story and also I can't read the whole notification. The old version was much better. When it sends the notification, there's only like 4 words of the title. I tried to search for the details on an active shooting and when I clicked on it, it didn't take me anywhere. I feel like it shouldn't be that hard to find details on such a huge story. This app DOES NOT KEEP YOU INFORMED!

This use to be a good app. We used the weather info and their ESP Radar regularly. something has changed in the past 30 days, because it won't load the ESP Radar, and random other things. their service stinks. We've messaged them 3 times to ask for feedback and help. we have gotten no response. it has been 3 weeks. We have began using a different news station's app.

Please fix two things. 1. I need control over the alerts I receive. I can't turn them off or limit them in any way. I want weather and breaking news, but I get a zillion alerts that just don't matter to me. 2. I cannot watch videos all day, but can quickly scan an article. seems the majority of alerts I click are videos.

New app jumps around as I'm reading due to pop up's and ads loading making it difficult to read news. It's basically not a simple app anymore. Also, I can no longer share a story with a simple link. The app requires full 3rd party access to my contacts which I won't allow for obvious privacy reasons. I like news 9 but I'll probably be moving away from this app until it become easy to use again.

Everytime I try to click on a notification about traffic or really anything it gives me an ad video and then sends me to something that's completely unrelated. To make it worse the News homepage once you actually open the app only has a few stories and won't load anymore. I prefer to get my news from News 9 but you have the worst app out there.

New app design is horrible! Everything is cluttered and appears like a 5yr old designed the new UI. Plus, with all the local news stories that could be put on the app, why recycle older national news? Uninstalling. Remember the old saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it! See ya'!

The recent update is terrible. The font is way too large. When you go into settings and try to fix the issue, it doesn't change. Also, opted out of news alerts and still getting alerts! This update has too many bugs. Please fix.

Love this news channel and its coverage. However, after turning off notifications for the app I continue to get blown up with what seems like about 50 notifications every day. unfortunately until this is resolved I am going to have to delete the app. Hope to be back soon though.

Wow! The update rolled out March 11, 2018 is a vast improvement. I appreciate the CHOICE of watching videos or reading stories (prefer to read). The "current weather" page is strikingly beautiful and very informative. This version looks like a keeper.

Majority of the push videos do not load, and I have to reinstall the app every 2 weeks for it to work. I use 3 other news apps because news 9 needs to upgrade. Very relevant content, but frustrating for the user. Please get your tech guys to fix it.

I had tornado sirens going off at 5am. So I opened this app to get the live weather. The only thing that I got to play were ads. I downloaded KFORs app and used it to look at the live weather feed. Thank God it wasn't real close to me. Definitely not a good app for emergencies.

Too many notifications. I had this app for a day hoping it would be good for weather alerts but received WAY too many notifications. Weather notifications were lost and you can't change it in any settings.

I'm sick of getting push notifications constantly and not being able to see the story. Every time I click on the notification, it takes you to the app but doesnt show the story. This has been going on for months and is ridiculous.

App use to be great not so now most recent update it won't load says failed to get data from server. I was already to delete this app due to issues it had way ro may ads pop up right in the middle of reading article. Now may be a good reason to delete and be done with it.

I would give more than one star on this, but it really angers me to have to watch many commercials, before I'm even allowed to watch the news video. I think this is unacceptable for mobile users. It eats up my data when I must sit and watch all those commercials. I can see viewing one commercial, before the news story, but several is excessive. Please consider fixing this, and I will give a higher rating, if not, then I will need to delete this app, as it's not useful to me this way.

The old version was great I could open it and check weather in my area. The update has screwed every thing. I do not have time nor do I want the news. It does not load quickly and i have uninstalled it multiple times. Dont like accuweather as well as 9 but it is better than nothing. 9 ap is worse than nothing

This app crashes all the time. I have always been a News 9 app user but now going to Channel 4. I gave you a chance to fix the app, but it is going on 20 days of poor service. In a competitive arena you lost a viewer/user.

latest update is terrible with even more invasive ads and notifications you cant control like you used to be able to. used to be you could control the topics now its all or nothing. ads dont even fit the the screen properly on larger phones .

Notifications are frustrating. When they are turned on, I get bombarded with them. So, I turn them off. But... the next time I open the app, they automatically get turned back on. Ugh!!

I'm a News 9 fan. However, the app.... I've turned off notifications at least 3 times in the last month. I turn them off, and it turns itself back on. Please fix.

Not very user friendly. Can not see weather without turning on GPS locator. Other apps allow you to type in zip code. Stays running using battery after you turn it off.

I liked the other version better. This one seems like it's a desktop version that's not compatible with mobile devices. It always looks like something is waiting to load, like the page is incomplete.

Constantly sends alerts that do not go to the story. Weather alerts that lead to no where. 3 out of 10 alerts actually work as they should. App is good just turn off alerts.

Tried to watch my favorite Oklahoma's own channel 9 news and can't because of the constant buffering 😭 Why is this happening? It didn't used to a long time ago. And Why can't someone fix it? I don't like watching KOCO . But am forced too. Send me an email when you get this fixed please.
