Why did notifications stop? I verified mine are still on in settings. Cleared cache. Uninstaller and downloaded again.

I was reminded today why I deleted this app several years ago. All of the push notifications contain only part of the headline. When you try to open the link to the view the specific headline/ story, the app takes you to main app page and the story cannot be found.

I really like this app and use it several times per day to see the live news and weather. 5/22/19 it stopped updating so I uninstalled and reinstalled and I'm still getting the error that says" failed to retrieve data from server please try again later" and the application will not open.

At first this app worked great, but recently it glitches after about a minute. When trying to reopen, it just blinks and goes away. I've uninstalled and installed 2 times today and still messed up. As of now this app is useless. Hope you get it fixed soon. Thanks.

Way to many ads now. I understand the need for ad supported apps but this is really bad. The push notifications no longer give any relevant info, forcing you to open the app to generate ad revenue. This app used to be my go-to for local news but it has to many issues now

I never had a problem with the news on 6 app until now. I was in the middle of reading when an ad pops congratulating me on winning something which then froze up my phone. After rebooting and going back to read what I was reading it will not load the story. just a spinning loading circle. This is stupid.

I have turned the notifications off and yet I am bombarded with pointless "breaking news". I woke up this morning with six notifications about random stories. I'm fine with being notified of weather emergencies but this is ridiculous.

Would give 4 or 5 starts except for one HUGELY ANNOYING issue that has been ongoing for well over two years. The push notification content alerting to a story is NEVER available. i.e. "Two roommates robbed at gunpoint" notification comes in, click on the story an hour later, and it takes me to their main app, where I'm left trying to dig to find the story on their app. Poor execution, sadly.

I have had to uninstall the app several times over the years to get the notifications to start coming in again. It's incredibly frustrating. All of my settings in the app and on my phone allow for notifications so I don't know why they don't come through.

Used to be good....now adds pop up in the middle of the articles that you're trying to read. There is a big square in the middle of it so you can't read it and the freaking add is in the middle of the page...none of the video news will play without having it go in and out and buffer and stop to buffer more.....what have you guys done to the news app.??? I used to get all my news from Channel 6 locally and it has become so full of stupid ads that you can't read them or even watch the story. I will not use this app now. It has become too difficult to even read a story. I know for a fact you all aren't so broke that you had to go this way with your app. You need to get with the company of folks that handle the app. It's becoming useless. I always got my news from this app. I'm going to move on the Channel 8 or Fox 23. This is ridiculous.

I am so disappointed with this app!! I will get a news alert about a story....if i click on it that means i want to read about it or watch the video that supposedly pertains to the Alert...you would think. But no...it hardly EVER will take you to the story/headline that has popped up on my phone. Example: todays alert was about the woeful OK unemployment payments and whats being done. Im very interested as my partner is due to receive back payment filed over a month ago that we are still waiting

The "new weather" update on this app is a copy of ATs Weather App who helped design it. I strongly recommend anyone reading this to go check out ATs weather App, he is a down to earth guy who does everything for free. He doesn't get hyped up and make you run for your life. I will be uninstalling this app, it's sad when the big networks have to try and take credit for the hard work of someone else. ATs Squad!!!

continual fetch error. If you receive a notification about a news story, when you go to app the news displayed is at least a day old and cannot access the news you got notified about. This app was awesome until this last update, now it is horrible.

Always loved the app but all of a sudden there is a new ad over taking the whole screen of the news article I am trying to read and I cannot get rid of it. I cant even tell what the advertisement is.. Please fix

i love the app, i do. i would like to be able to set what notifications i want to pop up on screen. i don't really want to be alerted for anything else except bad weather conditions in the area(s) i choose. I'm sure I'm not the inly one. can we make this happen? if so 5* :)

Don't know what you've done to the app but it just keeps getting worse! Use to be able to get updated weather & news! Now its ads, video stories & you can't set up the page way you want to see the news! Done!

If you pause the app to take a phone call and then want to watch what you're missed, forget about it. It will jump ahead and not let you rewind. And going through areas where signal is strong it will constantly buffer.

Way too many adds (ad pop ups and during programs) that ruin the app. Most notifications require watching live video or videos instead of articles. Way better apps out there.

you turn off notifications and you still get them all day long! App doesn't render right. all the stories layered over on top of others. i have 387 apps. WORST APP I'VE EVER SEEN

Horrible. After having gone several months without the app I decided to reinstall it. Now I get pop ups in the app congratulating me for being a visa user (I'm not) and I've been selected to receive $1000 if I answer the survey below. Deleting the app again and never reinstalling.

I hate the new alerts. You only get part of the message baiting you to click their site, only to be taken to the site for 10 minutes of commercials. It's pointless to have this app anymore.

The partial headliner notifications are annoying. When I touch the notification to read the story, it's not there yet.

When you need it the most, it stops working....storm comes through; app stops working. Everything else on my phone works fine during that time.

I'm sorry I'm only giving 3 stars but y'all used to have live news coverage at news times for people that need to see it online because wet don't have a TV to watch it on so please put it on the app and I'll give it more stars. It used to be my go to app numerous times a day now that y'all changed it I can't watch news when I need to. Thanks and God Bless!

I undersrand that ads help pay for the app. But by the time you get through the ads the news is over. If you even get to watch the news there is a lot of buffering.
