Next Contact Widget

Needs to be updated for Android.

I love this widget. It's great. I adore the honeycomb design and the option to "flip" the contact list. The only thing that's missing in my opinion is better design for viewing the contact. I would love it if instead of opening the contact in its own interface it would just open it in the contacts app that I use (default android 5.1 for now)

Same issues as Tony Jewett. Multiple number icon is the same. Should have the ability to select an icon or automatically have for Home, work, mobile etc. As well as Tony Jewett's issue 2 and 3 and John Williamson issue. I would also like to see the ability to store more contacts. Not just the two sides (front and back). So in essence to be able to flip several times before flipping back to the first side as well as having to choose between square cubes or hexagon (beehive like) cubes to place contacts on.

I am not sure how anyone could give this more than 1 star. This app constantly erases my contacts from the app (it doesn't delete the actual contact). I've had this app for several years as has my wife with the same exact problem on different phones. If there was a better alternative, I'd jump in a second. Are we 2 the only on this is happening to?

UPDATE: Upgraded to KitKit yesterday, now my pictures keep disappearing. If I reload the launcher, or restore widget from backup, they come back, but will disappear with 5 minutes. Recreating the widget seems to have fixed that issue. Very cool looking, and works fairly well. Fix the below items and I will change to a 5: 1. Multiple numbers - if you have multiple phone numbers for someone (like mobile vs. home), there's no text or logo to tell which is which. 2. Text Button - The button to launch texting launches the stock messaging app instead of my currently select default (Hangouts). 3. Button customization - I only need the settings button on one side, so letting me replace that with another contact would be nice, too.

OK, so like most Next Launcher widgets, it looks really cool. Sadly, like most Next Launcher widgets, it has issues. I've deleted most of my other widgets and now this one just randomly removes contacts. Not a huge issue as they can just be re-added, but that sort of defeats the purpose.***No updates in more than 2 years!? Like all of the other Next products, I loved them, then when they stopped working, just uninstalled. Really want to love them again.***

This bad boy works great. Been a while since ive actually accessed my contact book. Everyone i call or txt is on this convinient widget. Only really wish Next's widget products had skin options. Wish i could match the widget to the rest of my phones awesomeness

It's a little confusing. Was not able to figure out how to set it right. Should give some tutorial.

I have red theme and this widget doesn't look right on the theme I have it would be better if it would let you change the colors on it. To make it match the themes

When ever the phone gets rebooted the widget looses all it's data and I have to reset all the contacts all over again.

As stated by others, contacts get switched for wrong titled other contacts & after about a month loose all contacts. 5 stars could be yours should this be cured. Plus a one touch ring option would be useful. Thanks

There is so much about next that is great and so much that is bad.. not being able to change the skin or how to person desire it to be are just some things

Beautiful 3D animation great functionality very useful widget. Could have added one touch calling functionality instead of just pulling up the contact screen. That's why it gets a 4 star rating. Used on a galaxy s3.

It's good when it actually works. However, for some weird reason, sometimes all my contacts will resent to default. I have to restore it every time. It's happened more them once already and it's getting really annoying. Please fix.

Awesome 3d widget only problem is it's very plain and doesn't go with other themes like magnolia and jewel needs more skins to complete it.

After the most recent update, every time I access the home screen; I find that my contacts have been reset to a default. I have to reload my back up data only to find it reset the next time I access the home screen. The app I'd essentially worthless.

You can add several contacts to your home screen without using a ton of space. At some point the double-tap feature stopped working though.

I like this app a lot, just wish that it would load quicker so that I don't have to wait for my pictures to load. Also, I have a request. Could you possibly make the button to call or text your contact larger? I have difficulty hitting that tiny button on occasion.

Now the contacts reset to default every time I press the home button. Makes it useless. But, do any of the developers even care?? This has been an issue for quite some time and still nothing has been done about it.

Since an update a year ago, icons are not showing names on it, will have to delete this app and go with another one.

Love this widget. It disappeared from my screen. I have deleted it and installed twice but I can't get it back.

The only thing stopping me from loving this is the lack of ability to change the color to match your theme. I mean why would they even make a "NEXT" widget without this feature? Isn't the very dynamic of NEXT products to theme and customize your phones user interface? I will never be able to use this unless I change my theme to something blue or close to it, otherwise it's an eyesore. Or they could've just made the widget black/grey to match everything.

I really love the way the 3D look.I wish there was an option for the number of contacts shown. I only have a few contacts I call frequently. Also it would be nice if you could choose which contact would be direct dial or direct message.

This widget 3d mode very nice but need more flip or rotate option where we can enter more contact name.just 2 flips back and front .this is not sufficient to entering emergency call.Need upgrade

Settings get wiped out on almost daily basis. Other than that, good app.

Really love this widget! If you could allow support for this on a 'Nova Launcher' that would be really amazing... I am willing to pay for this development if need be. Please consider my request. Thank you.

Keeps on erasing contacts after a few hours from the boxes.

Why can't it use the theme I'm using... 5 stars when it matches the rest of my theme

I loved this apps and I really do share this apps with mai friends n family.. Buh only if ew update next luncher 3D with apps drawer background photo so dt we can set our own pic in apps background..so plz fix it in next update

I love this app. It makes it so much easier and faster to call the people I call most often. I don't have to go through the entire contact list. Thanks!
