The game was amazing, I loved the creatures and the game was nice and smooth. And if your starting enjoy the music! The soundtrack is so good I'm not lying. The trainer battle song is a literal BOP. The only downside is you have to pay which us understandable and the types super effective moves are kinda funky. Though the games good! I'm going to get the full game and just enjoy every bit of it.

Getting the full version for a buck is well worth the price, my only complaint is a steep difficulty curve, encouraging you to step back and gain experience before progressing in the storyline. Unless you feel confident to fight opponents a few levels above you all the way through.

This is a fun gaming experience. The full game can be unlocked via an in-app purchase. The low rating is mostly for limited playthrough in the free version. The actual game is not bad. The UX and the UI can be tweaked a tiny bit to require less taps, etc. But, overall okay just the 1 gigabyte could be a show stopper. A diet or two would not hurt to reduce the size to 500-700mb.

This is an amazing game. I love the storyline. I love the characters. I love the art style. But, there is a GAME BREAKING glitch involving the saving system. Occasionally, your game will begin to lag out. When this happens, save and quit IMMEDIATELY. If you don't, that lag will get worse and worse, until the game crashes entirely. When you restart the game, you will have lost a HUGE chunk of progress. This amount averages at around 2 hours of play time. Fix this, and I will rate five stars :(

It doesn't fit on my screen. Great game, just wish I could see the whole screen. If you arent going to support a common phone like my Samsung 6s, at least make it so your graphics are changeable like on a computer, or some other fix. Right now I blame it on the OS update, since the graphics on a lot of my apps changed, but it's still a huge problem. If the review still reads this, then it's still happening.

I love this game. But there's a problem. I've experienced at least FOUR game crashes in which I lost ALL of my progress up to a certain point in the game regardless if I saved. For example I had been leveling up my Spink after I made it to the desert. Made it to level 24. Then the game crashed, and I was set back, all the way to the point where those stupid colorful rangers were all knocked out! 😡 Fix these crashes please! I play on Samsung!!!!

Best monster catching game out there! I have only one problem that I would really like addressed. So I hope you guys read this. In the desert right before leaving to the icy realm. And right before the fishing part where you get the gears. The game crashes. And the game won't let me save my spot after I beat the fishing if I can get that far without it crashing. I don't know why, it worked so smooth throughout, but now at this point in the game, it keeps crashing. Thank you for your time.

THIS POKEM-I mean Neoxemon game is awesome! The story, the graphics, and the characters, I love it all to bits. I loved it so much I bought it within the first few seconds! But, one thing I would like is an option to choose a control scheme, like a stationary joystick, and not a touchpad one. Would be easier to move for people like me who are better with that. But one question, why did your game start crashing every minute or so after this? Nothing worked, plz fix as Ive become paranoid to save.

I was having fun with this game, until the crashes started happening. It got to the point where I was saving every 5 seconds, but apparently it doesn't help After I level grinded I beat an important battle, and the game crashed. "Oh I'll just have to redo the battle" I said, but when I reopened the game it brought me back to the start of my level grind session. All my levels were back to where I started. I saved right before the fight and it didn't work 2 stars because I had fun while it lasted

Like the game a lot. Two things could make it better. One, the rarity system wastes all the cool monster designs, because no one will use anything lower than mega rare. It unbalances the game. Two, I don't know what happened, but when I switched phones I lost all my items and had to frantically buy more. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

The games fun, I'm playing it again for the second time, it has an engaging story line with some humorous moments and I like the possibility to choose which abilities you want to use. I also think the same characters are well designed, aswell as the avatars you get to choose. My only issues are that sometimes my saves don't process even after the game said my save was successful, so I have to repeat parts of the story repetitively. Additionally even offline there's lag and the game closes.

Look, it's a great game. But it has one major flaw- it crashes and doesn't save your progress. I spent two whole hours leveling all of my Nexomon to level 6 and got a great party together and I was really bonding with my team. But then it crashed out of nowhere and when I reopened it, all of my progress was gone. I had even saved and "backed up" my files multiple times! Honestly, I don't have the patience for this and I won't edit my review unless I get an email back with proof that it's fixed.

I've played this now for a few hours, got a decent handle on the game as a whole. Yes, it's basically a Pokemon rip off, but that's okay. It's an enjoyable game in its own right, even if it's a doppelganger. It's definitely got a similar story, but with a bit of a twist - the player's parents appear to be at least somewhat in league with the bad guy! Not sure how this plays out yet, but that's definitely interesting. Pros: The Nexomon are HELLA cute. I would squish so many of these things. I like being able to see the 'mons rarity in the battle screen so I can decide if I want to catch it. Being able to see the shaking grass for battles are also awesome if I want to avoid them. Status ailments only seem to last for one round, much easier to plan around! I like being able to see the shiny bits on the ground to know where stuff is to pick up. The database (Nexo-dex?) tells you what level a 'mon evolves at and that is SUPER handy, especially for a new player. The game also basically throws the coin currency at you making it easy to stay stocked up on in game items. Finally, having your 'mons heal completely to full every time they level means I can stay out of cities and just battle/level for longer. Cons: The catch fail rate is far higher than it feels like it should be. (I know this is likely to drive people to buy the golden/100% catch nexotraps, but it's still frustrating to see a lvl 2 'mon break out...) I'd also really love to be able to adjust my walk speed; Given how the controls use a virtual joystick, I have no way to slow myself down, so I overshoot a LOT. Having an option to either toggle speed or movement type would help a lot. Though the 'mon typing is virtually identical to Pokemon, there are some that just aren't obvious with regards to strength over other types. I think wind was strong over rock? Just a bit confusing. Overall, as of 28 Sept 2021, I'm enjoying the game and I expect I will continue to play it.

It's really fun with really well designed monsters. The story is also pretty good. My one problem with the story is the companion robot who's really annoying. Another big problem is that the saving isn't great. When the game crashes it often doesn't save. Also the game is buggy as frick on phones. Sometimes I'll load into a battle and there won't be a background and the nexomon will disapear occasionally.

Played this game a few years back, only made it to the volcano. Not because uninterested, but for different reasons. I loved it. But, sad to see the game like this. Now I understand it's low rating. Constant bugs forcing me to save after almost every battle, otherwise I'll have to exit the game and start over from either the last save or last auto save. Hopefully, the next fully fledged console/PC game you guys are coming out with is even better than this game and doesn't have these bugs.

I've been playing the Lite version at the time of this review. So far the game is good. Presentation, graphics and gameplay are all great. The only issue thus far (Possibly due to my device being a Samsung Galaxy A20) is the menu not adjusting property on the screen which makes is difficult to see what I'm actually selecting. Hopefully a patch will resolve this.

A fun game, but game-breakingly glitchy. Playing on a galaxy s8. It takes about 40 taps on the title screen to start the game. It asks you to log into your account two or three times a session. The right and left side of the screen are cut off during battles. When you save, you can load the game that session but if you close the game it will keep one of your old saves. I lost an hour and a half of grinding and new guys with it losing my save. Maybe I'll try again if some of this gets fixed.

I really love the game , the dialogue is great, each character is like kind of its own person, and overall I think it's really fun. But that's kind of where the complaint comes in because I can't experience the full game without a battle pass thingy. Maybe you can make it so certain secluded areas for the battle pass, instead of making it so you have to stop throughout the whole story and pay to continue. Now I have to delete the app because there's nothing else I can do.

I played Nexomon for 70 hrs and I can say for sure that this is a really good game. This game has great visuals, story, animations, characters, designs, music, and post-game content. But, this game has some problems with the combat, super linear progression, microtransactions (not pay to win), and can get grindy. Also, it has the problem of crashing a lot and glitches with graphics (a simple save and reset fixes these glitches). To me, the game is definitely worth paying $1 for the full game.

Well there is quite a bit to say about this game, good and bad... Let's start with the good qualities, namely the graphics and designs, which you can see the creator/s really put in their all to make the game fun are all who are willing to give it a try. The story is pretty good and so are the ingame mechanics. Now for the not so good things... The game crashes once in a while but what really peeves me is that the game is not made to fit your individual screen and so you miss important buttons.

Jes. G. Sep 24, 2020

The problem: After playing for about an hour the game crashed and all of my progress was deleted even though I used the in game save function. Tried again and played for two hours, saved probably 20 times, game crashed and lost all my progress again. I love these style games and the designs and art are great and clean so it saddens me to leave a 1 star review. Its just not playable until the problem is fixed.

B.C. Oct 2, 2019

Nexomon blew me away with its art style and colorful, and often whimsical and strong looking creatures. The game is reminiscent of the best parts of Pokemon and other collectible monster games, and that's a good thing! So many types, rarities, and evolutions will keep you busy for hours on end. The story is compelling, the combat is simple yet strategic and really gets you to plan your next move. Very much a solid experience on mobile, and at a cheap entry point (1$ USD), it's worth every penny.

Tro. Sep 9, 2020

Such disappointment. Looked good, played a little, ended up buying the full version. But after 3 hours of play and many different attempts the save function doesn't work after a certain point. For me it's up to the first gym or after catching 8 nexomon. So wasted money since I have to fully restart everytime I want to play it. Also I cannot seem to find a map of any kind which also is annoying. And the joystick is difficult to use. Very jumpy. Fix these issues and it would be a 100/5 game.

Eth. H. Sep 11, 2020

I see A TON of recent low reviews on this game but and I cannot speak against them because I haven't played the app version in a long time. I can say as someone who has played it on Steam, these issues ARE NOT on the PC version. At least not as horribly. I've gotten a good distance into the game and it has never crashed, the saving works and is easy to do, and I had only encountered 1 sprite bug at one point. I had a fantastic time and would like to direct people to the PC version if possible.

Man. C. Feb 23, 2020

Honestly, I really like this game! While it does obviously take a lot from pokemon it does enough to make an interesting narrative, at least from what I've seen. My only problem is the paywall, where the game stops you from going any further unless you pay a dollar. Theres no way to get any further in the story without paying. A dollar is a fair price, but I would have rathered the game to have just cost a dollar from the beginning instead of making me think I could play it for free.

Jac. D. Nov 25, 2018

Entire game should be available with ads, not just the first section. After seeing all of the problems people are having with losing out on the full version after payment there's no way I'd buy it which is unfortunate as he game is very fun. I'm not trying to lose money and still be unable to access save files or be forced to repurchase if I have to uninstall the game.

Lyn. B. Aug 29, 2020

Poor. I thought it was cute, fairly engaging. But during game I've been saving regularly. My game starts closing on it's own, which is annoying but SHOULD be fine. Because I was spastically saving, so I wouldn't lose progress. But this last time I had been saving over and over, and yet my game auto closed and when I opened it up I was WAY far back and missing th as gs I'd caught and leveled. This makes a really enjoyable game frustrating and a waste of time.

bok. Sep 13, 2020

I love this app a lot and it's 100% worth the $1 to buy the full version! The art is so cute and the gameplay is fluid. My only few issues with it is that the catch rates on the monsters dont really make sense and the game crashes on me occassionally. I get it that they want to make money on the gold traps, but it seems like there's no rhyme or reason to catch rates? a lot of times common monsters break out of 5+ traps and mega rare monsters are caught on the very first. Otherwise I love it!

Lia. A. C. Apr 5, 2020

I would've given a 5 star, since compared to micromon you guys have done great to improve the game, from the graphics, design, especially the story full of twists I cant even describe, you guys have made this game far better than Micromon. The only flaw in this great game, are crashes. There are times, si many times especially when I am farming, where the game crashes, and when you load it in, it takes you to the 4th to the last time you saved the game, which is very irritating, cuts the fun.
