I really need help on the settings on Google Play so I can get it Installed and Uninstall Apps. I really need lots of Updates and Late Breaking News Coast To Coast. I'm really going to look great and to avoid a lot of stress by doing Crossword Puzzle during my spare time. I really need Troubleshooting Steps to get it fixed right away. I want to look ahead and see if they need help on something. For example, I seen a lots of Play Store and choose the one that fits rather than going over. thanks.

Upgraded to latest version and my old (local) news source was gone! Uninstalling. . ...

Terrible!!! When Setup was completed, the ap took over the function and operation of the home screens; changed icons, rearranged icons, removed some icons and widgets. Extensive changes! I was alarmed by the behavior of this ap, and went to uninstall immediately - but I couldn't - the ap removed access to traditional "Settings". It took about 10 or 15 minutes, but I finally figured out another way in so I could uninstall. Once uninstalled, everything went back to normal. DON'T CHANGE MY PHONE!

Love the reporting but stay away from their app. It totally took over my phone. I mean it changed the look of all other icons, replaced my clock, weather widgets, text app, etc. It doesn't even look like my phone screen anymore. I'm deleting the app and hope everything returns to my original look. Again... I support them but NOT their app. Terrible. I thank the developer for responding to explain what happened. Suggest making it clearer in the app to prepare people for what could happen if the wrong selection is made. I've modified my rating from a 1 to a 3. Love the news and info without the censorship.

everything is great don't change a thing except for upgrade.

Wife installed this on her phone and it messed up phone badly in many ways. In settings > apps, Uninstall was grayed out, so you couldn't get rid of it there!! Icon on phone was completely different than icon in play store, making it difficult to identify the right thing to uninstall in play store. Fortunately I found it in the play store among the countless other news apps, and was able to uninstall there. Immediately all the problems on the phone went away.

No! I was simply trying to see the local news and somehow all of my phone settings changed and I get these alerts from the app that I don't want and I don't know how to change it back...

Do not install this app because it will mess up your phone previous view and it will not let you uninstall from app manager. You have to come back to playstore to uninstall it which I didn't know and it takes me awhile to figure this out. This app is very annoying it changes your phone's home screen, it shows up every on your screen, it's very intrusive, and it slows down your phone. I would give it a 0 star if I have that option.

If I could give it a zero I would. Once downloaded, it added four more apps for my phone that had nothing to do with newsbreak. It also changed we're all of my apps were on my phone and put them into folders where it was very difficult to find them. Then, it would not let me uninstall it in the normal manner. I had to use backdoor method to get it off my phone! Absolute worst app I have ever had

I simply can't. I wanted to give this a try but it's far too invasive. I need an app that I can tap it's icon, and open it up. I don't want an app that overrides my entire phone, changes my entire user interface, my icons, removes my side scroll app to replace it with its own removing my Samsung tv and news features from the user interface Installing this app was like playing 52 card pickup with my phone. I could find no setting to return my phone to normal, so i had to delete the app.

OMG....I couldn't agree more with the negative comments here. For a moment I thought my phone is doomed for good. I just wanted to read some good news from around the world. But when I installed this Breaking News App all other Apps in my phone disappeared. Frantically searching for a way to uninstall this App but it was not easy. Somehow I managed to remove it but not sure if it is completely uninstalled.

Stop prompting ppl to get this app. I have deleted this app off of this phone for the user twice now an somehow feel it will get downloaded again via coercive, intrusive, play store app prompts by that cannot be avoided.!! 🤬 I had to uninstall from the play store this time as it wouldn't uninstall in app settings.! No more"life invader app"that illuminates the phone and makes audible signals when you're NOT even using device. I refuse to evaluate/rate an app that coerced it's own consumption.!

Be very aware that this app comandeers your phone and becomes the first visual all the time, making it your "home" page. It rearranges your app pages and navigating to other apps becomes a chore. So tell me, would news be the priority of an app that does this? I think NOT. Trying to uninstall was also a chore because navigating back to the install page provided no uninstall feature until I repeatedly opened and closed the app page.

I don't enjoy thus taking over my main page when I open my cell phone. needs a bit more organization. but I do enjoy the news

A very good news app, in that it shows news from a variety of sources. If there are problems with story selection, it's because many of the other news outlets leave much to be desired. News Home does seem to offer articles and sources that should fit anyone's taste or perspective.

So I do see how people are getting frustrated but you should also read the description before downloading which yes I am guilty of all the time. But I actually do like this app. You can go in your phone settings to set your normal screen as the default. When this downloads it does set as your default home but all you have to do is change it back. If your getting too many notifications then you can go in the settings click news home app and click notifications and set how many times it notifiys.

AWFUL!!! Completely took over my device. Added features that had NOTHING to do with news; like a games link on the home page. Changed my home page to its own. And, I couldn't change anything on it. So, I'm uninstalling the app to be able to use MY phone. CRAPPING app... I wish I could give it negative stars. REPLY TO DEVELOPER: Thank you for your time and response. I simply deleted the app. That fixed it. I would suggest you explain the behavior of your app more clearly for future users.

This is the worst app I've ever gotten ever ever! It ruined my phone it changed everything got rid of things And it won't let me put them back!!! I Have to take My phone to get it repaired and to get the stupid app off !because it refuses to be removed! It will not let me uninstall!!! Does anyone know how to remove this app??? Don't get it it changes the outweigh of your phone and it won't let you take control over it! Is extremely unhappy and very very upset!

Terrible app! It has screwed up everything on my phone, including giving me a weird new search bar, or at least this search bar showed up at the same time that this mess of an app appeared. I don't even know how I ended up with this on my phone. Gonna have to take my phone somewhere to get rid of this and all the changes it's made on my phone.

How hard is it to develop a simple app that doesn't take over and rearrange your phone display. The app doesn't warn you about the major display changes that will ensue. Don't install! There is a way to uninstall & return your phone to its prior condition. I believe it was through some FAQ process, but I would have to reinstall it to find the process. No way!

I really appreciate being able to include or discard news sources. What I don't appreciate is that when I select a news story, it will be blocked if it does not reflect the current DC party line. That only serves to put the app into the mix with the rest of the party line news apps. Interestingly, right after I posted this I was able to access the same story. If that holds, I can up the review to 5 stars.

Accurate, Timely. informative.

It took up way too much storage and my phone started freaking out when I started using the app. Once it actually opened and loaded, the design was horrible and confusing and they asked for wayyy too much personal information. When I decided to delete the app it took two days to uninstall and made my phone lag while it did. Dont even bother with it.

YES the app uninstalls! (Settings -> Apps -> NewsHome -> Home -> Launcher) It'll default back to your phone's original config, THEN you uninstall. Personally I love the reconfiguration which is HARMLESS and NECESSARY for the apps intended functions. Endless categories/sources/outlets/topics to follow (bias&unbiased) and the ability to block them. Ads are unobtrusive. Great layout. Love the -1 screen for news and other new features to customize my phone. Way better than what my Pixel 2 came with!

This app jumped up without my approval. It blocked my screen until I clicked on the only place available. I couldn't even answer a call. Huge No No. Speedy reply from the deevelopers and I appreciate their offer to help very much. It may very well be a great app but I know I did not request it, and once it appeared I found it very difficult to uninstall. I did so when I learned that I could uninstall it frrom the AppStore. It is probably a very good app. I say this because they responded very quickly, and sincerely. If I discouraged anyone from trying this app I apologize, you should give it a try if you are curious. just remeber, it uninstalls from the AppStore.
