Updated the app, and it looks like you took away the ability to share articles...only FB, Twitter and email...not good...if you return to the point where the content could be shared freely, I'll give 5 stars and edit my review...I lijed the app the way it was before...with the abikity to copy the link for a story snd post it to where I wanted to share it...you need to realize there are a lot of other sites and people than just Facebook and Twitter...
I wasn't expecting this app to push advertisements to my notifications. That's a no-go for me to keep this app. Also, anytime I tried to open a notification that had a headline that seemed interesting, I was never taken to that article. The last time I tried it asked me about my TV provider. Again, a no-go for me. So, Newsmax app, you have to go.
Very informative but also has some comic relief. Love Diamond and Silk Crystal Clear. Two beautiful ladies telling it like it is in a somewhat humorous way. Republicans and open minded democrats alike should really enjoy this app. I find it very entertaining. Alot of good shows on it.
App is awkward to navigate if you just want to go to stories. Profile links from your comments and responses NEVER work. So, while having the ability to comment is nice, its even more pointless than usual. There's a notification that someone responded but you can't see their response or even your original comment.
Can't figure put the app at all. A large amount of thumbnails, but can't tell the dates they were created. I don't want to click on them with no idea what I'll find. Old news.
Use to be great! now it has far ro many commercials. My kid was watching cartoons on tv so i turned on the newsmax app on my phone and i realized he had watched the whole 20min episode and i havent seen 1 second of news its all been comercials.
Last update has caused live TV in full-screen not to work. If it's not broke, don't fix it! Absolutely junk now!
NewsMax is great. This app is not. Can't suppress notifications. Put in a switch and I might try it again (Update) Okay, things are getting worse. Now the topics and headlines are riddled with clickbait and hype items from social media. Lost a star (unable to clear the last one) . Who are you, really???
App was okay when it worked. It now will not function on my Galaxy S21. Freezes on splash screen even after reinstalling. I see an update was just released (2.1.17), but still doesn't work on my S21, even after uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling. Update 12 Jan 2022. On version 2.1. 28, I was able to get past the splash screen and enjoy normal operation but only with mobile data turned on. The app won't work when I'm only connected to my home wifi.
TV Channel is great, but the app fails! The app puts headlines in your status bar. When you click the headline, the app launches an ad for Newsmax TV. Close the ad and the associated article doesn't exist. Searching for it yields "article not found". If I go to the website, an ad for Newsmax Platinum comes up and you can't read the article. You also can't close the ad.
Site doesn't work half the time. Click on link it returns can't open link error. Plus now they aren't covering 2000mules so 🤷
Excellent as far as being able to watch the shows. 2 downsides...no switch to turn off notifications and PLEASE allow the shows and live shows to still play in a minimized window after hitting our phones home button. 2 updates that'll truly make this app America First(for the AMERICAN CITIZENS) 🇺🇲
What's the deal? Work on my fire TV now without stopping every few minutes and now even the app won't let me cast it from my phone and it did yesterday and many many times before
I love Newsmax it's great, free, easy to use, but only problem I have noticed lately has been the video feed and playback on the app but I also noticed this on Newsmax Channel on Rumble as well. I would really appreciate at it y'all could fix the video feed play back technical issues that y'all have been having. It's been pretty annoying.
It was working well previously. But a few days ago it stopped working. Now it just buffers as if it's about to start but cannot get going. Just endless buffering is all you get. I will keep trying for a few more days but may end up just deleting it if this continues.
Like the news here but the app definitely needs work and has needed work for some time now. The push notifications for headlining news doesn't take you to the app when clicked it just brings you to an add for newsmax and then you can never find the article/s. Please fix this 🙏!
On FireTV, it repeats, fails, and errors out multiple times per hour. The app, should go straight to the news site without me selecting it. Honestly, it's app is embarrassing.
I love information on their news. I would give it a five star except the texts they send about an exciting topic doesn't link you to that topic! It just opens the live show airing and the prerecorded news shows. I have no idea which show to watch to find that particular topic. I don't have time to watch all 12 hours to find it. When they correct that, I will give them a five star.
We love News Max. The app leaves a lot to be desired. The broadcast often skips and frequently freezes and backs up a few seconds. It makes watching really irritating.
This app has problems. If you want to hear the reporters repeat themselves while missing the next part of the report this apps for you.
Just wanted to download to say that this source is 100% media. Nothing less. The ads I so often hear for Newsmax is extremely misleading. I happened to come across this looking for a versatile media source. I don't consider myself Conservative or Liberal, but everything I hear in the ads this source pushes tells me that it's full of propaganda and no less worthless than the extreme left media Newsmax seems to love talking about.
Great App works great and trust this news site to get the truth...But now has stopped working. Whats going on?
I cannot post a comment on either the website or the app. I have a Samsung note 8 and the os is updated. I watch the shows, but in the Internet era, to not be able to participate in dialogue with like minded people about certain articles is not a good look for a news outlet. Trying to type a comment is useless when the app prevents you by constantly blasting ads.
