It was good but when you updated it took away how easy it was it worse now plesae stop up dateing my stuff unless i tell you so!
One sided opinion app. Just wanted some straight up local news.

Presents the news, I guess that's what counts. But the app is not intuitive, slow, menus are poorly laid out, and you cannot scan headlines only like you were able to in previous versions.
Since the complete overhaul a few days ago this is the best local news app I have. My get rid of my other two local news apps. So far so good. .. keep up the good work
I go on this to check the obituaries. Very disappointed that you cannot check past obituaries. Use to you go back years. Now all you see is that days.
I wish we had another newspaper choose from then this sorry rag lot of a liberal opinions not enough conservative for me that's why I read the rhinoceros times
Despite the redesign it still has some serious navigation issues.
This app is what it is. A newspaper, which is what I need it to be. 5 stars if more sections maybe comics? Good app overall!

App is pretty well done, unfortunately it doesn't serve as a good way to get local news. The N&R is a glorified police blotter, with nothing but stories about crime. The rest of the "news" articles are re-publications of AP reports or other local news outlets. N&R hasn't had much real journalism in some time. Sad for paper serving such a large metro area in NC, look elsewhere for good local news. 2 stars because it is still a huge step up from their real "website".

I think this better than Fox's app. Easier to navigate and the sports scores don't look like they were coded by a child. Keep up the good work N&R!
I get a force close every time with this app. Completely worthless.
Your update is nothing but more ads and requires people to create an account to view articles. No new layout btw. This is supposed to be local news, not a money making scheme. Not sure what happened to you guys but it's truly a disappointment.
