Many of the videos are not about what the titles claim, an annoying feature. News items are sometimes sensationalized. When I return to the main list after reading a story the app scrolls back to th beginning and I have to start againfrom the begining

Be nice to be able to adjust font size, or anything for that matter. I like newshub news but with all the sponsored content and tiny type I'm considering giving up.

Good, however will not stay connected thru play store reinstalled still same use it once. Then won't reconnect going to uninstall and try yet again. Really liked news hub. What has happened to it

Good app but what really annoys me is when the notification pops up with something I want to read about, so I tap on it to open the app and read the article but once the app opens I'm just on the main home page and the story that I was notified about is no where to be seen. Edit: So the notifications now take you to a web page instead of viewing in the app, what's the point in having an app if it directs you to a web page, other news apps actually work, might have to stick with those.

The app is full of click bait, headlines that don't relate to the story, a lot of gutter journalism , they focus more on gossip then real news stories, If you're fingers go near the ads you get diverted to the ads

This used to be my favoured news app but the adverts covering the whole page and the over sensitivity of just looking at the screen and it taking you to the ad web page is making me seriously consider uninstalling it. Another really annoying thing is that when you click on a news video it launches straight into an advert but tells me that my video will resume in 15 seconds. Just splitting hairs but how can my video "resume" when it hasn't even bloody started? Really winds me up!!!

Good app in many ways. Great to see rural section but let down by not enough updated news. So much happens in our biggest industries and not enough is shown off

I find it hard sometimes to see where one story "tile" finishes and the next one starts.

Filled with clickbait, too many ads, videos and pics very rarely match the story. Lazy journalism

Bit of a pointless app, as when you click on notifications it opens up both the app home page and then the actual article in chrome. Even this has been buggy the last few days where the article isn't consistently opened in chrome and from the app home page you will probably not find it if it has been some time since u received the notification.

Always been a fairly horrible app to use and since adding advertisements its now even worse. Regularly crashes when scrolling, or heaven forbid you glance the ad field as you are scrolling and you get diverted to an advertisement you in no way wanted to read let alone click open. I guess mediaworks needs the money so they have the sensitivity feedback setting over ad spaces set to "open on the whisper of a butterfly fart". Sort it out please...the incessant crashing at least.

Ap works ok for me, good to update on breaking news. You need to fix the videos however - the videos at the top of an article are broken. for example, today I tried to look at the video for the Air NZ story about cheaper fares. The video that played was all about safety videos and how Air NZ led the way with their flash safety videos - there was no video relating to their new fare prices. This is common, the video that plays often relates to a previous story from some weeks/months ago.

I've found the videos that go with the articals often don't actually go with the articals. The clips are often unrelated. I don't mind adds, it pays for this stuff but adds before EVERY video is over the top especially when it is a 15 second add to watch a 15-30 second video. The articles are often lacking any real content.

Seems to function ok but one annoying "feature " is that stories with photos shown on the main page do not show the photo when opened. Just adverts. So a small photo piques your interest but when you open the story to view it you only instead get a big fat advert in place of the photo. Very irritating.

Using the 'breaking news' function for things that are fully not breaking news all the time to keep notifications popping up is annoying AF, obviously just trying to get people using the app more. No clear way to turn off these notifications. Uninstalled pretty damn quick when that started.

Works fine but too many editing errors, typos etc in stories.

I've always been loyal to 3News, but the inability to stop alerts for things like someone losing 10k on their kiwisaver or some all black test/score/players lunch choice means I'm uninstalling the app. I've always turned on the television looked at whats on TV 3,2 etc then gone to Netflix... Because TV3 thinks that reality TV is what everyone wants because the vocal minority like it, is also why I don't even look at it anymore. Media works need to improve their content, not blame the Internet.

For some reason, this app doesn't display the news stories or only part of the them. I've cleared the cache often but that's becoming inconvenient. I'm running Samsung S9+ and without issue until the past month. I've deleted then reinstalled but same issue. I'm using One News more now when this had been my goto! Any suggestions pls?

Have reinstalled twice but the app doesn't display correctly. Most articles have pictures missing and they are replaced by an icon and the word 'framely'. Very annoying as I have to go to the Newshub website if I want to see the pictures

The most god awful annoying news app. I had it only one day, uninstalled it after getting constant "news" notifications every 20 mins. There is no setting menu in the app to turn off the notifications. I guess we're expected block notifications within the phone. Nope.

App is OK but it would be awesome to set what news you view and get notifications about. Would be great to be able to follow international and national news only and not get spammed with sports 'alerts' every 30 minutes. The stuff news app allows this so will stick to that till Newshub allow personalisation.

App has been quite good, but lately there are just too many notifications. Probably 20 every day. I deleted the one news app for spamming notifications, but now newshub is doing it too. I would like to see no more than four top-story / breaking-news type notifications a day, max. Seriously considering deleting this app as well.

App works fine, however it has a notification every 10mins, and no way to change what you are notified about 😠. I now just turn off all notifications. I would like to only get notifications about breaking news and/or just 1 notification each day with the most important news.

AVERAGE. Still no Black Theme and Large Font options for Low Vision almost Blind readers. Not as bad as NZ Herald which has ZERO LOW VISION features. I switched to Newshub because clearer to read. MZ Herald is the worst News Site In the world ... no adjustments for Low VISION readers. so you have no competition in that space.

A great UI and overall very attractive and informative. I keep knocking off stars though due to them constantly adding the wrong video to the article. The thumbnail may be right but the clip is not.

Tried updating to the latest version but the issue still persists. Push notifications just disappear when you click on it and you have to click on the app itself for it to open to the page the push notification was referring to.

Works fine for the most part, just gets a little annoying when you scroll past an ad and it reads the scroll as a click and opens the ad. It's pretty scummy.

I use your newshub app on my Samsung android phone. It used to work well. But now a lot of times instead of a picture there is an icon plus the word Iframely. What is occurring? No response received, what is happening? April. Seems the update has fixed issues.
