Game Mechanics:
The game is simple. Deliver newspaper to your subscribers (houses with blue mailbox) and avoid random obstacles as you travel the town. Collect tips for every successful delivery and pick up power ups on the road which can help you on your survival. Gain experiences at every run you finish and become the News Hero. Unlock all unique rides and impress your friends or opponents on how strong you are.
Enjoy online and offline mode! Play the new awesome multiplayer game modes (Survival, Deathrun and Tandem). These game modes can be played with your friends using LAN connection or beat anyone around the world using the Internet connection.
You can connect your Google Play account to unlock achievements and compete to the leaderboards.
You can also gain access to Google Cloud Saving to save and load your progress.
Log in your Facebook account to personalize your Midgard News ID.
This game contains advertisements that are shown only upon player's request. It DOES NOT SHOW until the user wanted to have a reward for watching it, such as reviving the player if the game is over or additional coins.

Great graphics & game play. For me, the game goes pretty fast at the beginning. There are a lot of objects to avoid & the dog never stops chasing you. I'm not able to relax & enjoy trying to get the hang of throwing the news papers into the mail boxes. It feels rushed. The original Paperboy game goes a lot slower with less objects in the beginning & you can slow your bike speed down. Other than that. It's a fun game!
Potential to be amazing.. I like it for about 15 mins and multiplayer doesn't seem to work or no one playing so I mean one level, one goal... Maybe future try having multiple terrains for the purpose of the different bikes honestly I have horse, motorcycle, bike, etc ... same thing from each... Mini games, better upgrades maybe helmet, shoes, etc customize characters and able to pick color of bike... But great graphics & concept... be back in the future
Game is not too bad but there are just little too many obstacles that slows you down. And sometimes it all becomes a little too much with doggy chasing you, cars coming from the front and then obstacles slowing you down. This wont stop me playing the game though
A few things need to be sorted out, namely: 1. It says that you're entitled to a "reward" every 5 or 6hrs, but when you click on the box that says "accept reward now", nothing happens. What exactly is this reward you speak of? 2. The game doesn't show how many coins you have. How are you meant to know which vehicle you can buy (if any) if you don't know how many coins you have? 3. The game gets fast too quickly. I'll give 5* once these issues are sorted.
I don't remember the dog being quite so intense neither on the C64 version nor the Arcades, but the soundtrack and graphics are actually quite nice, though ofcourse the soundtrack by Mark Cooksey from the C64 version leaps to mind as Paperboy was one of my favourite C64 games back in the eighties.
Click bait. Was looking to try and download a similar version to the old retro paperboy game from the game boy, this is not it. Vaguely similar layout but much slower gameplay and adverts after every 2 minutes/life.
The only thing that is needed for this game is that the the news papers are not throwing out the house windows like the old school paperboy game. I find it a bit boring.
Havnt been able to try it yet so.wont say the game is bad but its having issues implementing fb login on this game.. so thts the issue. Will uninstall and hopefully itll be fixed in the future..
Please fix all vehicles a little faster than the dog!!! 😠😠😠Only Leyzr faster, all other vehicles sucks and give each vehicle a special ability.
Game is awesome for the first 10 minutes. Need to add more levels or ways to advance in the game.

Hey man, you tried.
The controls were pretty easy at first, but throwing the paper was still a challenge. Unless you were right at blue mailbox you would never get it inside of it. Plus it was hard to tell if you were stuck playing in the same level, or if you were playing different levels/neighborhood. The Nintendo version of Paperboy will always be better than this app.
