Beware. Easy to sign up. Super difficult to cancel this subscription. It should be easier to do within the app. Then you have to attempt to call or chat and good luck with that. It takes too much time.
The original app in the Newspaper format was easy to access & locate the sections of the paper!!! I will be canceling my subscription because of this format!!! You couldn't leave well enough alone could you???
The previous version of the News-Journal-Daytona-Beach was much easier to navigate. I've been an online user subscriber since the first official offering. This version is a huge disappointment and step backwards.
User support is non-existent. I pay for a subscription and cannot access the newspaper. No phone # or email address to contact (left blank on help menu).
It was free for years. Now they want to charge $10 month for maybe 15 new articles a day. RIP-OFF! Give me the entire daily news paper including ads & cupons then that might be worth it.
This news service is so off base it does not reflect the views of the vast majority of its own local Daytona metro readership. That is unforgivable. In a widely unpopular (politically correct) move this news service cancelled its popular "mugshots" tab that kept local readers apprised of who got arrested and is in jail. ( very useful information to the community for a whole host of reasons). Shame on Daytona News Journal for irs disgraceful/radical leftist, anti-American stands and censorship.
Love News Journal app, so far, so good. Now I can stay up to date on the Daytona area news, sports and events. Thanks!
Not much actual news. Not much interesting. Way too many sports and political articles. Pretty worthless for me.
I keep getting told I have used my limit of 5 times and I have to pay for a subscription to continue reading the news journal. Is this happening to anyone else?
I have to continually reset my password. It's horrible and I want to cancel this service
Terrible app. What happened to the print edition? Local county news gone. Too bad no zero stars.
Great source of what is happening in Daytona Beach Florida in this area I mean Volusia county and Flagler county especially in DeLand Florida News Station.

Living back in North Carolina I still have lots of family and friends there in Daytona Beach Florida this way I can keep up with the Joneses in Daytona thanks DBJ
No search function. Can't find advertisers.
Good source of information when out of town.
Latest update requires access to personal files. The newspaper does not need such access. Uninstalled
No search function hurts an other wise solid app.

I vacation in the daytona beach area often, and this app allows me to keep up on local current events when I'm not there.

Easy to maneuver
I HATE the new app ver 6.10.......... please help me get back to older version. I found old version intuitive and function rich even if occasionally froze. I wish I knew what version I had before so I could be specific in letting you know what I am comparing this to. I REALLY wish I had the old version back (it was loaded summer of 2021). In the old app......... when I opened, the NJ looked exactly like the hardcopy....... top part of newspaper page 1, auto zoomed to full portrait width
