News stories are rarely updated or posted in a timely manner. Whoever updates the national news section is terrible. As of today, it has been 4 days since updated.
The streaming of this app compared to an actual live stream is off by minutes. This can potentially put many lives in danger, especially after the tornado warning we just had.
Why did the Android TV version stop working. I have to use a sideload launcher to watch it. Nvidia shield.
This app's content continues to deteriorate. The content is not updated as frequently as before, especially on the weekends. Local news articles are often poorly edited and littered with typos. In short, this news site is no longer as relevant or useful as it was previously.
It was ok except for the bogus news articles at the bottom of each article. I could just ignore them but I'd rather find a local news app that doesn't sell advertisement space to click bait per click through listings. Wish me luck Haha
Newschannel5 has been part of my family all my life. It's the ONLY news, weather, sports channel for me.
This used to be one of the best local news apps around. Since the most recent update the app crashes regularly. Sadly, it worked just fine until you guys tried to fix it.
It worked well for news & weather notifications until recently. Nothing seems to work now. I can't even install it on my new phone.
This is my must have app. Its on my phone and my firestick as well. It works very well on the Firestick and is flawless on my phone. Absolutely a must have for Mid- Tennessee news on the go.

Trying to read the stories, but can't cause of your ads. They keep going in and out and the words of the story go up and down. It's almost impossible to read them without getting a headache
Streaming quality is horrible constantly having to reset and then sit through another commercial to get back to what you were watching.
Fast news updates. Keeps you up to the moment with news and weather. The best station in the area, in my opion.

Serious lag and skipping in the news videos lots of information lost when videos skip would have given a higher rateing if it is fixed FIX THE PROBLEM
Got a popup for a tornado warning. I clicked it and instead of showing the warning i got to watch a 30 second ad. Thats pretty stupid.
I love their news and weather reports. Used to be able to share the weather to Facebook for a friend. Now that option has been removed. 😢
I love how easy it is to use. The live feed right there at the top of the app had me change from using another news app. Keep up the good work.
I Actually love the App, yes has adds! But i just skip by them, whats another figure scroll.... I see news on here way before it hits our TV a huge Plus!!!
Just absolutely hate the fact of how biased that Channel 5 News has become, slowly throughout the years.. I am 30yrs old.. NCH5 has been watched in my family for generations!
Watching news channel 5 early in the morning gets me prepared of the happiness of the day 😄 just before I head out to work that's the only news channel i watch all through the day on the app on my phone and a special thanks to the senior medelogest lelan staton

News channel 5 app gives me the option of following or catching up on all the latest news and weather. THEY ARE THE GREATEST!!!
Its an awesome app. You can get weather, news and school closings all at once.
No matter what I do, I cannot stop the app from going off randomly in the early morning hours before daybreak. I DO NOT need an alert for the daily weather forecast. I have adjusted the settings for certain alerts only - doesn't stop. I've set the quiet time feature for certain hours - doesn't matter - the app continues to alert. Nothing I do changes it. I deleted the app before because of this, because I gave a similar review and the bug was never fixed. Still hasn't been fixed.
