Next Bus Sydney
Next Bus Sydney uses real time GPS devices on the bus to let you know the REAL time the buses will be arriving at your bus stop, not the time listed on the timetable. This application uses the Sydney Transport info TXTBUS service and presents it with a simple user interface and useful features such as:
- Color coded arrival times and countdown
- Favorite stops for quick retrieval
- Up to date arrival times use GPS tracking system
- Find stops in your area on a map
NOTE: This application uses the TXTBUS service to retrieve bus times. Standard SMS fees apply.

This was great but now it's not. What has gone wrong. Cannot even find the local stops. Map shows stops but I cant select them . Have to try another app or go back to using timetables. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling no luck the latest update destroyed it so I am Very Sad. (I often travel unfamiliar routes involving a number of bus changes. I can now see which buses service which stops which is invaluable.) Well not any more.
No point downloading unless you're going to pay for the premium version! Why even offer it for free? It doesn't show busses or stops on the free version, and friends with the premium version have the issue of the busses not showing on the route correctly... Do better!
sometimes it goes blank. communication error . no update of any bus. also it it not 100% accurate in the map & displayed timetable can be very different, which leads to miss the bus often.
Generally improved since January. Need to fix notification bar. You've got white font on white background, making it unreadable.
worked 3 months then stopped to work...not consistent app. app start lagging. doesnt detect any satelite signal while other apps do detect signal (e.g. city mapper)
Its a great app though it stopped working for me. I tried deleting and downloading the app though it doesnt work. I would give it a five if it continued to start working.
Suddenly stopped working in October/November. Buses no longer showing. From perfect to useless in a month
Used to be good and accurate. Now does not load at all and says "something went wrong, try again later". It is basically useless right now. Please fix
Just paid for premium and I cant save mutiple routes, cant save any stops and cant see any live data! I want a refund and be in contact via email
Amazing App. It always tells me when the bus is coming and if it's late or not. I recommend this, it AWESOME
Excellent for someone using bises frequently. Has helped me a lot. If bus late I can look at alternatives.
constantly not working (something went wrong, retry). Happens so often that I couldn't rely on it.
Doesn't show all of the buses for my stops and will occasionally bug out but otherwise I like having it so I can still plan some buses
Useful app, I purchased the premium version to add additional favourite routes but am still unable to add more than 1 favourite...
Was great not has stopped working most of the time. Error saying something went wrong.
very well made app, does realtime info on bus arrivals with a realtime moving bus image enroute to one's bus stop!
I have definitely found this app useful. Although there are issues for reloading.

It stopped working after a few days and zero support its a waste of money
Used to work but now can't even locate nearest bus stop or "next bus".
Ugh... All I wanted was to be able to type in the stop no & u won't let me without access to my phone.. fail

it tells you %100 right. about the buses. and the map.
I pay for premium so.I expect a service. When it works it is reasonably accurate, however it consistently has a blank for timetables, not just realtime - it doesn't even backup to expected times, luckily I keep a lite version of tripview to fill in for the constant crashes. I know it's the app because tripview has accurate realtime information when this app fails me. I do like the interface of this app over others which is why I choose it when they diccomissioned arrivo app. Arrivo worked better.
