App continues to freeze while reading articles. I have un-installed & re-installed more than once. The "updates" are not correcting the issue.
What is up with this app?? I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled this app at least a dozen times because its very buggy and glitchy, hoping that would fix it. The latest problem is when l try to open the app, I get the 8 News Now logo screen and absolutely nothing else! WHEN it works, it blasts out sports updates on the Raiders, Golden Knights and UNLV, even if you have sports notifications turned off. I expect a lot better from the Valley's News Leader.
I have used the app for about a year. Everything was great until about a week ago. Now only the logo screen appears - absolutely nothing else shows on the screen. I am still getting notices about new news stories but it doesn't do any good because the app won't work at all. What a bummer as I really liked the app before.
Why did you update the app? It was fine before. If ain't broke, don't fix it. The new lay out is worse. I can't even pull up traffic updates now, just goes to a blank screen. I don't need news articles from a year ago either on the main feed. I want current LOCAL news.
The last few days this app has become horrible. Can't receive notifications, finally after several attempts to uninstall and re-install, I just uninstalled it for good. Pity, because I'm a channel 8 news watcher.
There's always either a problem with the video and more often with the sound. The icon at the bottom of the screen shows that it is on mute but when you try to unmute it doesn't work=no sound
Have used this app for long time was very happy till I realized I was not getting any local news! Fix this app does me no-good! I have been loyal to channel 8 for years,but that will change if you don't fix this!
The app does not load 90% of the time and when it does, it's very slow. Please fix the performance issue it bring the old app back.

Ads and videos start automatically. Its very annoying if you only want to read the news without unwanted sounds from ads
Videos NEVER WORK. This app is cool if you like the same ad over and over. Also if you dont want to watch any videos they try to post. Annoying af
I have since been able to reinstall app and now seems to work great like it used to. Best local news app to use.
App won't open at all on a Samsung S10. I have to uninstall and reinstall every time. What is happening?
Took long to download. It use to open now does not. The old way was better. This new updated is a joke and will be deleting unless goes back. So sad so many people are deleting.
5 star rating news app, only thing that i do not like is the advertisement that comes up every time I open the app.
app is ok not enough video content. live streaming impossible with metro pcs unlimited data and Samsung j7 prime( new phone)...😪

Not intrusive or annoyingly overbearing. Just right news notifications.

I live in Colorado now but still watch the 8 News in Vegas because it is like visiting family. I know all of them.
Full article not loading. When I opened an article to read, only the first 2 paragraphs load onto the screen. I uninstalled and installed the app and still have the problem. I do not have this issue with CNN and another local news app.
